It's that time of year again! Sick Week 2024 is off to a cracker of a start! Day 0 is test and tune/tech so not everyone made a pass but those who did got us excited! Possibly the most exciting is Jeff Lutz coming back and ripping off 2 low 6's! The passes weren't even clean so we're hoping to see some 5's this week! The variety of cars, the level of competition, and tropical Florida is a recipe for the ultimate drag and drive experience and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

Hey Fred the position you were standing in while you were showing the down track shots of the car crossing the finish line and showing the time and mph was completely obstructed by a massive glare on the time board in the right lane and of course in most cases when you repeated the time and mph of the car was drowned out by other cars preparing to make their pass and doing their burnouts so most of the time we could hardly hear you and when you tried to show the time of the car in the right lane we couldn't see it because of the glare from the lights in the pits so that is something to work on for next time when they come back to Orlando but otherwise I enjoyed the video just like usual when I'm watching any drag racing videos that you guys put out and when you're on the road covering the drag and drive events makes things that much better because we get a video every day for a week and most of them are 30+minutes long which is a pleasure in itself and then after I watch 1320s video of the day during the event I go and watch every other UA-camr's video of the day during the event and I don't need to watch anything else

We watched it with Alex Taylor and now she’s a host for MotorTrend. I was the same age as her when I 1st started watching 1320 and now we got Blain doing it all over again, so awesome to watch
Absolutely love that guy with the old pro mod with dodge engine in it. That's what racing is about you dont need a 50 thousand dollar engine to get out there and have a blast!!

Came close to applying some yellow to the wall on that first pass.
He mentioned in an interview with hot rod awhile back that every thing he has learned 1/8 mile racing and getting a car out of the hole was going to hurt some feelings whenever he went 1/4 mile racing again. Im sure he’ll be laying down some numbers as the week goes on.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in South Florida. I grew up in an area that I could see all the space shuttle launches from my back yard there is nothing more exciting as a kid to watch that live! Especially the night launches it felt like you could watch them for 30 mins. Just 1 of the many many reasons I love FREEDOM FLORIDA!

Tom is hosting the event. Cleet has the platform to stream it. Why not use it? Racing cost a lot of money. Of course they have to make money. You get great coverage in return and it’s not like they are charging an unreasonable amount.
