      facts not dogma If you are gay or know someone who is, this is important information! Sexual orientation is determined in the womb during fetus development. Various hormones are introduced at specific times to accomplish this .The fetus plays no part in this process. A person is, therefore, born with a predetermined attraction. It is, therefore, not a choice & consequently not a sin & not immoral. It is a natural expression of mammals & found commonplace in nature. Intelligent research in this area clearly explains this process. If you are truly interested in truth, based on knowledge, the book Gay, Straight & the Reason Why by Dr. Simon Levay shows this with numerous research articles. If you want to understand the truth & have respect for yourself & others this book will help. It also has, unlike the bible written over 2000 years by men that had no understanding of science, an extensive bibliography. I strongly recommend the book. Don’t let the religious pull you down to their level of ignorance. Peace

    Hearing those stories and seeing the pictures from pre-stonewall was so meaningful?? like, all I've ever heard about were the raids and violence and then to see this where lgbtq people were living almost out in the open. Learning about them walking up the street and living together made me tear up cause I wish we were taught the good parts of our history too. Our history is not all tragedy, there's so much love and life there

      What do you think a community means? It is what was between the arrests, beatings, riots ... If you haven´t seen it maybe it's because you didn´t want to pay attention before. Anyway, they protected each other against the police and homophobic citizens. Don´t idealize it, some of them lived out in the open, yes, specifically in parks at the age of 12, so I would say that love arose from the tragedy.

      im sorry to say this, but its never going to be finished. The logic behind intersectionality is to actually pit people against other people to divide the masses and keep us distracted. There is an evil program to lower the age of consent to 16 yrs, or sometimes younger. People really need to take another looks at trans, and being trans. IMO there are very, very rare cases where surgery is needed. Gender dysphoria is real as well, but it is obviously leaves as time goes on and people change. Look at how many people that are in transition right now. There were not so many people scared to tell people, there are of course some, but the numbers don't back up the 5000 percent increase in trans surgeris

      facts not fiction If you are gay or know someone who is, this is important information! Peace

While not trans, I was so pained to see people who were fighting for the same rights for the LGBTQ+ community but couldn't reach a point of understanding with those also a part of it. But acknowledging and discussing the development of the LGBTQ+ community in regards to transphobia, racism, and its overall growth allows me to fully appreciate the community that is today and what it will be in the future. I have recorded pride events across Europe since 1992, seeing millions of people and recording thousands. processing the videos in the winter I see thousands of faces from all walks of life, in the process I get a bigger picture as to what is going on socially. Its a privilege to be a part of it. Its a shame that everything came to a standstill in 2020, it just shows how fast hings can change and the vulnerability of our very being. In 2021 we must all work together to make the whole world a healthy happy experience , free to express our selves healthy. Stay safe in 2021 Happy new year to you all.

      truth If you are gay or know someone who is, this is important information! Peace

    Trans people were not accepted because they seem to confirm the straight lie that non-trans people were trying to live down; that gay men really wanted to be women and lesbians really wanted to be men (an argument used against feminists as well). I am the only surviving member of the original Board of Gay Peoples Union (GPU) formed in Milwaukee in '71 or '72. It was the first non-student LGBTQ organization to be incorporated in Wisconsin. We testified before the legislature at great risk and helped WI become the first US state to overturn the state sodomy laws, which justified a wide range of discriminations and oppressions. I still thank God that I was born queer because I've learned so much about humanity through experience.

      "I will never understand how one's sexuality or gender can affect complete strangers".
      Because now, they're targeting children. That's how. The term "pedophile" is now MAP=minor attracted person. They're also saying they have the right to live, and if you disagree with them, you're a hate mongering bigot.
      If a woman wants to put pants and a ball cap on and call herself a man, she can do that. If a man wants to put on a dress, he has that right. But neither of them have the right to force me to call them what they call themselves when I can clearly see they're not. That's impeding on my rights.
      I know your comment is 2 years old, but let me ask you something. Why does a gay or "trans" teacher need affirmation from their students?

    • @antimale
      @antimale 9 годин тому

      @@orion3706 "MAP" is a Russian psyop.

    I really can't understand why people have hate for other people weather it's gender, sexuality, race, religion, the shape of someone's body & whatever other reasons people find to hate & put people down... none of those things make a good or a bad person. I hate that anyone has to or has had to suffer due to being different. Our differences is what makes us beautiful.

That was the first time I did anything gay publicly. I was 18 at the time and it was WONDERFUL! I've been out ever since and fully support all the work that is still being done for the LGBT community. Stay proud! Stay strong! - With much love from an old queen in La La Land.
