Just gotta say Hoka changed my outlook on running shoes. I don't know where I've been but they were recommended by my podiatrist after developing plantar fasciitis. Still have it but it (Clifton 8) was an instant hit with my feet. I see a second pair in my future!
I had it for over a year..bought Pro 2 plantar fasciitis inserts on amazon and got almost immediate relief..6 quid..and i had gone tova physio..tried a Strasbourg sock etc..
Love my Bondi 7. Bondi 8 drops in a day or two..... I have brand new Mach 5's...... These are verrrry much a rocker shoe. But, I don't currently have the strength and form to do it justice. That is the direction I am headed. Nicely done, Hoka 👍👍👍
My ankles cave in like crazy. Been in New Balance 860s and Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21s. Can't wait to try the Arahi just to see how it feels. Finding the right stability shoe has been a challenge.
I have severe flat feet and plantar fasciitis from the Marines. My feet were constantly killing me until I purchased a pair of Hokas. My second pair though hurt my feet and they were really loud, the material used on the inside would squeek badly. All in all I love the shoe, but I’ll pay better attention to exactly which style is best for my condition.
I bought these because I have flat feet wide feet. These were concerning at first because of the price. But all shoes I’ve worn have my feet throbbing after 5 hours of walking. Not even doing anything intense. Got the Clifton 8. First day was painful because the shoe was pushing up my arches. Because the shoes I’ve had didn’t do that. Now 1 week later after being broken in. These are amazing. They get the job done. My feet aren’t throbbing. Highly recommend.
I just bought the Bondi 8 and I’m not a crazy long distance runner just run a typical 4 miles a day, and I shaved 4 minutes on the first run on my 8’s just from the comfort and support alone on the shoe. Like running on clouds 0_o
Never heard of these shoes. I’ve had severe foot pain for the past 10+ yrs. Finding a comfortable shoes is an understatement! I’ve tried many even custom prescribed insoles from the dr. Nothing worked, nothing. My feet? Flat, dropped arches, and plantar fasciitis. I’ve done ice soaks just name it. Today I walked into a chicken feed store called Farm Way and saw so many different brands I’ve tried and once again started the process of looking again. A man asked if I needed help and what were my needs. We went over a couple brands and then he said he had something that was designed for foot pain. He brought me over a pair I don’t even know which one. I was tired just out of work feet in pain as usual and let me tell you…. I asked to put both on which is also rear because what’s the point after this many years in pain. I put them on and not to sound crazy but just that felt good. Then I started to walk and I couldn’t hold back the tears. Even now it’s hard because the pain was gone and I mean gone. Trust me I know pain in the feet. Dancers feet that is. All I felt was the pain leave and I walked out of the store wearing them. The price is maybe higher for someone with no issues but with all the bigger sports brand I’ve tried that are for my feet GARBAGE. I’ll be purchasing these every 4 to 6 months. I feel like I’m walking on air or pillows!! 🥹 After 8 hrs on my feet at work I’ve had them on now for two hrs and I had to look you guys up. I can’t thank you enough! Makes me want to start a UA-cam channel just to sing your praises. My husband is so heartfelt happy. Now I can do all throw away my ugly hard nurse shoes that were over priced for the lack of true comfort. Please feel free to comment back if I can give you a review or whatever if you’d like. Sincerely and Truly thankful Lisa
what will be best for an amateur runner who wants to improve his physical condition and lose weight, try to run slowly but with time making more and more kilometers ? Arahi 6 or Rincon 3??
How’s the durability? I’m not a runner but need the most comfortable shoe for standing on raw concrete. I have had (3) pair of ON Cloud, real comfort but durability bad, maybe 6 months before holes in small toe area. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
Any idea when the Clifton 9 will come out? Debating to see if I wait for that one or just get the 8. I tried the Mach 4 as my first Hoka and so far loving it.
Great video. I have an older pair of Brook Ghost. I love the combination of comfort while not losing the sense of the ground. Which Hoka do you think best compares to the Ghost?
I’m right there with you - ride or die with my Brooks Ghost. I’m excited to get some Hokas on my feet and see if Brooks still has what it takes to remain the top dog. By what I’ve heard from Japan.. this brand is taking over!

