Now you say it, i would've thought that to actually. But i have a strong feeling this might be because of the older generation? Or its just not that big of a problem, idk
Manosphere is more than just the incel nerds, it's also their bullies, the "player" douche dude bros... But yeah. I was expecting something like D&D or Warhammer.
Typical fallacy of what women think they want and what they actually pick, hahahaa. Drunks, addicts and gamblers always hook up. These days new gen is probably into gaming as well.
Most nights, I argue online about crypto investments while puffing on a cigar, planning my next clubbing trip, gambling on poker sites, and collecting Funko Pops, all while switching between alpha male podcasts and adult videos, with makeup tutorials playing in the background and the room reeking of marijuana.
Hottest hobby is the one you’re genuinely interested in and makes your eyes light up when you talk about it. Ugliest hobby is one that you took up because you watched a UA-cam video that said women find it attractive.
Mine is the 1995 Dodge Dakota Service Manual! Did we just become best friends!? Seriously though, I keep it in my truck for reference, and I often end up casually reading it when I'm in my truck waiting for something. lol
Lol I'm a woman and I thought the same damn thing - I swear people nowadays don't have an opinion about something until someone tells them what it should be (ie, there's a reason "playing an instrument" made on the "attractive" list and "playing in a garage band" didn't😂)
Just for the (possibly younger) guys who may have clicked on the video because they're actually wondering what makes one attractive out there, please do note how all of the red flag hobbies include consumerism and/or an "get rich quick" attitude and the green ones are *skills* that take patience, diligence and prolonged effort and hard work to acquire. Those are the attractive qualities.
That's a really insightful analysis. In that vein it's also important to remember that attractive hobbies are only a part of the picture. As you alluded to, they are indicators to what your are like, but your character and personality are not outweighed by what you like to do.
I just imagined the conversation going like Her: "You like clubbing? Thats so unattractive." Him: " No not that kind of clubbing. I like clubbing baby seals."
Okay non are hobbies on this place except for Reading, Cooking, Playing instruments and wood working. Learning a new language. The others are not hobbies. 😂
Everyone plays games at this point, you want to find a guy who doesn't play the game you're gonna have to search. Besides, I don't consider gaming a hobby because it's not productive or unique. Music is my biggest hobby
@@atroposVa hobby doesn't have to be productive. Besides, depending on the game youre playing, it may have a story just as deep and meaningful as any book you might read. Speaking of, reading books certainly isn't a unique trait
In high school I was always that nerdy kid no girl ever paid any attention to. Now I'm officially handsome. Thanks Speeed 😍😍😍 (btw it's "shao-ma" not "zhjao-ma")
Hey, Xiaoma! :D I was curiously surprised when "Foreign Languages" was seen as a non-existent hobby. Because as a European, it's a relatively uncommon hobby, but still far from unheard of. I thought everyone knew someone with language-learning as a hobby. Since you're an American, do you think it's a typical US-thing to not have language-learning as a hobby?
@@Erling01 Hello! Where I am on the east coast of the U.S. I’d never heard of ‘foreign languages/language learning’ as a hobby before, as a 20 year old woman. And I’ve tried learning a language before, like with duolingo, and seen other friends do it- but never have I ever considered it to be anyones hobby. It seems like something people only dabble in.
@@Erling01 Another European here and same thing, was very surprised about that. I know many people who are learning a new language as a hobby. Not rare at all here.
Most women r very stupid people. Having said this, the general direction of the lists are correct. They don’t respect destructive behavior. They do respect productive hobbies like music, making and self improvement. I call bs, in my jealous experience musicians r at the top of the food chain for hobbies.
What kinda women like this? Answer: White suburban cat lady democrat women who think they like beta males. But in reality, don't yet realize they are lesbians.
I haven't watched the video yet but some of my favorite hobbies are, Make up Crypto Cigars Clubbing Marijuana Funko Arguing online Porn Gambling and Man o sphere. Edit: Oh.......
