As a mom of grown kids I totally get what you're saying. I take great pleasure in watching my children BE ADULTS. And see all of my sacrifice and efforts come to fruition. I've been where you are. The best is yet to come girl. Great video. And now I'm going to go clean my car. ❤❤❤

I also have adult kids, 31 and 33. Both have college degrees, great jobs and are just fun to be around! I’m so proud of all of their accomplishments. It is bittersweet though when I come across pictures of when they were little. 🥺
I love how transparent you are about motherhood. It gives so many people validation that how they’re feeling is normal. I totally relate to the age thing for sure! When they get older they become little buddies and are so helpful. There’s a big age gap between my last baby and my first two(4 years for middle and 6 years for oldest) and people thought I was crazy for doing that, but it made life so much easier having older two kids that wanted to be involved with the baby and help and they were old enough to not constantly need anything while the baby was also needing all the attention. I missed asking a question for the Q&A, but will for sure participate in the next one! I love those! Now I’m off to deep clean my car 😂
Even though it was hard to film I really enjoyed the car cleaning. Thanks for the q & a. I feel the same way about being fully capable of taking care of myself but it is nice to have someone to take care of you and help with the kids! Our youngest is 17 but our 19 y/o is in a wheelchair full time and I am his caregiver. My husband will work a full day and still come home and do whatever he needs to make sure I am taken care of too.

Good Morning Jamie & Mike! Love the Q&A! It’s always fun when you have Mike on. You guys are so good together and I love how you support each other. I agree with you Jamie! I always liked the older ages too. If they need something or not feeling well they can tell you. I loved seeing their personalities develop and just being able to jump in the car and go wherever you need to without packing up the house to do so. Lol! I love babies but I did like the older better.

I agree whole heartedly with you regarding feeling like a better "older" kids mom... Newborn stage was the hardest for me, even though I loved the snuggles it was hard! I absolutely love seeing my 2 year olds personality and humor come out... and finding his likes & dislikes 🤍 So special!

I got sick with the flu and then it turned into a chest infection so I’ve been sick for two weeks feeling like absolute rubbish and not being able to do anything! I finally went back to work today and it was honestly so bad, everything was going wrong and I felt horrible so I decided to put on your video and lay in bed for a while as that always helps me feel a little better. So thank you for your videos Jamie! I’m going to try and tackle a bit of housework tomorrow after work and try not to beat myself up too much if I don’t get it all done 🥲

Hi, you both, I totally get what you're saying about Mike taking care of you and the girls. I can definitely take care of myself and my grandsons by myself, but my husband took excellent and very loving care for us when he was alive. Totally agree with you about being an older kid mom. My only child just turned 18 and he leaves for college soon and honestly I enjoy him so much! Jamie, I am so happy to see you use the attachments, I purchased them and don't have a clue what to use them on. Thank you for showing at least one and what it can be used for, now I have figure out what else they can be used for. ♥ I have always like to clean the house by myself, the kids ( mine are all grown up now) would make things messier or took too long, so I ended up just doing it myself, my way lolol. S I get it. ♥

I’m just tuning back in. We moved in May and we are starting a homestead, I’ve been so overwhelmed with chickens, and pigs and lawn/land work plus remodeling 🙃 so much change in so little time . Completely agree Jamie with being a better "older age child" mama, I am too. Let me tell you I have a 20 and 16 year old daughters and 11 year old son and it gets so much better I do miss the activity stage but I love joking around with them and our car chats and just seeing their different personalities it's so wonderful, you will continue to love them getting older I am sure about that 😊 also I hate cleaning the car and I need that motivation big time so thank you for your time and effort to motivate me ❤

I just recently did a deep clean on the inside of my car as well, and yes, sooo satisfying.
I use the Turtle wax upholstery cleaner and really like it. I also use the Turtle wax surface and glass cleaner, and it works amazing on your windows, no streaks, and it doesn't leave your interior vinyl greasy or shiny, just clean.

I can’t believe I caught this video early. I actually have a scrapbook weekend and it’s helping me to be productive. Your right Jamie, some days I kinda want my husband and grown son to go out of my way so…I can do certain things on my own, especially when it comes to only lifting certain things and doing things on my own. Can’t lift certain things or do certain things on my own because of a pinched nerve in lower back. Something that’ll never go away.

Jamie I so enjoyed this video. I had 3 children under 5 when I was 22. Our home was hectic!! I loved every minute of it. With my husband and I being so young we always joked we were growing up with them. I loved it all I think. We always had a full house every weekend. It stayed that way until after graduation. We lost our son when he was 19. He was our youngest. He and his sister had a car accident. She was critically injured and suffered some brain damage. We then became our grandson's parents. I put everything I had in him after that. Jamie just enjoy your kids the way you are. Our children are parts of us and I'm sure they are enjoying this age they are now as well. Just love them like you are and it shows them how much you love them. I loved the q&a. I think you two should do one more often. I've been listening while I was painting today. I'm definitely checking out the stuff for the car! 😗

Love the baby oil tip for stainless steel appliances! Funny, my dishwasher is the only appliance that doesn't streak while the fridge, oven and microwave all have wipe marks. Gonna have to try your method because those streaks drive me bonkers!!

Love you guys too ok Jaimie ive cleaned my car now lol i live on a gravel road so its always dusty or muddy if it rains I always hose the mud off when it starts to dry off to prevent rust the dust drives me nuts though sitting in the sun atm trying to thaw out very frosty here this morning i hate cold heading to 24c got the wood fire cranking but im still cold had a quiet weekend gave myself the time off so back at it today once i can feel my toes enjoy your week xxx

Wow, your hard floors are so clean that the dirty water from the bucket was not dirty at all!!! I really admire you. We are considering purchasing a new house which is much bigger than our current one, with a lot of floor paneling and spacious carpeted- a bit like at yours. I'll need to work out how to tackle all of these floors to maintain them clean!
I was kind of surprised at how not dirty the water was too!😂 I think it’s bc I run our robot mop a lot, so that helps

Mainly chicken for the air fryer! And I don’t mop everyday! I physically mop 2-3 times a week but run my robot mops about 3 times a week

I just purchased a new GE dishwasher with the upgraded no fingerprint stainless steel. Our booklet said to not use stainless steel cleaner because it would strip that coating off and could result in a blue tint. Not sure if you have that same dishwasher or not. Thank you for your cleaning motivation and your kindness. 😃
