I didn't think I'd enjoy V Rising as much as I did. I was definitely addicted to it during those 2 weeks. What I realized towards the end is, I don't think I encountered a bug. A well polished game. I can't wait to jump into the live servers and make my castle the sexiest while raging in pvp. ♥I LOVE YOU ADRIAN!!!!♥
Congrats on landing a sponsorship! I bought V Rising in EA and I bought one of the cosmetic support packs. I've played about 40 hours and never had a bug. Its a polished game with a great art style. And yes the building is super addictive.
Excited for this release. Been following the game since EA launch & played a bit a while back. Looks like it’s improved a lot. Great video. Much appreciated.
I played this before till he end(at the time) and I remember it being really good with a few minor gripes. Guess, its time to grab ppl, the blood is back on the menu.
@@sawmanUK The real pain is when you are either new on old server or alone. As there's no winning any fights/encounters, and even running is often not an option. But its really good when the gap is not too big.
There is a lot of good that can be said about Vrising. Fun, competitive and well polished. Unfortunately the gameplay loop only lasts a few weeks and the way the servers work, they usually drop population to just a few within a few days.
Man, gotta come back to this game, got it years back played a bit, but friends kinda gave up, so I lost interest. Having guns is new, want to check that out for sure.
@@sawmanUK An MMO is a large space for several thousands to play simultaneously, in its own servers. Games like WoW, GW2, FFXIV and ESO where the server limit is in the hundreds of thousands are all MMOs. MMOs are always online and even if you opt to play alone there will always be other people in the world around you. VRising is just an online game with barely a fraction of a server capacity to match MMOs, it has the ability to play offline, and the servers are hosted by players. In essence VRising is no different from something like GMod in that regard. But again, great video, was just pointing out the error at the beginning. 👍
@@lj_aderyn I love this debate, so im not being argumentative on purpose, its just that when it comes to mmos, the meaning is so broad. The games you listed, i would say are mmorpgs, i agree with the sentiment that an mmo should be 1000's of players, but realistically, games like Destiny are a mmo... which has 6 player instances and a player hub for like 100 players if that. Palia, is the same and fallout 76 is somehow an mmo with 24 players on a server... so for me, i would say v rising is an mmo because its 60 players all at once, on the same server with a rpg aspect. It's not a traditional mmorpg but if you look at the list of other games that are certified mmos, this one certainly deserves the tag given its wider scope. But i get why its seen as a talking point :D
@@lj_aderyn I would argue that what makes an MMO an MMO is the community interaction. You could have a huge open world with 200 people in it that you never see and while it has the potential to be an MMO, it fails when there are no people to engage with. Conversely, you can have a relatively small area with a 60 people that you run into all the time and it feels like there is much more of a community. Finally, you can have sharded MMO's where people pop in and out of server layers. I think that this sort of MMO is worse because most of the people you encounter you will never see again so it isn't really worth the effort to engage with them.
Okay there are a good amount of memes in the video, pretty solid honestly... But I STILL stand strong on my opinion that there isn't enough memes in this video!
@@sawmanUK i commented during and while watching the live stream, i know i don't have a chance to win the key, still on the fence about the game, too bad it doesn't have a demo or couple hours of trial try out good video and live stream, keep up the good work👍
This isn't really an MMO unfortunately because of only player cap of 60 per server. I wish they had server meshing or something, because then I might actually be interested
I tried it out and found it boring and sloggy. Way too much crafting and looting. Combat felt weak. Movement doesn’t feel good. AI was super dumb. Hard to know where skills go as there’s no forward looking into skills.
Thats fair enough, personally i like the gameloop at the minute, ive been playing on brutal and honestly the combat is a lot more in depth because of it
@@sawmanUK If the definition of "massive" is 60 people, okay then. Official definition of "massive" is "exceptionally large". But I guess everything is relative. Keep up the good work, looking forward to your next ESO video.
@@sawmanUK Albion because I don't have to start on a brand new character every 3 days cause the server died. Congrats on the sponsorship! I'm looking forward to your PVP video when the game goes live - the game looked polished and the video was great, cheers.
Yea, I may need to make another video just for PVP

Actually looks pretty good & always nice when there is controller support for a game!
Controller Gang rise up!
V rising is just incredible. Great game to experience
Looks like a vampire project zomboid but without the jank and 400 mods that end up on zomboid
So you are saying I should try Project Zomboid next?
Also its similar to Valheim and diablo @@sawmanUK

This has been a fun game so far.
Game looks really promising ngl
Only 2 active skill slots is a deal-breaker.

V rising is not an mmo. It's an online survival game like Ark.
so you can have 100 players on one server..... is that not a mmo? I would say thats pretty massive and multiplayer
