In our school, I get to hear 170 or so students (preschool to 8th), sing the prayer to the Arch Angel Michel. Hearing those beautiful tiny voices always moves me to tears.
Thanks so much for your video! As an inquirer who is learning more about Orthodoxy (when I become of legal age, I will convert), I'm learning as much theology and bits and pieces as possible and your channel has been a great help!
@@somerandomguyonyt8766 my parents can forbid me legally from doing it. They are Pentecostal, so they really don't want me to convert. But once I'm 18 I can do it freely. I have convinced them to let me attend Saturday services, though, but that took a struggle. But it happened with God's grace, and I will attend this Saturday.

I’m very disappointed. I binged the entire Patristix series over the past 3 days, now I have to wait on the upload schedule like a regular person…great stuff, keep it up
The whole series in 3 days?! Impressive! We're actually on a short break at the moment but coming back with new episodes from the 29th November. Thanks so much for watching!
Hey! We are coming to Melbourne soon. We are Russian Orthodox but not Russian :) we would like to know which church you would suggest us to attend with an English Liturgy. Thanks!
There are a few options there. The one we know best is the Good Shepherd Antiochian Orthodox mission. It's a little distance out from the centre in Clayton, at the university campus. Fr Geoff is a wonderful priest and old friend, and it's a very good community! www.thegoodshepherd.org.au
Hello! I have a question about burning incense. So I am an Orthodox Christian and I am curious to know am I allowed to burn Incense resin without a specific religious reason, actually I want to burn it before I really like the smell. I couldn’t find an explicit answer. I would like you to tell me all the details about burning incense. Am I allowed to do it, should it be done only while praying or only on holidays? Does it matter what kind of incense am I using, how I burn it, how should the censer look like, because I want to make it by myself, or even am I allowed to make the censer by myself etc. ? Thanks in advance!
These are some good questions! They're a little outside what we can answer as a UA-cam channel, and I would definitely recommend talking to your priest about all of this. God bless!
Rather interesting that the water was pulled into the ground where the spring was. This would mean the Pagan waters were not only prevented from destroying the Christian spring, but were conquered by it and added to it, their water becoming indistinguishable and just as pure as the water that was already there because it was filtered through the same process, and the filth accompanying it was buried in the Earth as if put to death. Theres many parallels between that itself and the conversion of the Gentiles.
Loved the video, thanks for making it, i didnt know about this historical event. I have only one criticism. St. Michael was not the one who appeared to Joshua in chapter 5, that was Jesus, the Angel of the Lord. Prophets do not worship creatures, and the Angel of the Lord said the exact same thing as God said during the burning bush, which was "Moses take your sandels off, for this ground you walk on is holy." Christ said the same thing to Joshua on the mountain, to take his shoes off for the ground was holy, and Joshua worshiped Him. We dont worship angels, that was Christ, one of the many theophanies of Christ in the Old Testament.

I wonder if there is any archaeological evidence for this.
