As always, thank you so much for the detailed comparison on the new series rollout. This was exceptionally helpful, as I noticed our quoted unit being delivered was the SU series LX2610. Thank you for helping me catch this in time and hopefully remedy that for the Open Station deluxe model, as well as the quick detach loader valve. All valuable information!
With being a smaller L series I would have liked to see at least one of them ( probably the LX3310) have an option for manual transmission.
So few wat manual on the small machines its not economical to design the transmission.
At least Kubota makes welll thought equipment compared to the others.
Dude. You guys are so good, I order my parts and filters from you rather than my local Ohio dealership that is only ten minutes away. Them, almost never having everything I need half a dozen times or so, has been a major turn off. I mean, seriously, I should be able to buy grease and O rings any time of the year...
Glad to help
How does lift and torque on the lx33 compare to the b3350 and similar L series?
Is 1 kg difference with the la534 vs la535
I don't think I'll trade my L2501HST it works great and no emissions junk. That fancy stuff won't bush hog my fields better !
Lx2610su with a bh77 backhoe, it has no emissions. I purchased one to go with my mx5200...
I have a B3200 that I wouldn't trade out for the eco model.
I'd like to see a similar video of a loader on a tractor being jammed into a rock or dirt pile
Help. Upgrading from a Ford 8N. Debating between the LX2610 and the L2501. 5 Wooded acres. Finished property. Mostly going to be landscaping type things like dirt work, clearing down tree limbs, so I am thinking the LX. But I have about a mile of gravel I maintain so my local dealer says to go with the L2501 since I will be box blading. What do you recommend.
Neil, Great explanation and walk through of the different Kubota models. THANKS! 🚜🍊
I’m curious as a shopper, why would I or should I choose the LX2610SU over the L2501? I’m having a hard time choosing.
I purchased a b2650 in 9/19. You are correct about the loader valve. It was much better than the ck 2610. I would like more hydraulic pump volume.
Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos. Thank you!!!
Thank you, Neil, for another outstanding video. I do have a question....
Are the loader specifications, ie , lift capacity the same as the standard L series? In other words, would the LX2610 use the 525 loader? Thanks!
there are different loaders between the L and the B. The specs on paper are very close, but the real word use the L will feel more capable. I plan on doing a video on this in the future.
Plus 1 to this question and for the video about loader lift capacity.
@Love it, Or leave it At the pins, not the bucket. You have to be a mathematician to actually figure that out.
Excellent explanation of the new models. Thanks for the thoroughness on the new emissions system. Let's hope this one's a winner!!
Nice tractor but I'm not a fan of the digital LCD dash panels. It's fine to have a small LCD for hours or info but I wish tractors would stick with an analog tachometer, temperature and fuel gauge.
EOSJOE why? You don’t like technology?
@@noahranker4133 Harder to read in sunlight often, or when they get a bit dirty.
You do a great job explaining all the Kubota minutia. I have owned an L2850, L3800, L5740 and now a brand new L47. I love these things..
Maybe do a comparison between the L and the LX since the loader is a little larger on the LX for lift and break out
I have a 2012 L3200 gear drive for food plots and trail mowing and it's the perfect size for that. I also have a 2019 B2301 hydro loader tractor for pretty much everything else. I find the gear drive better for field and trails and the hydro a better loader tractor. so I'm very happy with both and pretty much set for all the needs on my 80 acres of woods.
Looks like it is about time for new shingles Neil ;)
Not a lot of profit to be made off selling equipment. Hard business to be in. You should always pay asking price for a tractor or implement.
We've been mentioningvthe aged shingles for at least a year.
Good video! Nitpicking but loaders are made in KIE, Kubota Industrial Equipment in Jefferson, GA. All loaders, backhoes, L series, M series, and Skid Steers are made at KIE. KMA (Gainesville, GA) makes the zero turns, bc series, RTVs, and mower decks.
Great video though!
Hello Neil from Messick's I'm looking at the Kubota LX 3310 tractor
You make the best product videos !
It would be nice to see Kubota update the archaic led display. The analog looks so much better
Thank you for making this video very well explained and to the point. Ive been looking at tractors in this size and I plan to buy a LX2610SU I was looking at the b series but it is too small for what I want. I ran kubota tractors before and I like them. My main reasons for wanting the lx2610 is to run a mower and loader work and power a generator and have a garden I live in a rural area also I one day plan to own over 7 acres to 15 acres I dont want to deal with Deere because of the fact that the tractors arent very freindly to fix and our local Kubota dealer is a 15 minute drive from my house. I feel the Japanese make the best compact tractors in my opinion. Also Kubota has its own engine which makes it easier to get parts for.
