Thanks for this . I'm planning a wedding quilt (their 2 year anniversary is coming up but whatever lol) FYI, heating directly on your cutting mat will warp your mat. if you don't use it for measuring it should be fine but it will screw up your lines even heat from your coffee cup will warp it. . . (your blocks will be off) not being a jerk honest just helpful FYI. I'm enjoying your videos.
Hello! Thanks for this tutorial. I could not find a 24 inch pillow but did find a 23 inch pillow. How will I need to adjust picture and sashing and border sizes? Thank you very much in advance!!
The Crafty Realtor well I have a fabric stabilizer spray that Anna Griffin sells and thought about trying that but I did not want the pillow fabric to remain stiff.
Hello I was watching your video on applying pictures onto a pillow. I would like to know can I use my heat press to attach the freezer paper and get the wrinkles out of the material?
Well I did not try that. I do have a heat press and that is a great thought! I bet if you put the fabric side up it would work well. Thank you for the idea!
I have not had a need to wash the pillows. But if you did wash them and the fabric was not treated with the product that I mentioned in the video, I'm fairly certain it would wash out. The pictures have not faded on the ones that I have given for gifts about three years ago.
Unfortunately no. You need the rotary cutting blade that is only offered with the Maker. But the strips are pretty straightforward and shouldn’t be too difficult to just measure and cut by hand.
help i have the trial publisher and i can't figure out how to make the templet pictures on the video can anyone help me please first time sewing and would love to do this pillow
Hello. You can use another program such as Word. It's just a matter of getting it to print to the printer. But you would need to have an understanding of the program you are working in to set up your measurements.
Thank you for this tutorial. I really like the outcome and your instructions were very thorough!!

Hello. Love this idea. Wondering what size did you print the pictures?
Hello I talk about the size of the photos at about 3:15 minutes in. I cut them at 6.5" for a finished size of 6" and a 1/4 seam around.
I’m wondering if using spray starch on the fabric would pose any issues on print the fabric. I always starch when pressing.
The Crafty Realtor well I have a fabric stabilizer spray that Anna Griffin sells and thought about trying that but I did not want the pillow fabric to remain stiff.
Kalan's Krafting Studio, yeah, I guess that wouldn’t be very comfy feeling.
Do you have a pattern for a quilt size blanket?
Thank you for
Its Beautiful...where did you buy the Pillow that you used to stuff in there? TY, Sheila
I believe I purchased at Joann Fabrics. I am fairly certain you could find on amazing as well.
Is there a link for Publisher?
Why is the fusible fleece necessary? I may have missed that part.
Have a question I want to make a full size quilt can you share with me please
Hello I was watching your video on applying pictures onto a pillow. I would like to know can I use my heat press to attach the freezer paper and get the wrinkles out of the material?
Sure! I think that would work just fine. Good luck!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Was there ever any issue with using copyrighted images with Publisher?
These were gifts that were given to the owners of the photos.
What printer are you using
It is a Canon TS9500
What size are the pillows
I used 24 inch pillows. I think the finish size was about 23 but I stuffed the 24s in there and they worked fine.
could you use a heat press to iron the freezer paper to the material?
Well I did not try that. I do have a heat press and that is a great thought! I bet if you put the fabric side up it would work well. Thank you for the idea!
@@KalansKrafting I only have a heat press that is why I was wondering
Tammy Mckean Maybe just try on a small test piece.
how do you wash these, and does the picture not fade, thanks

Can I use any kind of fabric to print on?
I recommend 100% cotton
@@KalansKrafting thank you for replying I really appreciate it.
Any normally ink jet print can you use?
Yes any should work.
can you cut the fabric on a Cricut Air 2?
Unfortunately no. You need the rotary cutting blade that is only offered with the Maker. But the strips are pretty straightforward and shouldn’t be too difficult to just measure and cut by hand.
it's washable ? or gonna fade
It will definitely wash out unless you treat the fabric, which I talk about in the video.
tnx 😘
