@Stand Watie Martin Luther King did say “riots are the language of the unheard” and he said it in 1967 at Stanford University. Just look it up, there are multiple sources.
Anyways, sometimes rioting is the answer. If someone is being violent or cruel towards you being nice and not doing anything isn’t going to work. It’s going to make the other person/people see as a pushover and they’ll continue to hurt you. You have to fight back.

I think the funniest thing about the riots is of the thirty one people arrested the best story is of folk singer Dave Von Ronk who is straight and cis and wasn’t even at the stonewall inn to begin with. He was eating at a nearby restaurant when he saw rioting said “well I better go see what all the fuss is about” stepped outside and immediately started throwing bricks at cops

Taking in count all of the suffering and rejection the LGBT community has suffered throughout time, I think we can proudly say that this can now be acknowledged and recognized as a part of their identity and something to be proud of, (not ashamed of). As well, even though there have been many improvements, there is still a long way to go to make the LGBT community feel completely accepted within our society. That is why it is important to be informed to spread awareness to slowly change our way of thinking into a more open-minded one. Therefore, I believe that a true solution would be a world where we could all express ourselves freely without being judged, no stereotypes or being labeled specifically, where love rules over all, with whoever you choose it to be.
