To me, you never come across as ungrateful. You’re realistic and the fact you share the realities of life normalises how everyone’s experiences are different. The fact you share what others might consider ‘small’ issues as being a bit of a low point will 100% help someone out there who feels terrible for feelings down about similar things.

Thank you! That’s how I look at it, as well! Sometimes the low point to our weeks are really bad and other times it’s really just a minor inconvenience, but we all experience both! Thanks for understanding.

Whoever said youre ungrateful must be new and not watch your channel often. I really wish people would stop acting like people are being ungrateful when they mention theyre adjusting to a change. Just because someone else’s challenges are bigger than yours, that doesn’t mean yours don’t count! If it feels challenging, it is, and your feelings are valid. As a teacher, I love and adore my summer break, but the abrupt change in routine knocks me off balance, too.
I really enjoyed your video! I'm so glad I found you! I am in a different season of life, with a son with one more semester of college and a daughter who is driving now at 16. There is really something to say about feeling calm, and that life is all of a sudden different. You've dealt with things like you have gone through with trying to have babies. I definitely remember feeling that things were just simple and good. it felt so nice. It feels normal.

Hi Jamie, so glad to hear your voice again! Brynn is in Costa Rica for a Spanish trip with school, so I've been going crazy; I've never been away from her for this long! I had my niece's graduation party this weekend, so I didn't get my regular cleaning done and I'm feeling it this week. I can't wait to get back to it! It's so calming for me to get everything done. The scrubbing and vacuuming and buffing....ahhhh :D I have a lot of planting in my garden to do, too. I have NOTHING planned this weekend so I can clean and I'm so excited hahahaha!

I completely understand that feeling of contentment. I was in fight or flight mode for about 20 years, I always had that "something's gotta give" feeling. The feeling of contentment that comes when like fe finally gets quite is blissful. I'm glad life is quieter for you now. Also, when changes happen in life, a new job, kids getting out of school, finding new routines is hard and those hiccups are frustrating. It's possible to be grateful for change and still struggle with the impact of the change.

Hey Jamie! Me and my toddler son love to snuggle up on the couch and watch your videos together. He loves helping me when im cleaning which is so cute.
Ps have you ever thought of using a waterproof mattress protector? It saves your mattress from any spills and keeps it clean. And then you dont have to clean the mattress that often. I have the same waterproof protection for my pillows and have noticed such a big difference in keeping my pillows fresh and clean.

It’s amazing how someone takes an innocent comment and twists it. Some people are naturally negative and thrive with conflict. That’s miserable! I appreciate your channel more than you know. I knew exactly what you meant by being in that place where you’ve achieved your goals in life and now you can enjoy to the fullest! The husband and I met at 48 and 40 years old and next year once we get our own home we will be saving for retirement. Cannot wait to get there! Til then enjoying the journey. ❤

Hi Jamie. may I recommend, for the stainless steel I use powdered Tide mixed with some water. lighly scrub the stainless steel appliances with the mixture using the soft side of dish sponge and that i wipe them off with a stainless steel cloth and just tap water. works wonders for me, my mom used to clean all stainless steel like this when I was little, always had shiny appliances in our home 🥰 all the best from Canada

You're so precious. You genuinely care about your viewers and making sure you never come across as ungrateful. You are so humble and sweet, and I love your content. Anyone that watches you regularly knows that you're never ungrateful or mean to sound that way. Anyone that's had their spouse primarily at home and then that suddenly changes would have to find their new normal. I don't see how that makes you ungrateful that he has a job. It's simply a change in your routine/life that you're working through to make work for you. Some might relate to that and appreciate hearing that they are not alone. I know that I would be completely lost if my husband suddenly started working outside of our home. He is our glue, and he makes everything run smoothly. Working through change doesn't equate to being an ingrate.

Okay, a few things here.
1. Anyone who thinks you ungrateful or anything in that neighborhood for even one second does not know you even a little. I’ve been watching your videos for years, I’ve chatted with you on IG, and 100% you’re a sweetheart. Your heart is in the right place, always, and if people can’t see that it’s because they are looking for reasons to be offended and pick at someone. You are always trying to make sure people understand you are grateful, only speaking from your own point of view about what you know or have heard from others, and don’t want to hurt anyone, which is far more than you are obligated to do. The fact that you do that at all shows how much you care. There is a reason you’re among the only content creators I come back to year after year.
2. You are allowed to have honest reactions to changes in your life! You’re allowed to talk about how those changes make you feel! You’re a person, and all people experience emotions in reaction to changes, good or bad or neutral. No one should even try to make you feel like you’ve done something wrong for doing so.
3. Your relationship with Mike is honestly an inspiration. I know life and relationships are not always butterflies and rainbows and pots of gold, but you two have such a sweet partnership. I’m about to get remarried, and I hope that this marriage can be something like yours in specific ways, like the love, respect, helpfulness, and partnership that is so evident between you and Mike. What a blessing that you two found each other so early in life!

Great video missed seeing a video last weekend but understand .Glad you had a good break with your husband and kids. Would love to see you clean the coils on the back of your Refrigerator and also cleaning behind your washer and dryer . I agree the baby times are consuming and fascinating. I am looking forward to my granddaughter becoming more independent. Now that it is summer I don’t get her everyday but mom has agreed I can have her two days a week. On Saturday I put together a little kitchen for her room, it took me 14 hours(my mind does not work that way) but it is gorgeous and I can’t wait for her to see it, today I am going through my toy collection for food and dishes.
Jamie, I never think you are complaining, change is difficult for everyone, you don’t just roll through it. You and Mike have worked hard to achieve all that you have to give your family a good life, something to be proud of.