I can even share my Kindle stats with you! 😄 Honestly, I never thought reading would be considered such an attractive hobby, but since you’re curious: 2024: 46 books (so far) 2023: 77 books 2022: 73 books 2021: 132 books 2020: 100 books 2019: 39 books That said, I sometimes feel like Women imagine men who read as being exclusively into books like The Psychology of Money or Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
This is my read. I saw the title and was really surprised, mainly because I was confused that James would turn to manosphere nonsense… but this was solid. James sounded like that cool upperclassman that gives good advice. We need more dudes like that.
Gotta be honest, I kinda clench a little bit every time I watch a male UA-camr start to get into talking about manosphere type stuff, but I definitely breathed a sigh of relief today. More men need to be speaking out against that stuff. It's ridiculous nonsense and the people who take it seriously, specifically the ones that are already grown and use it to prey on the psyches of younger men and teenage boys, deserve to be mocked for it.
Married guy here, I know for sure its not E-bikes. My wife straight up mocks my hobby. She will call out old guys on rascal scooters and be like, Is that one of your riding buddies? Even my daughter gets involved. I think I'll go back to video games.
My wife and other women I dated initially liked that I play music. Eventually, they all got tired of my being away so many evenings to play. Like so many things, the idea of it is more glamorous than the reality. Fishing is a great hobby. You can provide food and solve puzzles with mother nature.
This is great life experience, and it doesnt just go for relationships. One of my friends at a pinball league I go to has commuted to NYC for 25 years now, and the charm of being in NYC has long worn off - he rarely travels into the city aside from commuting even though he lives right by the train in. I guess another way to look at this is that people and their needs change over time. Don't lets your hobbies define who you are, grow with them, or out of them if that's where life leads you.
Yes! But to be fair, a lot of these answers were total bs (like, my gurl, you ain't never kissed a man after he smoked a cigar if you think 'cigars' are unattractive. Them shits are delicious and refined and interesting and got history to em and all that shit. Cigarettes now though! thems NAAAAASTY, but again, that's not a hobby, it's an addiction
@@sarahgreen238 my wife has bad asthma which acts up around the smell, so I haven't smoked one since we got married. I personally don't care though, not like they were my hobby or passion lol. just saying, you calling a preference BS because you happen to be in the minority is just immature.
As a Frenchman who speaks Japanese with his children while teaching them the cello and the violin and who has a mostly cooking related youtube channel with his wife, this might be the most validating list I have ever seen.
I feel you bro, I just started learning woodworking and I already play four instruments (guitar included), I know German and I love reading! Just gotta learn to cook..
Why not both? You know you can do both right? Edit: All hobbies have something enjoyable, and you don't know if you'll like a hobby until you try it. Stop making excuses just because you want to stay in your corner, I know a lot of you don't like hearing that.
@@Shockguey If you like a hobby and that hobby happens to be attractive then all good, but if you're going to do a hobby that you don't like just cuz it might make you look attractive then don't do it, cuz it will make you look lame and desperate, and there is nothing that kills any kind of attraction someone might feel for you than looking desperate for attention, that is like the #1 thing to never ever do: looking desperate.
You are completely right! These lists should only be seen as entertainment. Don't try to be something you're not just so that others might see you differently. Embrace your interests and be authentic. That's the key. My girlfriend of 5 years now found it very attractive when I spoke about how I love modifying and riding motorcycles. She doesn't give a damn about motorcycles, but she loved seeing that I'm passionate about something.
you may start with superficial motivation, you can also grow to enjoy an activity and it will be genuine. motivating people to try positive things is good. the other side of it is, let's say i enjoy manosphere, now i know to keep that info private thanks to this vid.

