Jamie; both of my daughter are living with a very rare and very serious brain disease (Batten Disease). It can be so easy for me to get sad and let my home go. Watching your videos each week helps to motivate and get me started. There is so little we do have control over; but we CAN create clean and organized spaces for ourselves and those we love. Thank you Jamie! I am also thinking of you as remember your loved one who has passed. Praying for both of your family members facing surgery.
Oh my gosh you have no idea how much this means to me & you are SO right! We do have very little control over a lot in our lives but we can control the state of our homes. I think that's why I also the same for me. So much of life in general is out of our control and I feel IN CONTROL when I can keep my house picked up. Ive had quite the week. Long story short...I was on antibiotics last month for strep throat. Then last week, I got c-diff from the antibiotics and due to the infection, my autoimmune disease relapsed. So, I was admitted to the hospital...I was a patient on the same unit I am a nurse on...lol. i have been home recovering but it's been a lot......luckily I have a lot of family and friends to help....i was happy to see your video!

Because I had taken antibiotics a few weeks prior and they were very common ones that cause c-diff......
Ty. Because I was on antibiotics 2 weeks ago. Then a week later 4 days of painful/cramps diarrhea. Yellow too.

Jamie, it’s so nice to see you even if it is for cleaning. You do such a good job for your family. I will have your mom in my prayers. I recently lost Mr Speckles, he was my daughter’s dog but he stayed with us a lot. The mail lady ran over him. Just this Friday, I lost my best friend. She was 16 yrs older than me but we had a great relationship. The way I feel are feelings of grieving.

So sorry for the loss of your loved one! Birthdays, holidays and the anniversaries are the hardest because it's so bittersweet! I feel like that with my mom. Her birthday was on the 11th and I get such a mixed bag of sadness yet joy on that day. Sad because she is not here but joy at some of the great memories I can look back on now and smile. I'm so glad you and Mike had fun in GA!! I have a bottle of that Pink Stuff cleaner. You gave me a great idea with using it for my shoes because even before you washed them, it got your sneakers pretty clean!! Have a great week ahead!!

Hi Jamie!! I have to say I TRULY think your skin issues is due to the climate. Dry winters and spring before the humidity hits can cause a lot of problems for a lot of people. Its a true testament that if your Georgia trip got rid of the patches.....its dry in your house. Maybe a furnace humidifier would help
