Wouldn’t private school and extracurricular activities have to be agreed on by both parents? Especially if one parent want the other to split the costs.
It doesn't matter, remember the kids are 3 and 6 years old. School ends at around 3pm or so.Most parents get off at 5pm, so extra curricular activities could be as simple as an after school program or a baby sitter. So that's an extra cost.

I may have not put in exactly the right amounts but she’s $40 short per month _just_ on the tuition, based on making $9.50 an hour. Absolutely nothing else included.
In reality both parties would (most likely) have lawyers and the child support wouldn’t just be for schooling and extra curricular activities. There’s also food, clothing, and household needs for the kid. Also, someone working a $9.whatever job wouldn’t be able to afford that stuff mostly on their own to begin with
That man barely pays for his children. The 3 year old has to go to private school since he is in pre-k and the state of Texas doesn't have public preschool programs, unless your child is special needs. You don't know her situation, she works and probably can't drop the children off at separate schools in the morning. That woman needs a lawyer because half of tuition is not enough.
@Inspired with Dominique I will agree with you; they both need lawyers. That being said, you're right; we don't know their stories, but if he has an alternative to the child care the mother selected, he should have had an attorney present who is more familiar with the process and how it works instead of waiting until he is brought in child support. And while Texas doesn't currently have universal 3-k, it still has daycare centers and child care providers. Even if the man is paying the bare minimum (this guy is probably below that), the father should have a say in that regard, but support hearings aren't the best place to bring it up.

At his rate he was already paying $800 in child support, at that rate adding an additional $500/month is raising the burden from the standard 20% closer to 33%. Take them out of pvt school if you are that poor, one case she will tell the woman the extras comes out of the support and on this one she makes him pay more. She is inconsistent with the rulings
In my opinion the parent that’s paying child support shouldn’t have to pay more just because the one receiving child support wants to put their kids in extra activities that aren’t necessary for child expenses. Now it can be talked out but really pisses me off if these mothers are getting upwards of $1000-1500/month. Like how is the man supposed to live comfortable? That’s just my opinion tho
Do you know how much money it costs to have to children? Little ones are quite expensive. I have two. Health insurance is 250 per month. Daycare is 1600 per child before before and aftercare. Private school tuition is 1500 per child. Groceries are like 270 a week. Clothes another 200 dollars. Shoes another 200 unless each child only gets one pair. My kids extracurriculars are 220 per child. Children also require extras like toys, day trips like the aquarium, museums, or zoo. It even costs money to prepare for them to participate in church programs. If you can’t afford children, you should take preventive measures to prevent pregnancy because it’s so much more than you can expect. It’s not easy. I’m blessed to work from home so I don’t have daycare, but the Mr. and I spent mad bread on these kids like most parents do. Why should women have to do that alone? Why don’t mothers deserve 1k if it’s being spent on things that benefit the child?
@@heyitslae178 yes I do have a child but no it’s not expensive if your smart about it. Cut out daycare and private school and you have 3,100 extra dollars. Extracurricular activities and private schools is a want not a need! Most have friends/family that can watch them. All and all I probably spend on his portion is about 400-500/month. that’s dippers, food, med insurance, and going out. My family plan with blue cross is around 400/month for 3 people. My point is that these dads are getting fucked over on child support. If a split 50/50 custody mom needs support from the dad on her time then she needs to get a better job, or the child lives with dad. A lot of these younger women got like 2-3 baby daddy’s living of child support. On top of family and another husbands/boyfriend’s support. If you need anything over 1k month for child care then your doing it wrong. Child’s needs > moms wants.

I don't agree that the woman should determine what the kids do. If the dad doesn't want them in private school why should she get more money for it? It's her decision. The mom is like I want my kids spoiled, pay more bc I cant afford it.
He saw Judge Vonda B. Later the same day...with his 1st baby mama & stayed he is engaged to his pregnant fiancée (she was there, too). Busy person...not a man! A man & Father would not be making 4 babies in 3 years + other babies he won't admit to the judge...
I think he is implying instead of hiring a babysitter she can just let him take the kids for a few hours or something. I cant exactly tell but that is what I am thinking.
I do not agree with the principles of this reenactment: As a woman, I think this is completely BS. Expensive private school and activities is not a right. It is a privilege and should not be an additional cost to income based child support unless both parents agree on it. If you want your 6 year old to be in cheer and gymnastics (fueling your fantasy that they become the popular cheerleader) then the cost is on you and you budget the income based child support you receive. If you want your 3 and 6 year old in "private school" without my agreement then you budget it into the money you earn and the child support you receive. If you don't like the schools in your district, move to one you do like. Don't expect the other parent to fund your likes or dislikes or your fantasies for your children that you can't afford especially if the other parent is not in agreement with them. No!
Exactly what I think when I hear these parents talk about it! This kids don't need private school, gymnastics, football, and 200$ shoes! Its ridiculous live within your means if you guys cant afford it, even with child support already coming in, then you can't afford it! Simple as that!

