Looks like all of the BT products were priced at secondary and everything else near MSRP. I would’ve definitely grabbed the Michter’s but that’s probably it.
Not all secondary. The Weller special reserve, eagle rare, Blanton’s, and EHT SB weren’t priced outrageously. An argument could be made for the EHT SiB but also how often do you get the chance to pick that bottle up?
@@The_Unbottled I live in VA (state controlled) so not at all. I can drive across the bridge to DC or MD and see EHTSiB sitting on shelves/behind cash registers because of the museum pricing. To each their own though. We all have different budgets and different bottles we’re chasing. Hope your buddies enjoy those bottles!
Thank you! Yea I’m in Tennessee so not state controlled and not many bottles sitting on shelves even in museums because it’s such a competitive bourbon community here
Thank you! I guess I just see more prices than most but I’ve seen way worse mark ups so these weren’t terrible in my eyes. $50 for a big boy Weller is not breaking the bank to me.
@The_Unbottled I hear ya. Also everyone's "disposable" income is different. Some of my buddy's think I'm crazy for even buying OF 1920 cuz it's $60 lololol. (My friends are very very cheap haha)
Haha very true! I started off that way as well but now I’ll grab a $300 bottle as long as it’s something I’ve been searching for and can’t find it for cheaper.
It goes back to perspective and your home market. Even at those prices which aren’t outrageous compared to what I’ve seen in other markets, the shelves would still be cleared in my home market. The cypb and full proof were definitely priced high I’ll give you that, but the rest aren’t that bad to not be excited.
i'd personally buy a Stagg batch that i don't own if i found them at that price. Other than that, I'm getting a EHT small batch or 2, then going on with my day
Glad you're back . those prices are good . The EHT single barrel could be found a little cheaper but would cost you 100 in gas to do that . Great haul!!
You get to do what you want with your $$ but paying 3x for EHT SiB is not being a "good bourbon buddy". It's being a tater and helping to keep secondary prices alive and well
It’s not being a tater when that’s the unicorn for my bourbon buddy. If you wouldn’t pay it that’s fine, but if it’s their white pony then why pass it up if it’s within their budget. Good luck finding an EHT SiB for cheaper right now just sitting on the shelf.
He is NOT obligated to follow your “bourbon buddy” expectations, just so you can finally purchase a bottle you can’t afford (which in all honesty, if you could afford it, you more then likely would purchase secondary bottles). PLUS secondary prices are NOT driven up because people participate in the secondary market, they are driven up because of a simple thing called “SUPPLY AND DEMAND”. Do your research before regulating someone else’s pockets with your imaginary expectations of the whiskey culture.
@@97entertainment96 I began by saying he gets to do what he wants with his money so your comment that I'm "regulating someone else's pockets" is funny along with being inaccurate. I'm voicing an opinion which everyone is allowed to do. Second, your comment about supply/demand is hilarious. The supply is below demand which keeps prices higher as retailers will keep prices there if people buy it (all of this ignoring the demands of the distributers on retailers to get these bottles which is a whole other conversation). Those willing to pay 3x are PART OF the demand. If people are willing to pay secondary nothing will change because there is financial impetus to do so. Third. I can afford a bottle of EHT SiB at $150-200 just fine but have passed on them at that price multiple times so thanks for your special assumption with no basis in fact. I'm done with you now. Have a nice day.
Hey man I’m not saying you’re wrong for how you’re feeling as I’ve felt the same way about certain bottles, but what wasn’t shown was I called my bourbon buddy and asked if that price was fine for them and they said “yes”. If they said no the bottles would’ve stayed put. I definitely have my limit on certain bottles but also have a flexible budget to splurge on bottles I do not have the opportunity to purchase often. In Tennessee bottles do not sit even at secondary.
Bro. I am sorry but you got robbed! The only thing priced right was Mitcher’s Barrel Strength Rye. The EHT SiB was priced 3.5xs the market price! You could have gotten a EHT Barrel Proof for that price and had change in your pocket.
That’s true if you. Can find a EHT Barrel Proof for under this price. It goes back to markets being different. You’re not finding a EHT Barrel Proof just sitting on the shelf for one and you’re not going to find it under $200 unless you get lucky with a raffle.
Prices aren't great but when you need a backup sometimes you'll pay a little more! You Sir are a Good Bourbon Buddy!
Thank you sir!
Those EHT would have been left at that price. ER, Blanton’s, WSR & Michter’s were good though. I see someone popped on the 2 WSiB they had for $499.
I personally wouldn’t have taken them but it was a bourbon buddy’s unicorn so they paid the price. Can’t be mad as long as they’re happy.
Those prices are full secondary of some ot those bottles. I picked up two wfp store picks today for $160 today.
That’s a rare and far in between find there!
That CYPB is full blown secondary. Like the top of secondary.
Yes it was which is why I didn’t even consider it haha

