- After our first test of the Polaris Scrambler S 1000 from July 2019, we have received a test unit for a battery of special tests and comparisons. In this video Contributing Editor and Test Rider Chad Westcott does a walk around on the Scrambler S, providing his first up close impressions of the machine. Look for Chad's on the Scrambler S, coming soon to ATV on Demand.

Great walk around from a true buyer’s perspective. I also noticed a fire pit and not one hotdog or marshmallow, but that’s me being too observant.
I eat before I turn the camera on... And then again when I turn it off..
Chad from ATV&UTVOnDemand!
It would only make sense to incorporate a slo mo of an Uncrustable being devoured.
@@flyingbriando5521 Sounds too hot for t.v.!! 🤣🤣🤣
Been waiting so long for this...Finally
We hope you stick around for the series!
@@dirtobsexxionvlogs4892 Yup! I've been wanting outside so much to ride my ATV and by a RZR, I will defiantly stay for the series!
Scrambler power and great video thanks 👍 👍 👍
Great review! I always have valued Chad's opinions and thoughts on ATVs
Thanks brother!! We can't to get to testing this thing!
@@dirtobsexxionvlogs4892 Im ready to see you run it!
Nicely done Chad!
Thanks Q!
Bro Polaris really just made a quad that looks like a damn fighter jet this thing is a menace i want to buy one of these quads to show off to my friends for no apparent reason
Riding it is pretty fun too.
I think Polaris should have put a small LED bar just under the " Storm Trooper Helmet" steering post cover, to be more useful for night time trail riding! For what I use my quads for, the Sportsman 1000S makes more sense with the added storage and more utility focus. Sportsman has better looks to boot! I can't wait to see you tear it up on the trails, been waiting for a "real World" review on this! Not a bad machine though, great review as usual bud :-)
Thanks Papa! We think a lot of people feel that way, this is definitely a niche machine but it's very cool! We can't wait to get it out and see how it does in the woods!
I wish they would just bring back the Outlaw 525 IRS!!! Cheaper, smaller, faster
Ummmmmm YEAH!
You sir are a genius...daddy needs something with a clutch!
Would love to see that come back.
I agree!
I have a 2018 outlander xxc 1000r.. I have a friend with a outlaw 525 an another with a raptor 700.. dead stop drag races I win everytime.. both have exhaust an programmer.. I have factory exhaust but reflashed ecu... all are stock other than that..I dont seen the outlaw beating the scrambler unless that extra size an weight slows it down, polaris should have upped the hp with the size increase..
thats why i love atvondemand
I think they are wicked looking machines...
Great job Chad.. 👍
Reviews should be interesting..👍
Thanks Doc!
I could smell that campfire through my phone dude😏😏😏
2nd only to the smell of 2strokes! 🔥🔥🔥
Cool
Can’t wait to see the
Shootout videos
The series of comparison videos that we are going to do aren't going to be score system driven. They will be more like writing two machines back-to-back and giving seat-of-the-pants feedback on how they differ. We think they'll be pretty entertaining with lots of good information. Hope you enjoy.
Can’t wait to see thanks for the reply
Hell ya it's so ugly ! 😅 Great walk around! Nice Vid! #atvpassion
Haha! Thanks! It's pretty exciting for sure!
Can't wait to see what you guys race that S against 😉
I better see you boys send this thing...
We'll try to make you proud B!
@atvondemand I'm loveing that 2020 scrambler they change that thing round specially with the exhausted an handlebars an stuff any engine replacement or upgrades?
It's a very cool machine! The engine is the same 952cc ProStar.. the most significant upgrades over the old scrambler, is the beefed-up transmission, RZR S 1000 front diff, and stronger chasis..
That is alot of 4-wheeler. May be an Ace thing🤷🏼♂️. Good info on it!
Thanks little man! It is a lot of 4wheeler, should make for some interesting comparisons!
So I know this is a little off topic but I own a Yamaha Warrior 350. I was wondering if you could do a review on it or do one on the raptor 350. I know it’s old but I want to see your guys opinion.