Like I have said before I wish to hell you were closer won't you open up a place in Ohio
That'd be great. I am in Ohio too and the Kubota dealerships here don't even have online store fronts. I grew tired of having to go into a store and to a parts counter and beg for them to order basic tractor kits. You know? Grease. Spacers for my mower that should have come with it... I just shop Messick's now. It only takes a business day to get here from PA.
Neil, you need a roofer.
Very helpful thank you. Also great info about the B3350.
Is that your Explorer in the background you have mentioned in other videos? Nice! I like the new LX, but I preferred the B-50 series nomenclature better.
Yea, that's my car in the back.
The Jeremy McGrath of Kubota tractors. Y'all could be brothers.
Great live stream / video! Thanks for sharing❗❗❗ 🙂🙂🙂 👍👍👍
Informative video. Are any changes occurring to the B01 tractors for 2020?
No
Thank you Neil, in the process of purchasing the 2610 cab(thanks to your helpful advice) if you have a cab version in stock would love to see a video on that. When are you opening a dealership in Texas?
too hot in Texas. I try not to do a video that I don't have interesting content for 5-7 minutes. If I did the cab it would be like... here it is, a cab, it has glass, and mirrors, and keeps you cool. Not enough meat if its not wrapped in with other stuff. I did shoot some other LX videos with the cab variant, they are being edited now.
@Copter Cop Its called stretching your dollar. If it dont leak, whats the problem? I'm not buying the building I'm buying a tractor. He could build a state of the art facility but guess who will pay for it? The consumers.
Messick's
You do outstanding videos. Awesome detail.
You're the man. Well done mate
Boy you need some new shingles there!
I am looking at the new Kubota lx3310
Bey Neil, I have a 2017 Kubota B2650 ROPS with a LA534 Loader... just turned 44.0 hrs! How does it compare in physical size to these new LX Models? Please advise and Thanks Much ';-)
Its identical size
Did you say at the end there were six (6) models? I've only seen the 2610 in an SU configuration, but would be willing to trade for a 3310SU!
Messick's Equipment
Was there any issues with the B2650 ?
In the video you said if someone wants something heavier, to move up to 'L" serious...that's what you are sitting on? Did you mean to say "B" series?
Great video, I enjoy all of your videos
Fuel tank under the hood is a big downer and the rocker pedal. Kubota makes some dumb decisions on their tractors.
Where would you put the fuel tank? What's not standard?
@@MessicksEquip Should put the fuel tank under the platform. I took off my comment about the standard stuff.
When spending $30k plus what's a $1000 ? Go deluxe.
Another great video, Neil. it looks like you need to install the roofing attachment on one of those tractors and take care of those shingles that are falling apart @ 8:00
Would love to see an actual comparison if the LX3310 to the B3350, as well as the standard L-series just to see the size differences.
It's coming
Helpful overview - thanks Neal! Cheers!
Is the LX3310 turbocharged or naturally aspirated?
Naturally aspirated
oh man I was hoping to see the one with a cab
Price
Thanks for all the good info. I wish i had discovered this channel before I traded up. I had a 2018 bx2380 and moved to larger property. My dealer (who sold out this year) talked me into an L3901 vs an MX series tractor based on hp and saying i needed less weight. You are right, minimal hp can make a huge difference with weight! I wish i was further north. I would come swap it out and talk to you guys. For anyone watching, L 3901 is a fine tractor by all means. Choose your next tractor based on weight application then hp required for pto equipment.
Not all of their locations are like the videos and the way Neil talks. I walked out of my local Messicks last week because of the way I was treated. And I was in the store talking about spending around $25k
I'm so close now to deciding on a model. It looks like this set here.
I'm having trouble in the UK finding my needs. Do you ship to UK?
Ha I'm sure you've been asked before.
Thanks for the video ether way.
Your EU models are different.
@@MessicksEquip yeah. I was concerned about the emissions side.
Might I ask of a comparable model over here. Only if you have time.
have a question bought a new 2610 cab just changed first oil change at 48 hrs was 2 quarts low is that normal have had 4 previous kubots and none used oil
Did you check it before this point? Its not unusual for the level to settle in the first few hours.
Does the lx come with a backhoe swivel seat configuration?
Yes
How hard is it to do a delete the dumb exhaust like we do on the trucks?
There is no point. You'd be wasting your time and money.
So stay away from the used B2650&B3350 because of emissions?
B3350 is the one with that crap emission system. I own the B2650 and love it.
B2650 has no crap emission control stuff I have one and love it in the winter!!!
Aren't manufactures putting kind of weak engines in that large of a tractor frame - LX2610?
