I think you might be sitting a bit too close to the camera for it to track better

Unfortunately the patch will be a ps5 upgrade. The PS4 version will remain the same, and that’s the version that works for psvr. Sony has said there are currently no ps5 version games that will work with psvr :(

I’ve been playing PSVR on PS5 with zero issues. It’s fully compatible.

It seems you are too close to the ps camera. The psvr tracking sweet spot is between 5 ft to 6.5 ft from the camera depending of the game you play. It is the distance that maximise the tracking volume and accuracy. The ps camera can also been angle down or up if necessary. Usually i place the camera slightly above head level slightly angle down for standing gameplay. I place the camera at chest level normal angle for sitting gameplay.
Blood & truth is an amazing game !! Blinder when moving can be disable in the setting for people that can handle free locomotion in vr. The experience is even better with full field of view :))
I would say that it actually depends on the person I actually use glasses with VR just fine without any blurry issues
Maybe. Its also very sensitive to get just right. If its too far up, its burry, too low, and its blurry. My girlfriend also used her glasses just fine

Seemed like you tried a VR game you hadn’t tried out on PS4. I was hoping you might do a comparison to how a PSVR game runs on PS4 vs PS5 . If frame rates improve in the goggles or whatever. I did enjoy the video regardless. I may need to get that game!
I set mine up for the first time. I had to move my PS5 to the living room so I had enough play space and room for all of the cables. So many damn cables
Sell that vr one its old you need the V2 so when hdmi its HDR 4k full yours wont do hdr pass you need thr newer one 👍

60 to 120 depends on your tv or monitor

Question for you guys. I put in the request to sony to get an adapter 10 days ago. Shortly after they sent me an email saying someone would reach out to me about my request but I haven't heard anything back. Did anyone else have to wait for them to reach out or did they just send you one? I've tried calling them multiple times but can never get through due to high call volumes

What I do is I keep my psvr in a room with my ps4 and always have it connected. In my room I have my ps5 just by itself. But I would want it connected to the ps5

Hello. Can VR be used as a display? I am a truck driver and cannot install the TV in cabin.
Yes, it takes any hdmi input and mirrors it on the screen.
Can I play even GTA5 in VR?

@@Dany-yz3qk if it uses hdmi, it will mirror it as a monitor. It wont be in full 360 vr, but it will be your own personal monitor. You can keep the oight blocker face interface thing for a closed off experience or take it off to see the real world with your peripheral vision. If you want i can take a video of how it works so you get a better idea. The default monitor setting isn’t very good but all you need to do is connect the psvr to any ps4 or ps5 console once to change the settings and it will remember it forever. I’ve personally played many flatscreen games through the vr heads and even as a computer monitor. Both versions of the headset will work the same in big picture mode, although the v2 is slightly more convenient to use and is more reliable. Both will work fine, though.

Hey man, i had the same issue. I kept getting an error page. I was just clicking the google link that came up after i searched “psvr camera adapter for ps5” Go to sony.com and look through the directories and find the page for the adapter. Worked right away for me.

I’m only just seeing these comments as a while back youtube made you use a separate new gmail account as a user id and I’ve lost track of a everything... anyways. Did you get your adapter? Mine is still shining away in its packaging until I get a ps5. I have such a large backlog of games that I’m not the slightest bit worried. Ive been playing all the new content on my series X. I will be getting nervous when the psvr2 comes out. I’ll try to snag a one of those depending on availability. Lol

Camera is working. Vr setup and backlights coming in. Just no screen or recognition or accessories options.

Even PSVR 2nd gen would limit the PS5 to HDMI 2.0 which means no 120hz support

I have connected psvr to ps5 for first time and everything is connected but I can see 2 screens. I am unable to find option to go into VR mode. in PS4 we used to press option button to get options and from there we could select VR mode. Nothing happen in ps5 while selection options and I am unable to find how to transfer two screens to VR. Do you know where is the option in PS5?

What about games that use a regular controller? I got my ps4 controller to work with the ps5 but can't get the bar to turn red on the controller so I can play VR games.
Wonder if the USB adapter will let the ps4 camera work on windows PC's for zoom Skype etc or if PS5 will finally get zoom/skype.
thanks, finally a clear video that explains everything, just one question, does the breakout box causes any frame drops or input delay on the ps5 ? i have the breakout box v2 but i was wondering if games that run on 60 fps would drop cause of the pass through.
A pass-through shouldn't do that, they normally just act like a signal splitter but the second copy of the signal is going to the headset

I'm having a problem with bobbing on the ps5. I can play Blood n Truth on ps4 and it works fine, when i connect to psvr to ps5 things like tables move up and down like they're floating. Any ideas?
Probably just have to wait for updates. They had a warning when playing some ps4 games on ps5 that some may be buggy
@@GodWeenSatan I've read that the camera picking up the slightest of vibrations can cause the effect I described, it's strange that it's just started when everything is in the same place. Gonna give it a try and hope it's nothing to do wuth latest firmware. Every game I've got is doing it
Sounds like your PS5 is haunted, mine is too, get you a psychic medium who specializes in paranormal phenomena. Cost me $700 for the first visit, she said she should be able to rectify the problem with a few more seances ($700 each), and one or two cleanses ($150 each), unless it turns out to be malevolent spirits in which case she'll have to get help from her friend who's an exorcist (she didn't quote me but said he is pricey, price depends on how evil the spirit is).

I'm a bit confused. The PS5 comes with an HDMI 2.1 cable. Would using these cables on the PS5 maximize the PSVR's power? Or does it not matter what type of cables we use for the headset itself?

ugh I learned this 55 pounds later after finding the ps5 camera isn't compatible with vr and the adapter was intended for the ps4 camera. ugh trade in it is.