16:17 Cooking is STOOPID EASY! It's literally like building Lego models except the Legos are food and the end result is something that you can eat instead of a model that sits on a shelf and needs dusting every week
@@Skyfalcon12345 to be fair its kinda like lego too. following the instruction books are easy but understanding how each brick works and seeing how other people used it and what they used it for is a matter of wanting to learn more. the learning part is usually not that hard and generally pretty straightforward. sure both are complex but both are defo not rocket science.
@@Skyfalcon12345yeah but this is also incredibly easy. Hmm I wonder if I add more garlic, it will taste more like garlic? Plus, it isn’t an obscure topic. All of us eat cooked food every single day. For whatever reason I read this as The Best Male Hobbits, according to women, and was very much prepared to spend my break learning whether women liked Bilbo or Frodo better lmao
As someone who cooks a lot, plays an instrument well, speaks two languages, and reads, WHERE TF ARE THESE WOMEN AT? And i'm 6'5 and rock climb, like what else do I need to do? In all seriousness tho, don't let these studies change who you are. just be yourself and women will legitimately find you attractive. You got this bro.
I bet all you need to do is find a way to put yourself out there. Hold yourself up with confidence but still look approachable. Besides that, its just a matter of when, so yeah like you were saying, just live your life 👍
Im seeing a small hot pixel in the left side of the screen 😭love the vids im so happy you didn't just stop uploading. Your a inspiration to me and seeing you happy makes my day ❤️
Shout out to reading! For real, I grew up as a guy with the mentality of "reading is lame/for losers" (like I know a lot of guys do) but decided to give it a try about 5 years ago after serious screen burn-out and its been game changing. Nothing beats having a beer outside on a beautiful day while buried into a great novel. If you're young and finding yourself anxious and unable to relax (like I was), give it a try. Find a nice place to unwind and start looking into stories that interest you. It really helped my mental state, and it might help yours too.
Honestly, James's challenge is just a great excuse for me to quit procrastinating on reading books I already own but have been too lazy to read. I used to read a ton as a kid.
Thiiiisss Is there genres or a couple of authors you particarly like? I found Maupassant to be amongst the best intro to litterature, short toughfull stories Steppenwolf, the alchemist, the old man and the sea, ball of fat, philosophy in the bedroom, the perfume and the time machine are all books that influenced who i am as a person
@@SubUwU509 I am also curious what genres MAVJ likes. But also even just reading manga or graphic novels would be more reading than most people do these days and would themselves be a step in the right direction. Some reading is better than none. Although for me personally, the books I read never really shaped me, unless you consider an atlas a book. Oh and I guess they do influence my tendency to think of big words first before a simpler word (just came back and added this after realizing I wrote "propensity" in the next sentence). I'm not some crazed "USA! USA!" chanting patriot despite my propensity to read Tom Clancy novels in my teens.
How about reading Wikipedia? I don’t read a lot of books now a days but i always finding myself getting into Wikipedia pages on different topic and just reading them even it’s quick.😂
This video is absolutely awesome because it clearly shows women trying to project hobbies they think society would look good at them for saying but aren't reflective of what they actually desire whatsoever. The hobbies women would want from their man are fitness and finance/investment. Athletes and wealthy men have always been desirable, but women think that will make them seem shallow so they throw in "read" at the top. Shows how much women prioritize their appearance in society that they'll pretend like they give a shit if I read George Orwell last night when they're always happier after you come home from the gym or with a thoughtful gift.
@@mariasol1545 The topic is usually handled with the love and care that your luggage gets on a spirit airlines flight. For the (usual) young men who feel disaffected, to be outright called an incel, evil or told to die/kill themselves (sadly I have seen it said many times) simply because they feel they dont fit in and found solace where they could is in no way constructive to dialogue. Of course some would get defensive about it. It also doesnt help that oftentimes regular people who are just trying to bring attention to the problem get lumped in with the the toxic and yes, often misogynistic "manosphere" people even if they often call out such people as bad actors.
@@fluppet2350 Meh, I kinda disagree with him. If the manosphere shit makes young men more confident and feel better about themselves, among other things, it really isn't that much of an issue. Sure, it's predatory, but if it's predatory while helping them at the end of the day it's five times better than the alternative. So long as it doesn't outright harm anyone else, which is really doesn't, it's not really a problem. And, from what I've seen, the guys that do buy into that generally seem happier and more confident in themselves, even if it turns women off or whatever.
@@Willy_Warmer This is just straight up wrong. The Manosphere is a bunch of grifters and only a thin layer of it is benevolent. It's mostly toxic bro culture that neither women nor men of actual culture want to be anywhere near. It's misogyny as a personality. It's for losers being preyed upon by sociopaths. Also, you obviously don't know ANYTHING about the topic, if you say it "really doesn't" harm anyone else. The manosphere is directly descended from pickup culture, which is *extremely* predatory.
What women SAY they are attracted to and what they actually respond to are always two completely different things. Never take a woman’s advise on what they find attractive.

