  • Always clean snow from auger and chute, leaving that snow inside the housing & chute could turn to ice. just a few minutes could save you time, money and prevent frustration.
Snow doesn't care if you have a Cub Cadet like I do, Ariens, Husqvarna, Troy Bilt, Toro or even a Honda, Snow and ice will damage them all if you don't properly care for it
take care of you machine so it lasts for years to come.

Great job... I really thought it was supposed to be running, how can I get behind the turning thing if it's not on..... 🤷🏻

      Here's three ways
      1) after cleaning all snow from auger area, store inside heated garage.
      2) after cleaning as much snow from auger area, point a portable heater at the front of the snow blower to heat it up. But be careful so water doesn't get onto heater or electrical cord.
      3) in a pinch pour boiling water inside there to melt the snow, that will melt the ice behind the impeller. After that let it run with auger engaged to help disperse water from behind impeller.
So if it ever gets iced up and won't spin just as you need it, option 3 is quickest so you can get the snow blower going again.
      Hope this helps.

Remember safety first. Any time you need to work on snow blower or any small engine equipment, always disconnect spark plug wire. Some say take key out, why risk it, do spark plug instead.