If I'm being honest, the only great price was the michters barrel strength. That was only like 10 over msrp! Great score!!
Thank you! I guess I just see more prices than most but I’ve seen way worse mark ups so these weren’t terrible in my eyes. $50 for a big boy Weller is not breaking the bank to me.

I am legitimately beyond jealous.
Sometimes being lucky is better than being good!
Why? ridiculous prices
It's good to see you well. As for the bottle selection I would have picked up the michters barrel strength. 🥃
I definitely had to grab the michters. Took me 3 years to find one. Could be a great bottle to share with friends.
Not the double back... lol 6:16
lol man I had to
There's an obvious reason why the shelves are full. Can't imagine getting excited about these secondary levels other than a few basic bottles.
It goes back to perspective and your home market. Even at those prices which aren’t outrageous compared to what I’ve seen in other markets, the shelves would still be cleared in my home market. Great to see you back!!!
Thank you for the support! I’ll have fresh content on the way soon!
How much was that Old Kirk?
I’d have to call back and ask. I don’t really remember
Nice pick up
Thanks man!
Man look like you lost weight. You look great brother. Keep it up !!!!!!
I appreciate it! Part of my health journey.
I’d be climbing over the counter for that michters!
Had to bring that Michter’s back home 😅
@@The_Unbottled you bought it too? Did I miss that?
Yes sir, it was in the first batch I purchased. Look at the receipt and you should see it
@@The_Unbottled yup I see that. Truly something I look forward to finding someday
Took me 3 years but hopefully this is the start of some good finds!
We connected a couple weeks back. I would still like to obtain the CYPB if you change your mind :)! Hope you are healthy or getting better!
I decided not to let it go and hold the rest of my collection. Thank you for the support and interest though!
Grab that Eagle Rare and Small Batch EHT.
I should’ve grabbed a Small Batch!
@@The_Unbottled man yes bro, you can’t beat that price 😂😂
Haven’t tuned in for a minute, but how’s the migraines? See the hunting is still going? hope the Health is Well
The health is great! The migraines are basically gone. I got my my results and I’ll make a video to share the findings.
Great video - glad to see you’re still making videos.
Thank you! Definitely have more content in the pipeline.
$399 for the eh Taylor single barrel is madness
The Eh Taylor single barrel was for $199.99 some of the price tags were shifted as the bottles were bought.
Can you mule the Jacob’s pardon 18?
Man those bottles are already gone. Sorry!
You got bent over. Ehtsib is cheaper on Secondary.
The price tags were shifted over. The price was $199.99. I personally have not seen a single barrel for less than $200.
Nothings wrong with collecting for the fun of it...and not drinking.
Nothing wrong at all especially if it’s for other people.
Hope your health is headed in the right direction 🙏
Thank you! It’s definitely still being monitored but we’re trending up right now
i'd personally buy a Stagg batch that i don't own if i found them at that price. Other than that, I'm getting a EHT small batch or 2, then going on with my day
Yea I had a couple back up’s of Stagg Jr already which is why I passed up. But 200 is definitely within my range for that bottle.
Unfortunately I would take a stagg jr at 200 if I could find one.
It’s not a bad find in my opinion
Glad you're back . those prices are good . The EHT single barrel could be found a little cheaper but would cost you 100 in gas to do that . Great haul!!
Thanks man I appreciate it! I’m not going anywhere any time soon!
Stagg jr all day 5:01
I should’ve but I didn’t want to pull the trigger at the time.
Bruh too much for the EHT single!!!
Potentially but where and when would you find a cheaper one?
My wallet would be light by about 600-700 after walking out of that store.
Haha mine was 😅

Definitely not the worse prices I’ve seen!
Nobody likes a quitter
you can pick me up a wellers special reserve and and we can do a mail call
Man next time! I want to do a subscriber hunt or something one day.
These comments are a joke, they charge those prices because they can get those prices. If you can’t afford it try harder in life.