It’s really great to see him get loose and be able to diversify! The Carhartt video was so cool, as someone who collects some of the modern Carhartt stuff and generally has brand loyalty to them it was cool to hear about the history and its legacy in other countries. And for the other guys to go to Big Time, too, they’re all (except for a few stragglers still on the sinking ship) spreading their wings and opening a new chapter. I’m so proud of their decisions and how they’re handling the changes, and I’m so happy that they seems to be fully enjoying what they’re doing now!

Some of my favorite quotes about reading: “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” - Margaret Fuller “Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world.” - Napoleon Bonaparte “To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of life.” - W. Somerset Maugham “Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries.” - Anne Herbert “Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.” - Virginia Woolf
My Guy! No lady wants a car seat in her living room. Is that rig setup in the garage, inside a car frame? I suspect that being able to fix anything is attractive. 'Being Handy' should DEF replace 'foreign languages'. "You want that barn door style everyone loves? DONE!" 1 - Reading (#1 was always going to be this. If you do this as a habit/hobby... you can attempt 2 to 10 at will without looking like a dummy) 2 - Cooking 3 - playing instrument well (harmonica does count and scores double points than any sort of brass) (playing it poorly, with Unearned Confidence? you might as well be clubbing with cigar smoking FUNKO's) 4 - woodworking(art+skill) 5 - being handy (helpful + shows dedication to her goals) 8? - Driving (being skilled, capable of navigating, and capable in all weather events. Earned Confidence) I guess we include sim racing in here? but I mean, this HAS to translate into real world skill or I don't think ladies rank this. But KNOWING she is safe if you are driving in a blizzard? During the rainy season? Off-road? That is earned confidence and is attractive. One I have found worked was - "Being able to tell a good anecdote on ANY subject" - like most on the top list, it is not only proof of intelligence, but help her meet her goals if you tag along to anything she is interested in. some of the best anecdotes? "Not all killings are murder - abortion, the price One must pay to kill, and its modern hypocritical discounts." "Morris Homer Erwin, the Worf, and the Perversion of Truth - nothing is real and your life is meaningless(sarcastic)" "People Taste Like Veal - William Seabrooke, the Most Interesting Man In The World, and his pursuit of journalistic integrity" (is true, we do taste like veal) "The World Is A Village - The Village Idiot and Redemption of Self to Benefit of the People." "Liberty of the Caste System - you are a lazy cvnt, shut your fat mouth. Proof by Newt Gingrich" "Shirley, You Must Have A Lawyer? - 'civil rights auditors' as masturbatory self gratification exercise. How corruption becomes p'graphy" "On The Creation of Language - Temba Wide-Arms and the kids who created emotional content in the written word... and the new r-tard'd kids" "Who Will Grow The Food?! - Why asking dumb questions disqualifies you from discussing Post-Capitalism." (because the answer is 'The People Who Want To') and my personal mission in life: to get Cap Anson kicked out of the Baseball HOF "Baseball Hall Of Fame: Barry Bonds IN or Cap Anson OUT. Why being a r'ist cvnt is still acceptable" Being able to entertain her friends, her colleagues, strangers she has to put up with for the night? Being able to tell a good anecdote is a skill you can practice... and get better at while also refining which category of anecdotes work best on her peoples. [holey fork shirt! TLDR... sorry folks]
I hope no one chooses their life's career based on what women find attractive, because there is something seriously wrong with that. Instead do what you think you will enjoy and be proud of....so that you are happier in life, and that will make you more attractive and less stressed out in the long run.
Reading makes so much sense, I sat at a coffee shop once reading a book and a girl sat next to me and starting chatting it up with me. She actually had a book too and was reading.
Well fuck me, I thought that only happened in romcoms. I've been sat anywhere and everywhere reading my books for over 2 decades (I hate being cooped up) and not once has anyone shown even a sliver of interest. Not that I care, since I tend to be engrossed in the story unfolding before my mind's eye, but still. Might as well have been invisible.

