Habanero peppers taste to mild while chewing for the punch they pack for the throat and stomach, these peppers can feel like a punch in the stomach without a clear warning.
I got put in Facebook "jail" because I said chile is good for you! It is good for you! I live in New Mexico which grows amazing chile, and I've been eating it since I was a little girl. I have New Mexico grown green chile every day and I sincerely believe that it is an essential to maintaining a healthy immunity.
For the past 3 years I been eating Jalapeno peppers, unions, garlic almost daily. The effects on my health have been phenomenal. My blood pressure, cholesterol level & my blood sugar levels are now all normal. Which is miracle within itself because I'm 50 years old & over weight... with a history of heart disease & diabetes in my family
I especially eat the Jalapeno peppers at least 6 days out of the week, I chop up peppers, garlic and unions in my soups.. & all of my foods that I eat. I also buy crushed red pepper and sprinkle it on my baked chicken and other dishes I prepare. So I eat hot food 95% of the time. A pepper a day, will keep the doctor away.
Love it when my food bites back, i get a nice euphoric feeling when my mouth is burning and the sweat starts to poor, if that wasn't enough i absolutely love the taste of peppers i don't know what it is because i come from a southern Euro family from the south of france who can't stomach even the most basic hot sauce but i'm out here eating ghost peppers and a whole range of different ones, i absolutely love it.
I eat 1 spoon of Ghost pepper powder almost every day and now I'm trying to level up to Scorpion 🦂 Pepper powder, eventually I'll get to Carolina Repper level, I started eating hot sauce as a kid so I build my Spice tolerance over the course of years, over 15 years , I also came from a Mexican Family so they always made Hot Salsa from Scratch, Red and green Salsa
15 years? I’m White and only been eating spicy for 3 years and I can do reaper everything. Lots of spice challenges where they even make you sign a waiver
@PhaseSkater good for you, I don't do any challenges I just eat it for the spice kick,. And I eat spoon full of Dry pepper powder on to my food, how mush of Carolina ripper powder can you eat on consistent basis?
As a Mexican I love spicy food but being Mexican is not the reason why we can eat hot peppers better than other nationalities or ethnicities it just means that we can bear the pain/heat from peppers better than other people, we’re used to that, we usually start eating spicy food since we’re very young.
I love spicy food, I put chilli peppers with practically everything I eat. I'm from the UK, I'd happily compete with anybody for who can handle the hottest food. Just don't eat the hottest chilli's on an empty stomach, I've made that mistake before 😂
I keep a jar or can of pickled jalapenos in my fridge. I try to eat a few every day. I like the burn. The raw ones are a little too much and cause stomach distress.
I like to cut hot peppers into small chunks. They can be added to many foods this way. You could throw them on pizza or Mexican style foods. Or you could add them to a salad, sub, or soup. I think of them as just a part of the meal. I am sick of people being scared to death of the heat. The heat really makes the meal complete. Just need to know how much to use to give it all just the right kick.
Some people cant handle certain peppers but ive been eating spicy food so long that i can handle them all easily though ive never tried a ghost pepper yet
Every time I go to a restaurant I always ask for the hottest salsa they got then I taste it and I’m like nah it’s not that hot waitress looks at me like I’m crazy lol
My mother in law is from russia and absolutely hates spicy food. I grew up making and eating hot food without a problem. Every Time I make or eat something spicy she gives me a lecture on how unhealthy it is, saying that it damages your organs, but I have done much research because of her and I cannot find like any research that says it has those negative effects. The food I eat isnt even that hot, she just thinks it is because shes not used to it.
I hope you don't mind my comment? The best advice I can give to anyone starting on acidic peppers. Your best bet is to not Chase it with water but with milk. Water will amplify and spread the acid in your mouth. Just saying.
I literally have to eat a raw pepper with every meal...makes it so enjoyable. Awesome fruit
With a sandwich, in eggs, or with a steak. A nice pepper always makes most food better.
Same. I always have dried chili peppers available at the table.
Y'all know what's good in life lol
Me too...
Same here, but I had no idea that peppers were a fruit, that's a fun fact. Thanks for that!
Kudos to the news guy for eating that habanero, that's superhot for someone not used to it. That food looked amazing too