I think your asking if its low for the size tractor... yes, it can be for some people. Its due to emissions regulation
You gotta remember that it's got the same exact hydraulic system as the higher horsepower versions. I'd throw my money towards a larger frame low HP vs high HP smaller frame. It gets ya more bang for the buck , unless your buying it for brush hogging or mowing large fields/bailing and at that point why even buy compact tractor with a FEL
Come on Neal, tell us how to delete it. :)
Lol or turn the 26 hp up to 33.
Exactly it's not tricky .... My l2501 sure runs strong haha
I know you mention the different tire size for the SU model. Looking at the specs, does not show a different size for the SU. Just brought home a new LX2610SU this week so im just trying to verify this. Also, ground clearance is listed as the same. Upgraded from a BX1880. Very happy so far.
Thanks Neil. Now time to replace those shingles!!!
Use metal. Last forever
we should really just plead with Kubota to simplify the model lineup: another thing that might help is a "tractor selector" where you input what activities you want to do and it narrows the choice for you and makes suggestions. i personally went through 5 different types of tractor before i finally got the MX4800 i currently own that for me is the perfect combination with weight (can be hauled with a normal class c license), size (big enough to do most everything very well without being too big to fit many places) and power (48 hp is ok for me, but not under-powered for what i do).
Only thing that I don't like is I purchased a new piece of equipment from my dealer I took it is to get it fixed and I asked if I could get a loner and they said no they don't give loner I said to myself anytime someone's buys a brand new piece of equipment is that dealership does not give loner it a Kubota dealership here in Missouri
I already have a one year old 2650 cab loader front snow blower. Now it’s time to replace my good n used deere 4200 with a tlb 3310. Thanks Neil
I went with a L series for my automotive needs! Moving engines and transmissions around my property from storage areas to the garage and my truck for delivery or pick up! Needed the higher load capacity and size tractor!
Great video as always!. Have they made any small changes since 2020? I hear a lot complain about jerky transmission and loud hst
I don't think I will ever purchase or do some research there that dealership again execs purchase I will get it will be at a different Kubota dealership here in Missouri
Great Video, As always! I'd swear you're a Kubota rep which Messicks pays you exclusively to do these videos for them.
Couldn't find a dealership here in Canada that can bang off that much product information, so quickly, ALL the time about the SO many different Kubota models and series.
Your roof shingles must be Kubota brand, they have lasted forever!
Just traded my BX on the 3310 with a cab. Really liking it so far
Really like the flow and 'faster' speed at which you cover the details. Thanks! Am currently working with your sales staff - Don - on probable purchase and this presentation sure does add to my knowledge base. Again, thank you.
can you put a quick coupler on B2650? what about the quicker loader arm removal?
Can you get a swivel backhoe seat for the lx 3310?
Yes
@@MessicksEquip With the cab?
Good review Neil
Neal what RPM do you run on a B2601 to get 540 PTO speed? Done
Nice, I need more room!
What's the difference between the seriesL 2501 Lx26
Check the channel, I've done that
Gee thx Neal.
You just caused alot of newer owners regret for not waiting for this vid and this tractor 🚜
I used to like you and your vids 😁
Thank you for not drinking the green koolaid! 😂
do you have mailable info books on the lx series?
www.kubotausa.com/docs/default-source/brochure-sheets/20_04_08_lx_series_ktc.pdf?sfvrsn=35d4f886_10
Can you do a video explaining the excavator series and what they all mean. It is very confusing!
Great Job, great information.. looking at Kubota for my 6 acres, and a tractor work business..
I've owned a LX2610 for 1-2 years now. I recently asked for a quote from a local dealer for the Swift Tach kit (B2386). I was told that they aren't recommending them until they are reengineered, and that Kubota has reengineered the B-series Swift Tach kits but hasn't gotten to doing it for the LX-series kit. I was told that there were some problems with all of them. Has Messick's had any problems with the Swift Tach kits for the LX-series (and/or the B-series) and can you comment on whether or not Kubota is planning to reengineer the LX-series kit due to problems?
Great practical content presented in a to-the-point and entertaining way. Messick's is one of the essential channels for research and info on buying and owning tractors IMHO.
There was a pin that was changed in B2386 because of accidental disconnects, but that was about a year ago. I'm not aware of problems since, but we've not sold many of that kit.
Love my 2610. Does everything and more than i need!
Could someone explain the difference between the LX3310HSDC and the 3310HSD? The HSDC appears to be a little longer, lighter and shorter, but otherwise I can’t really see the difference.
The 'C' means cab.
This may be a question you don't want to answer, at least until dealers run out of B3350's, but I'll ask anyway.