I do each and every one of these top five hobbies, - Woodworking making furniture - cooking most nights (I've got great reviews) - Play instruments, maybe not as consistent currently but play woodwinds - foreign languages, learning Scottish Gaelic and German - reading just got back into it this year making my way through several books on philosophy and history It's a small wonder why I'm still single, maybe it's because of my primary hobby/obsession is golf 😂
Basically, it says women aren't into guys whom.... -Spend money on stuff women don't care for... instead of them. -Could make more money--to spend on them--but don't. -Spend time on things that could be spent on them, or making more money. (To spend on them) -Show "obsessive" amounts of interest in things that they rather see spent on them, or that they may not care to do as much/often. -Doing things that destroy your health in ways that'll keep you from making more money. -Do things that suggest they may not invest--or have--that much interest in them overall. -Able to make things for them... like lots of money. -Able to "amuse" them in ways they like--such as spending money for things they like. -Making them look like make them look they're able to do better able to do better than other women... including their closest friends and family. I see a pattern here, and it's not for a dress she wants to wear. 😕
I haven't really checked out the content on this channel lately, but I think you're onto something with this style of content. I especially like the part you mentioned about men not having good role models or healthy conversations to participate in regarding how to be a man in 2024.
This was great! All top 3 most attractive hobbies are mine. And, i do a bit of woodworking, but not as much as a hobby. The one thing i DON'T do is cook, which my wife reluctantly gives me a pass on. Anyhow, this was my first episode and you do a great job! Thanks from a 61 year old guy up in Canada. P.S. I found it odd that exercise or staying somewhat fit wasn't on either list.
I’ve been in such a rut lately with my gf it feels like the spark is gone , but when I saw that cooking ,playing the guitar and reading are at the top of these list …all the things I did at the beginning of our relationship but got to busy to do …it all started to make sense 😅
My hobby is restoring and riding vintage motorcycles, playing music, and cooking. Met my girlfriend of 6 months through riding with friends while being single a while and having given up on dating apps. There’s hope out there gents. Just stop actively looking for something, get off dating apps, and live your life doing what you enjoy. When you stop caring about what others think, the world opens up in great ways. It may take a while, but that goes for anything good and worthwhile.
14:55 The first thing you’ll learn after talking to women about “what they want” is they have no f’in clue what they want. There is what they SAY they want, and then there is what what they ACTUALLY want. What they actually want are their desires and women are much more able to indulge those both from a social acceptance perspective and from an accessibility perspective. Bottom line, what women want and what they desire are two entirely different things.
I'm an amateur photographer and have tested during the years all kinds of photos from me. The only ones doing good are basically model-like photos, top-tier shots of a typical masculine man. - be extremely handsome to the point of basically being a model - show you do sports - show you have a great body (but only in clothes, fat biceps should be visible, broad shoulders etc) - typical V-taper - don't wear glasses, as this makes you seem genetically inferior - list your height if you're tall - have stereotype mal hobbies => car, motorcycle, fixing things, building stuff, hunting, etc. - show your wealth and status in a kind way, for example: you in gear in front of a combat jet - extreme hobbies cost ton of money: ride the buggy, do your AK shooting etc etc. Watch your matches shoot up 50x. The good-looking women out there will EXCLUSIVELY match the top 5 if not much lower percent of men, meaning for the average man: You better get rich fast boy, because if you don't, you won't stand a chance in the competition (if you really want to optimize your chances to the maximum possible). Second is: you better go to the gym. Women have exorbitantely high expectations of your body. They believe 3 years of consecutive training 3-5x in the week is "a little bit trained". Woman. That's probably a top 5% physique and over 85% of naturally attainable muscle-mass. There's a reason in the UK so many young guys nowaday hop on gear after not even a year of training. They all want their fair share of young, good-looking women and the ONS ONLY goes to the best-looking influencer-handsome men!

