I’ll get hated for this, but commercially (for sponsors) the shop looks jank, which is the opposite of what he has going on in that shop, the work is an INSANE level.

Even some 2017+ tails would set it off. The early headlights and tail lights are so bad

The S16 fucks with the new kit! Red and black you can never go wrong.
Slightly taller and wider tyres would look so good but it still looks insane how it is.

With the 19's and the kit, you can definitely get more meat on those tires and then you can lower it more. But with those small tires, you're asking for trouble.

Get the OEM 17+ BRZ LED Headlights, taillights, and OEM performance package brakes! Simple/easy stuff that has OEM quality and reliability so you can just enjoy this thing!

Personally I am a GM muscle car guy. Never been into the import car scene. That being said I love your enthusiasm and how down to earth you are . Always willing to help your friends. That is why I watch. My personal car is an 02 Firebird Formula right around 380 hp not fast just fun.

Jimmy, Spoon are by far the best car content creators and builders on the tube, bar none. I love the BRZ with the 2J in it. I hate the car, It doesn't know what it is, a Toyota or a Subaru, same as the A90 Supra. Then you put a 2J in it and that kit and colour. Completely changes the car. Job well done.
I was born in 99 and grew up in the mid 2000s car scene so this is a automatic win for for me like its the closest thing to a Hot wheels car your gonna get. Jimmy thank u so much love it

LOVE the car. My only gripe with wide body kits is not enough people mold the kits. I’m no body guy, so I have no idea what that requires, but I live to see more molded body kits. Still a killer kit for this gen 86👌
molded kits do look great but they offer very little serviceability. imagine some work in those arches needs to be done or if a fender gets wrecked, pulling apart a molded kit would be so inconvenient.
This thing needs air cups 1000%, looks sooo sick tho, excited for this one 😎😎

This kit without the fender and hood vents would make it much less ricey. Still ricey, but significantly less and cleaner. Everyone has their own opinion tho

You can place air cups on the coilovers , for that little drop and lift it up for leaving the shop . On that note , freaking good looking car !

You can put air cups like all the high end cars. Stay static till you have to hit a bump or driveway. Hit the button for just enough lift to clear

I think the stock headlights play off the chrome wheels so nice! Also if you’re not gonna lower it you gotta throw a meaty set up on it and get some aggressive spacers!

Jimmy! Fellow 86 owner, that rear bumper oem black exhaust garnish needs to go…. I suggest you get the RBV1 rear diffuser or the aimgain rear diffuser… either one would look SIIIIICK. Also rear tails Valenti Revo and front headlights get the OEN ones the yellow edition 2.0 came with… the car will look sick!

with any bright af color like this, color balance is key and not a lot of guys seem to know/notice this. granted it is a learned skill the same as anything else with cars, and aesthetic as a whole. the black accents everywhere help draw back the red from being too much, versus what y'all were envisioning when mocking up the kit. love how the kit came out though, definitely selling me on this chassis a loooot. :P

I'm gonna admit right away that i may see things more old school. I never really understood stretching tires, but at the same time you've pulled that look off well. In my opinion the car looks damn near perfect. But i think it needs beefier tires and maybe raise the rear ¼".
Because the kit is so aggressive the tires make it look like the guy who skips leg day. I'm not trying to poke fun, but that's the impression I get right now.
i agree, thats my only critique on alot of builds in the shop, theyre all killer and well done but could benefit greatly from some real tires. square sidewalls and some grip go a long way.

This build was such an adventure, rescuing it with all the unknowns. I wonder if the previous owner is gonna see the car now in all its glory. Its probably something out of his wildest dreams! Great job Jimmy, Spoon and Anthony. Y'all killed it on this one. And shoutout @djnoway for hooking up them wheels for it.
every time i watch the clip of spoon and jimmy smash that rear diff, i laugh so hard, i know it sucks, but it's just so comical the way it happens and how they look, part of the journey 😂

Car looks fire!! I would go up one size on with and height on the tires. Would help fill the wheel wells better and give it a more aggressive stance. Also bigger tires equal more surface area to juice em up. That would go crazy with the red and chrome.

Mirrors, brakes, taillights, half cage. Perfection
100% needs new head and tail lights. VLAND blacked out headlights. TOMs red out tail lights. Best combo imo. Meatier tires would look a lot better too.
