    The scratch test is destructive (to the gemstone) and irreversible. ☹

    What happens if I put fluorite in water please tell me

      Depending on the piece, it could crack or disintegrate over a prolonged period of time. Just depends on how many fractures there are within the stone and how fragile it is. You could also lose the polish if it is a polished piece of fluorite. Or, nothing could happen, it is just all dependent and relative on your unique fluorite.

    Can you please help me with my problem?
    I didn't know it before that multi fluorite crystal shoud not clean in water & i was keep cleaning it with salt water with other crystals.
    I want to know that my crystal is damaged or what would happen to it.
    Is it still working for me or it's just a peace of jwellery for me now...... please kindly help me 🙏

      Hello, if you are seeing a change in the Fluorite's appearance after water, then you may want to choose a new piece to work with in healing. If it still looks shiny and has not been affected by the salt, you can still use it for healing, just keep it out of water for the future!
      Some Fluorite is highly polished and will be okay in brief periods of water. Here is more on crystal cleansing alternatives: ua-cam.com/video/lwlMImxHnwI/v-deo.html

    Hi! Since fluorite will easily breaks, if the beads of my bracelets has chips does it means the energy is corrupt & will collect it more negativity?

    • @satincrystals
      @satincrystals  10 місяців тому

      You are right, Fluorite is quite sensitive to breaks. It won't collect negative energy, but you may not want to use it for whatever you had intended. Here is more on broken crystals: satincrystals.com/blogs/news/broken-or-lost-crystal-meanings

    I have a yellow stone I can’t tell if it’s fluorite or quartz. I scratched it with a knife and it showed very light micro scratches. Is this fluorite? Or would the scratches be deeper if it was fluorite? I did scratch against it with medium intensity. The stone has phantom banding, is tumbled and polished

    • @satincrystals
      @satincrystals  Рік тому

      Quartz will not be scratched by a knife, so you most likely have fluorite or a softer stone. We have just released a blog on Mohs scale of hardness, which you can see here: satincrystals.com/blogs/news/mohs-scale-of-hardness-for-crystals

    I wana ask somthin my green and purple fluorite raw stones turn into black and ugly just after one or two nights after this moon eclipse how its possible?

      I’m not sure what the scientific or metaphysical reason for the crystals changing colors is but I have heard many reports of different crystals changing colors for different reasons. Some healers believe that they change colors when they’re working hard with energy work. Scientifically they could change colors depending on temperature or light, etc.