Love the channel. I’m happy James is looking healthy and happy. Btw. I 100% agree that these “man-o-sphere” characters online are preying on young man (teens) that are easily impressionable. My own nephew (16 yo) is going thru that. Constantly quoting cringy stuff and acting all “alpha male”. It’s very off-putting.
Young men need role models and if we are being honest, a break. There is a reason why this stuff popped up and it definitely is in big part to the other end of the manosphere spectrum. Most young men that get into that stuff are really just desperate and with some genuine effort, they will leave it.

@eduardomartin8510 stop trying to give people decent advice? Where did I say he was wrong in his evaluation of his appearance? Being unattractive isn't a death scentance for love dude. If anything it matters the least in any relationship that's worth fostering. It doesn't matter if you look like a model if you don't have good interpersonal skills or good character. That's a great recipe for having meaningless relationships with no real connection or depth. If all you want to do is sleep around the sure you're boned. But that's not where most people find happiness when they're honest with themselves. In fact it's usually the less attractive people in my life who have the best bonds with their partner because obviously their connection never had anything to do with appearance. When you fall that deep in love with someone they're beautiful to you in an entirely new and different way. Giving up hope just because you don't like what you see in the mirror is far more detrimental to your chances than just living life and meeting people along the way. I seriously can't see why this advice upset you so much as it's so non-specific. These are all general steps in finding good connections. Genuine love isn't found by looking, but feeling.

Most of that unattractive list can be sumed up as "addictions"
Lol I'm a woman and I thought the same damn thing - I swear people nowadays don't have an opinion about something until someone tells them what it should be (ie, there's a reason "playing an instrument" made on the "attractive" list and "playing in a garage band" didn't😂)
The fact that exercising isn't on either list is astonishing.
Shows they're not Very honest about it
Just for the (possibly younger) guys who may have clicked on the video because they're actually wondering what makes one attractive out there, please do note how all of the red flag hobbies include consumerism and/or an "get rich quick" attitude and the green ones are *skills* that take patience, diligence and prolonged effort and hard work to acquire. Those are the attractive qualities.
That's a really insightful analysis. In that vein it's also important to remember that attractive hobbies are only a part of the picture. As you alluded to, they are indicators to what your are like, but your character and personality are not outweighed by what you like to do.

The point of hobbies is to do what you enjoy not what others find attractive.

So long as it doesn't outright harm anyone else, which is really doesn't, it's not really a problem. Real talk, last thing young men need rn is to be sold 600$ courses on how to be a Chad
Still I see from reading the comments that he has a lot of misogynist followers unfortunately.
Less gross is still gross. Got it.
Yeah, i was actually shocked at how volatile his comments are despite his seemingly chill stance and attitude

LOL!!!! Pin worthy Underrated comment🤣🤣🤣
Why did this make me laugh so hard😂

Why are y'all pretending that this would be surprising? No shit Sherlock, everyone likes and dislikes different things. Like what did you expect?

