There's a paladin mod out now where Tav can pick their deity from level 1. There's also a Shar mod, so your Tav can be a Paladin of Shar from level 1 as well. I noticed being a follower of Shar actually triggers special dialogue options throughout the game, especially unique Shadowheart dialogue.
Shar cleric tav was scrapped super later on, you'll get unique dialogues until ACT3 and shart will have unique lines like "We'll become Dark Justiciars" if you're both cleric of shar, Out of all the scrapped stuff i don't know why that made the list

What I do requires a bit more time, but works just as well and won't require to turn the Zentharim at the hideout hostile: Deliver the strongbox (unopened) to the female leader in the Zenth hideout. She'll reward you with the crossbow and grant you access to their good wares. Later on in Act III, free Minsc. While you're at it you might also want to kill the Moonglow-chick before she can run away for the 10k GP Minsc stole from the bank and some nice items from her trader inventory. Next head to the Thieves' Guild and help Nine-Fingers against the Zenth who are trying to take over. Kill all the hostiles in that fight and one of the Zenth present will have the lockbox on her as loot. It will still be sealed with the flask inside.

You can get the flask & still get Harold crossbow. You complete the mission by bring the chest to Zarys. Then in the 3rd act in Baldur's Gate, you can pickpocket the flask off of Zarys.
Shadow-Whiskers can actually be freed before going up to Dribbles. Talk to her, do the persuasion check, but don't lock her in the cage. Honestly suprised me as I never played paladin in early access and don't really know why they removed this feature as it makes you're character feel more personalised.
Regarding deities, there’s also content for removed gods including Shar, the Dead 3 and I think Jergal. There are mods that add the tags back in and Ketheric and Balthazar had some interesting dialogue for my Cleric of Myrkul
If you are a Paladin/Cleric of Eilistraee, during the end of Save Mayrina quest you have the option to say a prayer for her late husband and you get two options. One is Paladin of Eilistraee which is quite unique and flavorful and the other is Cleric of Eilistraee which is a normal prayer.
I just did the "Missing Shipment" and got everything including the reward crossbow. This is how: Before ever entering the Zhent hideout, save the guys guarding the chest. The best way to do this is to ambush the Knols outside the cave entrance from the cliff up above- they will all attack you and leave the two men alone. Then, talk to the men and get an invite to the hideout, don't threaten them or make demands. Then, send a rouge into the cave and steal the chest without getting caught- DO NOT open it. Now, go to the hideout carrying the chest, you don't need to rest. Ollie will be dead and Rugen will be getting beaten. Talk to Zharis she'll give you a gold reward AND there will be an option to give her the chest. Do so, the quest will complete and she will give you the crossbow reward and open the trader. Now, without leaving or resting, go to Bren (the trader) you are going to have to kill him so buy or steal everything you want from him. Then attack and kill Zharis, she will have the shipment chest you just gave her on her body. Now you can kill all the Zhent thieves for their loot and XP. Also, if you go to the chair and set Rugen free he will thank you. Note: you have to do it this way in this order. If you go to Zharis and get the quest first, and then go get the chest and give it to her and kill her, the chest will not be on her body.
Though I think if you convince Rugen to let you take the chest and pass a couple of dialogue checks, Zharis will tell you to kill Rugen but let you live (and let you buy the stuff), and she will task you with delivering the chest to Baldurs Gate personally.
@@roax206Then you can just keep the chest... That would be cool. I haven't tried that because I hear that you don't get anything for delivering it, and I want the XP from killing all the Zhent.

about the flask in the chest on the zenth hideout, is that if u deliver the chest after killing the guys in the cave, without open it, she gives u harold, just make sure to talk to her facing the clift so you can pick pocket her later, then you go buy the gloves of thievery > pickpocket the chest from her, and even in honor mode, as long you have not leave the hideout after delivering the chest, you can fail the pickpocket and still get the chest from the corpse if you saw the chest in the inventory previously, i do this everytime i want the chest xD coz sometimes i even forget about it x]

Dos2 started with a ship crash and giant tentacles, and so did BG3, so what I want to know is if they'll do it a third time? Because of the Comedy rule of threes of course!
You can get everything by killing the bandits at the chest, give the chest to the bandit chief, buy the Titanstring Bow, then kill the chief and loot the chest.
to get the flask you simply complete the mission. go buy the enhanced goods. do not long rest and simply kill the zhents. she will have the crate in her inventory. so you get paid, the goods AND the box with the flask =D
I did the iron knome thing but when I was looting them I got a weird glitch where I couldn’t take everything from their inventory. That didn’t happen anywhere else in the game. I did it because wulbren was rude
Wait! The font of restoration still works normally! When I went through on my Wyll, and Tav play through respectively in patch 7 I could only activate the font once. Though it could have been mods, but also the ones on the starting ship also don't work after using them once. Also for the Zhent extra stock you can lockpick the chest and steal the contents of the chest without being seen, and then long rest. When you get back to the hideout the will have Rugen tied up, and Olly dead, but consider you Rugen's savor and the zhent leader will open up the extra stuff from the merchant for you. But just like your method you miss out on that one crossbow for the quest reward.
@ZKSTLKDESU I found that out too! I made a new game and went in on balanced with no intention of continuing the save. Just wanted to check that out with the healing pods. In the tutorial area of the mindflayer ship, even with a fully hidden party member out of combat, reactivating the heal requires an action slot to be used. Either I have horrible luck with the cheese or this was patched. Still cool just did not work for me.
Putting together Dribbles body isn't really that rare, you get the quest literally from the Circus lady after the fake Dribbles fight if you go talk to her
Since 2nd edition paladins have never been defined by their god. I believe it was actually 4th edition that added it. 2nd edition never mentions paladins following a god, and 3.5 edition specifically says paladins don't need a god. 5th edition not enforcing gods on paladins is actually consistent with legacy editions of D&D.
I'm confused. I found a number of these things in my first playthrough just after the game launched. I didn't finish that playthrough until Patch 3 went live. What's supposed to be exclusive to Patch 7?
Literally none of these are exclusive to patch 7 and have been around for basically the whole time. I started realizing about 5ish months ago that things started becoming clickbaity with the titles. “99% of players missed X” nonsense. Plenty of people don’t play these types of games obsessively so I won’t knock folks for not knowing some of these things from one or two playthroughs but it’s in bad faith to declare any of these things missed by 99% of players.
I beg of you: stop calling inspiration points a reward. I think of a reward as money, armor, weapons, rings, amulet / necklace or even information about something else. Inspiration points are so easy to get it’s hardly worth being name a “reward”.

