Yeah. Hate to break it to ya. Larry is a punk. He tried to bring a gun to a knife fight and still got showed up. Then he got mad and tried to go cheat in Street Outlaws and got tossed outta there too (and caught an ass whoopin' from Bobby Ducote 😂). To me, Larson is bad sportsmanship incarnate.

I figured 'Mad Max' would be black , not taxi cab yellow.
The yellow was the OG color before it was black.

What engine is he running?
I believe he is still running a 540 BBC. Thats what he pulled out of Mad Max and put into the ‘57 way back when. It could be the same basic engine going back into Mad Max.

Far as I know, he's been running the same basic twin turbo 540 big block that he has since forever. He has a guy local to him in Pennsylvania that builds em for him if I remember correctly?
You know every 90 deg. in your tubing will reduce air flow. Always design a setup to minimize bends in intake and exhaust. Same thing happens in your 90's on fuel and oil fittings. Beautiful car, just dont like the header and air intake tube.
Just put more boost to it

May not even be installed all the time? I forget how this car is but the street to strip conversion that a lot of drag and drive cars do at every track can be pretty wild.

It’s his favorite color and was the original color of the car.
Obviously you guys have never sat in a black race car while waiting in the staging lanes . I agree black is beautiful, but it's at least twenty degrees warmer in the car , especially if you can't open the windows .

Thank Larson and Bailey. Used to not need a steel body class and an ultimate class. But them boys couldn't respect the spirit of the event. So Mister Lutz has to sit the children down and put them in their place. I hope he crushes the single pass record and the average record and wins the week so we can go back to actual street cars.