Some of my favorite quotes about reading:
“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” - Margaret Fuller
“Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world.” - Napoleon Bonaparte
“To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of life.” - W. Somerset Maugham
“Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries.” - Anne Herbert
“Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.”
- Virginia Woolf
"Take a look. It's in a book." - Abraham Lincoln (probably)
tl;dr 😂
@@meatharbor "Let the man cook, lest the charm be took" - Tim Cook (probably)
Or, in short, "People with time to read probably don't work two jobs, meaning they have time or money to give women."
God damn I hope sim racing gets added one day in attractive hobbies update.
It’s def attractive for someone.
I love sim racing too much. 😅

I suspect that being able to fix anything is attractive. 'Being Handy' should DEF replace 'foreign languages'. "You want that barn door style everyone loves? DONE!"
1 - Reading (#1 was always going to be this. If you do this as a habit/hobby... you can attempt 2 to 10 at will without looking like a dummy)
2 - Cooking
3 - playing instrument well (harmonica does count and scores double points than any sort of brass) (playing it poorly, with Unearned Confidence? you might as well be clubbing with cigar smoking FUNKO's)
4 - woodworking(art+skill)
5 - being handy (helpful + shows dedication to her goals)
"Not all killings are murder - abortion, the price One must pay to kill, and its modern hypocritical discounts."
"Morris Homer Erwin, the Worf, and the Perversion of Truth - nothing is real and your life is meaningless(sarcastic)"
"People Taste Like Veal - William Seabrooke, the Most Interesting Man In The World, and his pursuit of journalistic integrity" (is true, we do taste like veal)
"The World Is A Village - The Village Idiot and Redemption of Self to Benefit of the People."
"Liberty of the Caste System - you are a lazy cvnt, shut your fat mouth. Proof by Newt Gingrich"
"Shirley, You Must Have A Lawyer? - 'civil rights auditors' as masturbatory self gratification exercise. How corruption becomes p'graphy"
"On The Creation of Language - Temba Wide-Arms and the kids who created emotional content in the written word... and the new r-tard'd kids"
"Who Will Grow The Food?! - Why asking dumb questions disqualifies you from discussing Post-Capitalism." (because the answer is 'The People Who Want To')
and my personal mission in life: to get Cap Anson kicked out of the Baseball HOF
"Baseball Hall Of Fame: Barry Bonds IN or Cap Anson OUT. Why being a r'ist cvnt is still acceptable"
Being able to entertain her friends, her colleagues, strangers she has to put up with for the night? Being able to tell a good anecdote is a skill you can practice... and get better at while also refining which category of anecdotes work best on her peoples.

Had the same experience. Then one day I worked up the nerve to give her my number. Never saw her again after that.
Shit, I can't read
Well fuck me, I thought that only happened in romcoms. I've been sat anywhere and everywhere reading my books for over 2 decades (I hate being cooped up) and not once has anyone shown even a sliver of interest. Not that I care, since I tend to be engrossed in the story unfolding before my mind's eye, but still. Might as well have been invisible.
it's funny because if you were reading the same book, that would literally be your first date
Manosphere makes so much sense, I sat at a coffee shop once reading a manosphere and a girl sat next to me and starting chatting it up with me. She actually had a manosphere too and was reading.
Learning a foreign language is totally a hobby. It takes effort, but so does working on your car. They just have different end goals. 1 is to go fast, the other is to communicate in another language!
BOOK CLUB!!!!
ok everybody give 3 good books (even you you James :P yes we would like to know)
mine:
The Perfectionists by Simon Winchester (history of precision engineering)
Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett (satire on modern policing)
Humble PI, by Matt Parker (what happens wehen you f up math)
3 good books for your consideration:
Khalil Ghibran - The Prophet
Nathaniel Philbrick - In the Heart of the Sea
Pearl S. Buck - The Good Earth
Got to know my future wife at a book club before dating, can confirm.
This proves how good James is at being a journalist cause I would never think he would do a video about such topic yet he aced it, Much love from Iraq James
I haven't been paying much attention to your channel but this was wholesome. Especially the positive message to young dudes ... You could actually make a difference.
My father-in-law’s hobbies are languages. Including dead languages. He ended up being the top translator for “No Such Agency” during the cold war.
that's sick
I do each and every one of these top five hobbies,
- Woodworking making furniture
- cooking most nights (I've got great reviews)
- Play instruments, maybe not as consistent currently but play woodwinds
- foreign languages, learning Scottish Gaelic and German
- reading just got back into it this year making my way through several books on philosophy and history
It's a small wonder why I'm still single, maybe it's because of my primary hobby/obsession is golf 😂

