Just FYI, there is 3 types of JZ sumps. Front, rear and MID. The mid sump came in the Crowns and puts the pan just slightly forward of where the rear sump pan would be

Protip for laying silicone, grab a long cotter pin and put it over the bottom and use a pick through the rounded end to roll up the silicone tube. Pours evenly and uses it all

He used to be on the channel a lot back in the day helping Jimmy with builds and fabrication before spoon I believe. With him working his normal job outside of being in DJs vids I doubt he'll actually be on the Oakes garage team again.

Actually you guys should have little action figurings and a mini Jimmy Oakes garage like hot wheels since you have a kid now they would sell maybe make your own dice cast cars get a machine and probably outsource a company that makes lil gi joe Jimmy Oakes dolls or figurines what ever you call them
In no way am I telling you guys what to do but I’ve found over the years a nice bead of sealant and allowing the pan itself to spread the sealant when installed seems to be a much better way to do it!
hey jimmy I think some better lights for the garage would be really beneficial, a lot of the videos are a little on the dark side. I would love to be able to see all the intricacies of the builds with just bit more light in the shop. love the videos !

Not sure if this is correct but I think the reason the rear sump works better for drifting is less rotation on the axis than a front sump, just a hypothesis 🤷🏻♂️
The FRS is by far not my favorite car and I'm not a big TJ Hunt fan but that is the best build in your fleet. Streethunter kits are the best kits in the game right now. That's as classy as a widebody can get.
Grant didn’t get the calford cam setup with the coated buckets at least from the video they showed. So he didn’t follow the recipe, hope his JZ pie turns out ok.
If the engine fails in the e36.. cut it up and make trailer out of it for the e36 estate/touring/wagon. 👁👄👁

Borg warner s300 drain flanges also fit (not vibrant) on jzs so you dont have to get fancy toyota specific billet adapters