We would love to review that machine. We have another vintage test that we are currently working on and we are beginning to look for sponsors for our Classics test series. If memory serves correctly that is the number one selling sport ATV of all-time in definitely worth a review. I bought one brand new in 96 and by the time I was done nearly every part was aftermarket. It had a 430cc bore and stroke kit from powroll. Miss that quite a lot.
Yeah. That’s cool
My first ATV was the 89 Warrior.. Awesome!
Any more updates on new Kawasaki atvs or any new news about the sport quad industry coming back?
News is slow right now on account of the Pandemic.. But we will waste no time getting the information out when we hear something from Kawasaki.. We're also working some angles to get some solid sport content. We take every opportunity to preach the need for affordable sport machines to anyone who will listen.. We think our Raptor 700 review approaching 1 million views and our Raptor vs YFZ at 2 million is good fuel for that fire!
Chad from ATV&UTVOnDemand! Thanks for getting back to me! I agree with your approach and look forward to the content. I think if anyone can put together a 20-30 minute video about the history of sport atvs with small segments of reviews of the top 450s and 700s would be another way of getting people hyped to come back. Sometimes nostalgia can really weigh in on the wallets 🤔🤗
Let me know what you think! Again, can’t wait to see what you guys come up with. I miss sports quads and what they did for us as kids. Riding kept us kids out of trouble and gave us a fun memories.
Yes bring that thing to Alabama and we will RIP at some of my local riding parks, there's one place that has trails that 55 will not go. And those center caps, I broke one the first time I got on my Sportsman XP 1000 in my back yard.
Alabama huh? Y'all got some decent ride areas?
@@dirtobsexxionvlogs4892 yes there is a lot Stoney Lonesome , Top Trail, Hawk Pride is just to a few big one and The Ridge is small but I like it and it's close and the tails are one way so you can go crazy and the trails are named like Organ Donor, Spinal Tap,Death Valley and my favorite is Scar Face.
The new atv park in Piedmont Alabama. Is supposed to be really good too. It's called Indian trails they say it double the size of top trails.
Hope you know how to change the belt..
Sure can.. We don't anticipate failure though, Polaris clutching is very smooth. If it's not abused the belt should last thousands of miles. Suppose we'll find out soon..
How do you use the new 4x4 swich?
It's a slide button that engages AWD. Easy to reach with your right thumb with your hand on the bars.
Are you the same guy from dirt obsession
No that's my fat evil twin brother.. Haha! Yes, I started working for ATVonDemand last summer! It's awesome to be working with the number one ATV media publication!
That's awesome man I thought I recognized The Voice.
Congrats on the gig keep up the good content
Is anyone else getting something went wrong around the halfway point? On IPhone
Can you be more specific?
Wow that cvt exhaust is in a horrible position. You know when you splash into a big water hole, water is going to go down in there and there goes your belt.
We thought they could angle it differently, but water shouldn't be as much of an issue as it may seem.. When the clutch is spinning, quite a bit of air will be forced out the exhaust which will make it harder for water and dust to enter. CVT exhausts have been under the rear rack on Sportsmans and Scramblers for a long time, and seem more vulnerable than they actually are.. This one is just much more visible than on past designs.. We don't expect it to be a performance issue, but we'll find out.
Walk around is great just hear him breathing too much
Right you are. We will be aware of it next time.
Send me a barring carrier and a barring set for. 2003 Honda trx 400 ex..plz I want to go ripping and start a moto vlog I just got a GoPro..T0a0r0 caslan AB Canada box 175...
It's a badass kind of ugly
LOL
It going to be a flop no one will buy it a few will but that's it waste of time Polaris the sportsman 1000 s will do ok but this is a flop
If Can-Am comes out with a 55 in wide ATV will you feel the same way?
@@ATVonDemand no nothing wrong with 55 inch its the scrambler that won't sell is what I said the sportsman will be a good seller and you about can am I have owned more Polaris quads then I have can am I'll buy anything
ps how is flying Bryan doing with the sport quad I love it man 😎
It's a very cool machine, I hope they sell well.. Manufacturers need incentives to go out on a limb and try something like this... Polaris is an innovator in the industry. We're glad they put out a unique ATV..
@@canamdennis6829 right on. Just curious if your beef was the width or the brand.
