- This bike was saved from the trash! I found it in our trash can. It must have cost the customer too much to repair so they tossed it.
This is a really cool bicycle frame though. Stretched beach cruiser style! Made for people 6ft or taller.
I decided this bike frame didn’t just need some new parts, it needed a new life! So I stripped it down to the frame, powder coated it and got all new parts for it.
I went with a rat rod style cruiser, something reminiscent of the chopper cruiser bicycles out west.
The build list for this bicycle is as follows:
6061 Aluminum frame
Springer fork
13.5” chrome chopper bars
Origin8 2 bolt stem
Origin8 sealed bearing headset 1” threaded
Sunlite bottom bracket
Wald chainring

All bikes deserve a second chance. And most of them can be saved from the land fill. It’s just a matter of whether you put in the work.

Thanks! I was so close to going purple, but I got a deal on those red rims, I guess it could have been a plumb bike, but the blue does look great.