I know you probably got one heck of a deal on the B3350 you purchased for yourself a few videos ago since I believe you implied they were being phased out, and I'm not sure how much foreknowledge you had about the new LX3310 tractors and their specs.
If you were to buy a tractor today, would you buy the LX3310 or the undesirable (your words from your video, NOT mine) B3350, considering the aggressive pricing (again your words, not mine) of the B3350?
I know, that sometimes people tend to stay away from new products until they are out there for a while and proven themselves.
I love your videos. I wish my local dealer, had the kind of inventory your company has. They have been great with my old "yellow" garden tractor with a Kubota D600 engine.
Everything has a place. I'm confident the LX will do fine, its a proven system. I'd consider a B3350 only at the right price, and understanding what your buying.
I don't mind the loader pins but do they make a single lever manifold kit that fits the B Series LA534? Will the new LA535 manifold fit the LA534? My B3350HSDC with Backhoe, Belly mower, and Loader came in just shy of $50K and I'm not about to trade it in for a manifold but that is the one thing I dread the most on this bad boy. They always are tangled and tight as can be in the sheath and I've mowed before with the loader on when I was in a hurry because I didn't want to deal with the connectors. I mean, I'd still need to manually remove the 3rd function couplings but they are much easier to get to.
Lots of people seem to want to know. I'll figure it out. May be awhile
So is the LX basically a b2650 for the 26hp version? Not really a big change in actual power or anything like that? Because i just bought my 2650 about a year and a half ago lol and I feel like these newer models will kill my tractors value
It does hurt value a little bit, but not much. Demand for these is still sky high. I'd take 10x as many used ones as we get.
Excellent, very helpful, thank you.
Wow look at that roof. Business must be bad.
Kubota "B3350" should be banned from the English dictionary. better yet, from any language whatsoever. LOL
Amen
Why are some manufacturers, such as Mahindra and Massey, able to make larger than 26 HP diesels without DPF, emissions?
We sell this style also. It's called DOC only same as a dpf but rather than cycling it's always burning. I would never use as a purchase decision.
Well, you just made my mind up, Neil. I was himming and hawing between a B2601 and a L2501. I have 8 acres of wooded and hilly land that I harvest wood from. Now that I've seen this, I think the LX is the best option. Now to decide between the delux or the SU model :/
If its only a question of economy or deluxe then go deluxe. If it's only $1,000 difference between the 2 than over 60 month finance thats less than $17 a month difference in payment. When you are sitting in that deluxe seat for long periods your behind will thank you. And having armrests makes a huge difference when doing front end loader work. Having a mid-PTO at least gives you the option for belly mower, front snowblower or power broom in the future if your needs change and increases resale value if you ever need to sell/trade it in. I started with a BX and after it was paid off I turned it in and upgraded 2 sizes to the B2650. A B2601 would have been a better fit for my property but I didn't want to be working at max capability of the tractor cuz now you are working at edge of what considered safe for the tractor. Now I have a tractor that can do the work easy, safe and I have some room to grow if my needs increase. Which I plan on buying some property up North in the future so I am trying to plan ahead. Just some food for thought. Hope it helps.
Looks like a lot better seat than my B2650 ...
What tractor size do you recommend for moving 4x4 round bale on the rear?
The only question I have is the price for the LX the same as the B2650? That was something that no one had asked. I know you don't quote actual prices online but is it at least in the same ballpark?
A few hundred more.
Bringing a gun to a knife fight 🤣
Great video Neil.
I have learned a lot from watching your vids, great job, as usual!
Prices plz!
Prices change. This video will be online for years.
Was just getting ready to leave the house to go look at a 2610SU at my local dealer when this video popped up on my feed. After this video and seeing the tractor yesterday I decided to pull the trigger. As a PA native transplanted to GA, your videos are my go to for anything Kubota/tractor related. When i mentioned "Messick's" at my local dealer, he referred to you as the "King of Kubota", lol. My original purchase might not have been with you guys but all my "pieces & parts" will be. That said, what would be the right part number if i wanted to swap out the SU seat for the deluxe version?
Does the LX have the same frame as say the 2650? Just curious if it is still the aluminum differential or if it's cast iron.
Thankyou.
Same frame. Why does anyone care?
On the Deluxe LX series can you have the larger tires with a mid PTO if you put spacers on the tractor?
No good way to know without trying it, but I suspect not.
That's quite the machine. I like the fact that some of the deluxe version goodies can be retro fitted to the su model. Can a mid mount pto be fitted to an su tractor?
most anything can be done, that the mid-pto would require splitting the tractor. Very expensive to pull off.