What about those mothers who have no parents around?? Or even grandparent in good health?? I’m on of those people. I don’t have kids now.. however if I did I would have to be a housewife.. not work to take care of the kids. I have no family around to help. Several of my aunts sick. All of my cousins are all over the country. Or have lot of kids and a job. So just be careful with how word things. There some of us out here.. really alone in this motherhood role.
@@MasonStrutton it makes me sad that you’re saying your children don’t get enrichment and experiences and you think thats good for them because you wouldn’t want to pay. I have a degree in developmental psychology, and I need you to know that’s not okay. I don’t know your situation but I hope that someone is working with those children to make sure they are learning skills and becoming well rounded. I, also, live 12 hours away from family. We moved across country for my husbands job, but even still why is it my families job to care for my kids? Why should i pull my children out of extracurricular activities that benefit there coordination, social development, and intellectual development. I think thats selfish.
@@iceprincessnc my point is child support is outdated and needs to be reevaluated. Because I know a lot of women of get 1-3k/month on their children from their baby daddy’s
This is a good judge, however, why in the hell does the Father have no say on where the kids go to school or extra activities? BS BS BS
That coffee mug always find a way to her hands 😂😂😂😂 faithfully
The Judge was WRONG. The lady said school tuition was 1200. Plus 450.00 that's 1650. NOT 2000.
“Private school” and daycare at these ages are about the same costs. $2000 a month is about average for full-time daycare and before & after-school care.
Pretty much. Ppl don't realize how expensive childcare is.
Exactly so it’s better to have your 3 year old in school than be paying child care.
I have a sincere question: if he is okay with his kids going to public school, why should he be forced to pay for private school?
Agreed.
If they are doing a 2,2 5,5 schedule doesn't that mean they have split custody?
That’s correct which is why they split the expenses.
So wich to me mean mom over stepped and did not get his consent to for his kids to go in those thing.
@@richardrabe7940 That's rather why I figured there weren't grounds for an increase.

How she pay all that at 9.50 an hour. Something not mathing. I’m only 2:19 in and I see red flags. Not to mention you don’t need to do private school. Especially making 9.50/hr.
SHE'S BITTER🤣🤣
I don't agree that the woman should determine what the kids do. If the dad doesn't want them in private school why should she get more money for it? It's her decision. The mom is like I want my kids spoiled, pay more bc I cant afford it.
But those children don’t need to do extracurricular activities so if Mom signed them up then SHE should pay.
Sooo if the dad can pay but the mom can’t they shouldn’t get to do stuff

Judge Vonda holds a very civil courtroom. Sweet and funny too .
The future wife can file "Injured Spouse" to keep her portion of her refund from going towards child support.

I do not agree with the principles of this reenactment:
As a woman, I think this is completely BS.
Simple as that!
so these are actors????
I will say, some of these folks do look familiar.....🤨
I would have argued about the private school being they both are teachers. That’s money out the window at that age
She’s a janitor
She's a janitor and wants better for her kids.
I agree with you 💯 when it could be going towards college fun
Technically they don't "need" private school, but on another note it's sad the guy wants to do the bare minimum ordered.
I couldn’t afford to send my 6 year old to gymnastics nor my 3 year old to private school - so I didn’t!
the math isnt mathing at all. she makes 9.50 but is paying 300 for insurance and extra activities AND private school?!
9 bucks a hour ?🤷🏾♂️
3yo in private school? Ridiculous! This whole case is bogus. Extracurricular activities have to be agreed upon by Both parties.

He was right. She's mad that he's moved on. Now he's being punished for it
6:33 “oooo so you hurt her feelings”😂💀
She's making 9 dollars, but the kids going to private school!!!
So The Kids are $2,000 monthly but she makes 9.50@hr 40=380x4=$1,520 monthly 🤔 what about every other bills she has. It just don't make any sense.
Facts...
Sure doesn't make sense..at $9.50 hr she can barely afford public school for the children
Makes $9/hr and wants me to believe she's paying $1500 for tuition, $350 for "extra curricular activities" and $350 for insurance...plus ostensibly food housing etc...cap, complete cap
Why do they need private school
She's bitter. How she paying for private school on 9:50 an hour. She's like. Ain't no way.

3 year old in private school is outrageous. Do they mean daycare? If there are 50/50 with these kids, why don't he have a say in what the kids do and what gets payed for?
If she wanted the child in private school, he shouldn't have to pay for it unless it was agreed upon. He needed an attorney.