Hi I weigh 90+ kg will Bondi 7 will be good pick for daily runs upto 10 kms alternate can buy Rocket X as well as all purpose shoes. On Nike Pegasus 38 I could feel jerks and shin and knee hurt as well as heel sore can't handle stable pace so want to swap. Am Normal Arch and forefoot striker toes almost the high heel drop in Nike wasn't favourable it seems.
Hey bro, I'm a little late I see but some help nonetheless. I've run with quite a few Hoka shoes now, I would say the Bondi is the one you're looking for. A bit more cushioning and support, but still an excellent responsiveness to them. They last a good while too!
Guys the Bondi 7 saved me . After that i bought a pair of nimbus 25 asics and destroyed my running . Which of the 2024 hoka should i take to be similar to bondi 7 ?
Hello Sir I am looking for max cushion running shoes for Road running. Daily I run on HARD SURFACE for 3/4 mile or 6/7 Kilometres So could you please suggest me few shoes with max cushioned?
I would consider a Bondi in a wide width option. The bondi is a little more inherently stable and the wide width will give a little more volume for your wider foot: www.runningwarehouse.com/descpage-HOB8M10.html?from=youtube
Of the shoes in this video, the bondi probably offers the firmest feel but its still relatively soft. If you're looking for a shoe from HOKA that is a little more traditional and has a firmer foam compound, you may want to check out the Kawana: www.runningwarehouse.com/catpage-MRFHOKAKWN.html?from=youtube -Connor
@@runningwarehouse is hoka 8 good for plantar fascitis? I have it really bad and im a surgical tech and im on my feet a lot at work and I do a lot of walking, im hoping it gives a cushion feel and the feeling like walking on air and great arch support..so which hoka would be a great pick for plantar fascitis? Thanks
Honestly both the cliftons and the bondis have amazing cushion, just different levels. If you can, go into a store and try them both out. Otherwise, maybe start with the clifton
The Clifton or Bondi would both be great options for all day on your feet: www.runningwarehouse.com/HOKA_Mens_Running_Shoes/catpage-HOKAM.html?from=youtube -Connor
I just purchase the hoka 8 2022 shoes. I would like to know is there a hoka tracking GPS shoe I can buy from hoka that I can pair with my Apple Watch to track my walking and running
I would consider the HOKA Bondi. The shoe offers a 4mm drop and does not have an extremely bouncy midsole. It will have a high level of cushioning for running/walking long miles. -Connor
The pendulum always swings wide to the extremes. First the minimalist shoe trend, and the idea of "the less shoe the better". Now people got these hunks of material on their feet, and they call them "Hoka". I wonder what's coming next in running shoe trends?
You do not need to size down with wide widths. The extra width will simply provide a more accommodating fit throughout the shoe when compared to the standard width. -Connor

So this 3 min video tells me what? Absolutely nothing. how does it compare to other running shoes, is it for heel toe runners or ball of foot runners? Does it come in wide width? Is if for pronator or suppinators? Whats it cost? How long does it last? How many miles? Do you run a marathon is these? Can i stand all day in these? What???
Hoka saved my running life. Dedicated ultrarunner for years, started having knee issues. Bought some Hokas, immediate improvement.
What model did you buy mate
Did you take them out of the box and wear them yet?
I hate when people give you 1/2aSS information. What HOKA style are you talking about? I guess I wait another year!
Yup i had ankle pan these things truly help out.
Which ones did you buy?
I bought my first pair of Hokas, happy to hear that you recommend Clifton since I bought the Clifton 9.

Flatfooted Airman 🛩here. I went for the max cushioning of the Hoka Bondi 8 and got faster times walking in comfort but did notice the squeak.
What shoe was is that you bought that you enjoyed? I’m in the same boat as you Devil.
Just got tge Clifton 8 in triple black on your guys site. Definitely will be back.
Thanks for the video being informative 🤝.
Got the Gaviota for my everyday life. Little too clunky for my liking for running compared to Kayano and Glycerin but it’s great all day wear.

Excellent video! That was a super concise breakdown of the different shoes and it convinced me to buy a pair of Bondis.

great review. exactly what I was looking for
Thank you! Last 2 years I was with Brooks (I like it). This time I decided give a try Hoka. Sorry, but On is worst one.
Thank you! Just what I needed to know!
going for Hoka Bondi8 for Plantar Fasciitis, let's see
I use the Hoka NeedleCock 9's. Best I've ever had.
I just bought my first pair of GAVIOTA 4 for work. I never heard of shoe til someone told me

Gonna cop the arahi 6 I’ve gotten comments in how my feet bend inwards while wearing spikes hopefully they will adjust my foot a little over time
So what model should I choose for 4 days of traveling all day standing and walking
