Wonderful place. I'm watching from Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Around 70 something miles away. It's funny, to us, imo anyway, that seems like a long way. To our fellow Americans and Canadians, that's similar too a drive to the park Lmao. I don't know why, stumbled upon this guy yesterday. This is the 2nd video I've watched. First one was doubles to Fairbanks. This guy just seems like a chill kinda guy. Makes the job look far more glamorous than what it is. I like this lad. Sound guy. I'm just wafflin on for no reason.
Its great to see you again, been awhile. That Bergundy truck is a great truck, just needs a larger wheel base is all. Give the 2001 town hauler truck to a newbie, because we won't be driving it lol. Watching your video's brings joy to my soul, thank you Dawson!
Thanks for explaining about the strapping techniques. We are continuing to pay for baby Winston and the family!🙏. I remember when you drove this truck and wondered where it drove off to 😃. Hee-hee-----are you going to handle the hats or your blessed wife with 4 kids to care for? You have an amazing family!! 👩👩👧👦 I get a kick that you talk to us and it make me feel like I'm there with you; at age 75 and with health issues I truly appreciate you, Dawson and how you tell us about the family and the company you work with. God Bless and be SAFE!!
Videos are absolutely brilliant mate. Really enjoy watching them and seeing what you get up to on your journeys. Such a chill guy and so relaxed it helps me relax too 😁 god bless U and your family. Stay safe mate all the way from the uk
Love watching your videos man, never drove a truck but I used to ride with my Dad. You always seem calm even in shitty weather. I couldn’t do it man. New subscriber.
Hello Dawson, I'm one of your new subscribers and so far, I have been enjoying your content and the videos that you put out. As always keep up the good work man.
Dawson bud great 👍 trucking 🚛 video 📹, I'm guessing as you make these videos 📹 in the coming weeks it's going to get a lot worse snow ❄️ and weather wise, ? Be safe out there bud 🙏 👍
Hi Dawson, "hey rookie" 😂 I nevah knew abt over or under strapping 😂. I never think of you as anything but a pro. man! Your camera was right on ya, no worries. I come to ride the roads vicariously w ya. . My M.S. took my trunk out now too. I have only a walking permitt.! 😄 🤣 I lived to drive ,too irronic!. Thanks for driving and chatting w us. Love It Stay safe my man! Peace ✌️ ☮️
Congrats on the family being back home together and keep up the safe driving. I am about all healed up from my shoulder surgery and looks like I found a job with a local company. Should be released to work end of next week and start driving shortly there after. I had luck and found this company and interviewed and looks like it’s a done deal right out of the gate. I will be hauling flatbed so this video was spot on for me. I enjoy your videos and hope to see ya on the road someday.
Dude I love your video and I’m working on getting my CDL and hearing what you have to say is awesome I do drive off road truck and haul equipment and I’m also here in Alaska lol
Hey Dawson, love your content ! Could I know what camera you use ? It's doing a pretty good job in low light 👌 Wish you the best for you and all your family this year
I was taught go down outside rubrail back up and secure end to rail. That assures you if strap were to come loose the end won't drop to the ground or start swinging in the wind. Always inside the rail with chains simply because the deck is much stronger to have the chain up against the rail can bend easily.
Another thing what the speed limit over there and how many hours can you work each day Here in the uk Driving Hours 9 hours daily driving limit, this can be increased to 10 hours twice a week Maximum of 56 hours weekly driving limit Maximum of 90 hours fortnightly driving limit
We can drive 15 hours a day and be on duty for 20. 80 hrs a week I think. Much different hours of service in Alaska as opposed to the rest of the United States
Just imagine-Russian warships arrive in Barrow and troops take the entire town hostage. They move down the Dalton highway-till the US military crushes them. Nonetheless your son will be so proud of his dad for many years to come. Hope God keeps you safe on those treacherous roads.
Watching from Lake District, England ! great content

I appreciate that man. He’s going great so far thanks for asking!
@@TheAlaskaTrucker Before you know it, he will be a teen begging for money from the daddy bank! Time flies
What he said! Thanks for the ride. You're so laid back about road weather. Was hoping you weren't in that wreck last night.
It was about an hour behind me. Super unfortunate
Been watching for the last 4 months, love the content, you have a awesome wife and I hope your son is doing well.
Just discovered your channel some days ago. Really enjoying it! Wish we would have trucks like these around here where I live. Greets from Germany
Good to see such a professional attitude in a young bloke. Good to see it being done in the cold after +40deg C in Australia

Making me homesick for Kenai lol. Sucks there aint much snow for guys tho.

Good stuff💪🏽
All safety checks are as important as the next!! Never to safe!!!
Something I think you’d like a hot logic I have one in my semi and love it to heat food up
Are you just doing overs or gut wraps too?
👍👍
👍
nonsense addressing all that negativity. You enjoy them pete's :D I enjoy your content whether or not your straps are inside or outside the rail haha
Weather has been so bad in Anchorage/valley lately.
Five, over.
LTL is Less than truckload Mark. meaning several deliveries on one trailer. Todd the retired trucker.
Can you show me in the back of your unit sleeping compartment we have northing like what your driving in the uk
Have you ever had to put snow chains on sale when you are on the road?
Oh yeah more than a few times
The same route isnt boring...
What’s an LTL flatbed? Anything related to a Ford LTL9000?
Less than truck load. An LTL flatbed load would be like a flatbed load with multiple items being delivered to multiple locations
Be safe
Be careful but I seen Jakes lock up wheels put you in a slide on slippery roads that's coming from a veteran of 40 years trucking.
Likes here Dawson thank you :)
do you ever wear a seat belt

Try some pork rinds with that chili went you can …
New video!
Thats not a snow storm drive from Buffalo ny to Cleveland Ohio I 90 along lake Erie
Gotta make the caption sound catchy 😉
American truckers don't have shit on Canadian truckers. You didn't drive through shit at all. But it was a good video.
We have fairly identical weather my friend. Not my first snow covered road 🫡
