As a non trad with kids, I need to come to terms with the fact that I need my support system near me, which means only applying to schools in downstate New York... It’s so intimidating to even think about 😩
How far into the premed journey do you recommend someone start looking into advising?

It may feel restricting, but can you imagine becoming a doctor with the support of your family every step of the way?! Getting into med school in downstate New York would change the trajectory of you and your loved ones lives and I’m rooting for you!
Advising can help any premed at any stage ensure they are on the right trajectory.
