My wife had that exact same frame from the mid 1970s except that it was a Gitane. And I too took it apart to paint it and reassembled it. But I didn’t bother with the decals. Had some better wheels built at a bike shop in Chapel Hill. Ended up selling it on eBay about 15 years ago to someone in Colorado who was going to make art out of it. 🤷♂️

Formidable👍. Are the decals print and cut. I have a cricut machine and have often wondered about recreating the complex stickers with fine writing by printing them then cutting the outline rather than masking and painting!