Basically, it says women aren't into guys whom....
-Spend money on stuff women don't care for... instead of them.
-Could make more money--to spend on them--but don't.
-Spend time on things that could be spent on them, or making more money. (To spend on them)
-Show "obsessive" amounts of interest in things that they rather see spent on them, or that they may not care to do as much/often.
James talking about reading books just before showing that reading is most attractive, and not capitalizing on that fact. what a humble dude.
I haven't really checked out the content on this channel lately, but I think you're onto something with this style of content.
I especially like the part you mentioned about men not having good role models or healthy conversations to participate in regarding how to be a man in 2024.
I love that there are no constraints on subject matter anymore and James can just talk about whatever he feels like since it's his channel

No Patrick, Mayonnaise is not an instrument 🦑
My hobby is restoring and riding vintage motorcycles, playing music, and cooking. Met my girlfriend of 6 months through riding with friends while being single a while and having given up on dating apps. There’s hope out there gents. Just stop actively looking for something, get off dating apps, and live your life doing what you enjoy. When you stop caring about what others think, the world opens up in great ways. It may take a while, but that goes for anything good and worthwhile.
Fart smelling wasn't on either list, so it's safe to assume that hobby is middle ground.
The Dutch Oven should, therefore, be a compulsory sleepover-date tester 😂
Thank God we can continue our fart smelling hobby in peace!
The fact you have a Donut mic on the Speeed Channel is kewl
14:55 The first thing you’ll learn after talking to women about “what they want” is they have no f’in clue what they want. There is what they SAY they want, and then there is what what they ACTUALLY want. What they actually want are their desires and women are much more able to indulge those both from a social acceptance perspective and from an accessibility perspective. Bottom line, what women want and what they desire are two entirely different things.
I'm an amateur photographer and have tested during the years all kinds of photos from me. The only ones doing good are basically model-like photos, top-tier shots of a typical masculine man.
- be extremely handsome to the point of basically being a model
- show you do sports
- show you have a great body (but only in clothes, fat biceps should be visible, broad shoulders etc) - typical V-taper
- don't wear glasses, as this makes you seem genetically inferior
- list your height if you're tall
- have stereotype mal hobbies => car, motorcycle, fixing things, building stuff, hunting, etc.
- show your wealth and status in a kind way, for example: you in gear in front of a combat jet
- extreme hobbies cost ton of money: ride the buggy, do your AK shooting etc etc.
Watch your matches shoot up 50x. The good-looking women out there will EXCLUSIVELY match the top 5 if not much lower percent of men, meaning for the average man:
You better get rich fast boy, because if you don't, you won't stand a chance in the competition (if you really want to optimize your chances to the maximum possible).

I'm gonna keep it a buck fifty with you man, the way you broke down the manosphere was by far one of the best takes I've heard on the subject. Thank you for speaking on that + I'm really glad to see it as one of Speeed's founding principles!

Yeah, as an ignored male, it made me feel acknowledged to not be derided for being unattractive because culture is specifying that I'm unattractive. I make $150k and I'm trying, but no one smiles at me.
@@ACiDGRiM personality first big guy. Often it's simply that you're ego isn't being put in check. Try counseling, you'll probably hear some hard truths but running from your problems or not accepting them will only make life harder. Nothing worth achieving is easy, even achieving a better state of mind. I mean no harm by my words and I only desire for everyone to live a life they love. If it means sacrificing in other areas of life it's up to you to make those calls because you'll be the person you want to be regardless of what you say, it's what you work towards being that defines you.
@@zenkoz3158 Stop. He may actually have a point and you don't even know the guy. What he is stating is a real state of being for some people, some people are, in fact, bad looking. He could be wrong and maybe he is just fine but he could also be right. Their life experience COULD be different from yours and this has been proven in studies. Other than that, yeah counselling might help to have a better way to deal with life.