Swen Vincke said there is something to be found in BG3 that reveals their next game. Has anyone come close to finding this hint?
My guess is that whatever the hint is, it's hiding in plain sight and we wont know until the announcement (whenever that will be)
Dos2 started with a ship crash and giant tentacles, and so did BG3, so what I want to know is if they'll do it a third time? Because of the Comedy rule of threes of course!
@@robjohnson3095 So it is going to be Factorio then?
Without knowing what exactly the next game entails. It’s hard to do
If you release Shadow Whiskers before the clown fight, she will just run away without combat. I think the same happens with the dino.
For the first time in a long time someone actually surprised me with bg3 content
You can get everything by killing the bandits at the chest, give the chest to the bandit chief, buy the Titanstring Bow, then kill the chief and loot the chest.
10:44 I see what you did there haha :D
Interesting. I'm running my honor mode right now with a paladin cleric build. I just thought those dialogs were always there.
to get the flask you simply complete the mission. go buy the enhanced goods. do not long rest and simply kill the zhents. she will have the crate in her inventory. so you get paid, the goods AND the box with the flask =D
One hearthbomb is lootable from the chest of the mundane in the Arcane Tower
If you summon unlimited zombies lie that, be sure to have one of your party members cast Aid.
Fungal Infestation, can be extremely useful to do impossible mission too. 😂
If you talk to the dinosaur next to shadowwiskers and feed him. He won’t attack either.
Did my guy just reference LoTR with that light bomb 💣
That curse on Astarion is not new, I got it before patch 6 at least
150 hours in this gamr and I still feel like im missing everything and doing everything wrong lol
okey, did NOT know that webbed surfaces nullified fall damage, pretty neat
I really wish they kept the early access feature with allowing paladins to worship a god.
I did this on accident when a cleric/paladin of Elistraee. Go get that sword in the underdark after doing this.
Incontinentia Figgin 🤣
“He has a wife you know…”
So Curse of the Sired is literally a PTSD episode?
I just use the mage hand from lae’zel and just picked it up without my party in combat, they’ll attack the hand but not you
I've got a question similar to the paladin of salune. Would it be possible for shadowheart to become the paladin of Shar?
you can simply kill rugan and get the stock from her and harold and then either pickpocket or kill her and also get more xp
I did the iron knome thing but when I was looting them I got a weird glitch where I couldn’t take everything from their inventory. That didn’t happen anywhere else in the game. I did it because wulbren was rude
Multipass is a Fifth Element reference
Now I have to play baldurs gate again
10:28
Maybe hes 1/4 elf or human with a small amount of elven blood 👀( or a graphical issue but thats no fun lol)
if you mod in the shar religion you can get paladin of shar choices to
3:03 that thing bugged in my game and I could only use it once
They can't be used more than once on honor mode, do you happen to have honor ruleset enabled? that might be the cause
@ZKSTLKDESU
I found that out too!
@@JunoHoslow ok now that makes sense, yes I do have the honor mode ruleset, haven't done a full honor mode playthrough yet so I didn't know, thanks
A rare case of someone saying angel and meaning angle and not the other way around.
Are Inspiration points really even a reward? There were so many of these in this video
ngl the web feature is overlooked
Putting together Dribbles body isn't really that rare, you get the quest literally from the Circus lady after the fake Dribbles fight if you go talk to her
In pretty sure I tried the spore druid think like a month ago. I don't think it works anymore
I always respec shat as a pally and she is a pally of shar
If you feed the dino that is caged some meat that dino does not join the fight and you can chat up the gentleman dino after defeating fake Dribbles
3:23 i thought it does not reset on honour mode?
Yeah, you only get one for HM
Love how he seems to know so much about the game yet doesnt know how to pronounce names like Selune
Is Shadowheart a paladin of Shar even if she doesn’t have any cleric levels?
Paladins have Gods!
Thanks to mods.
Incontinentia is a Monty Python joke from The Life of Bryan. The video is on UA-cam. Biggus.....Dikus. 😂
Man says hidden class then says how to unlock speech paths..🎉
I beg of you: stop calling inspiration points a reward.
I think of a reward as money, armor, weapons, rings, amulet / necklace or even information about something else. Inspiration points are so easy to get it’s hardly worth being name a “reward”.
You can now be claric of Seluna????
Also, Sune is pronounced "Soo nay".
Amazing discoveries
Y no explain where places are. I guess I'll look up other people's videos for explanations
Who thinks spore druid is bad?
?
Angle.
