I have the same thought, Jeff. There is almost a whisper when they harmonize together. George's harmony here is beautiful. Tammy's voice is just as beautiful. The two of them had the most unique voices. The clip showcases this. They sang another song after this one. Try to find it.

I don't remember the year but Tammy was giving a concert close to Lou. Ky. A number of us went to see her, and her and George hadn't been divorced too long. Tammy had just recently married the piano player in her band. After she had sang about six songs when out from behind the state curtain came George Jones, you could tell Tammy's expression was like all those in the audience she was as surprised as everybody else was. George took Tammy's hand and they sang about six or seven songs together, George just bowed and left. What a great thrill it was to see and hear Tammy and George singing together. It was a wonderful night, one I'll always remember. Seeing the two Icons and Legends of Country music performing together was totally unexpected and what a super night it turned out to be. .

When I was very young my dad let me help him rebuild the engine to a '75 Mustang that he picked up cheap. It took us about six weeks worth of after school hours and weekends to complete. It wasn't a race, it was just being together that mattered. After it was finished we would take the car out just for the sake of the ride that summer with this album in the 8-track. He would allow me to select the gear whenever he pushed in the clutch. For a 12 year old boy this was the best. I miss this kind of music and I miss my dad.

Not everyone knows this kind of love and pain. I don't necessarily recommend it, yet some are fated to it. If you know it, you know it. And you know you know it; although you cannot properly describe it to others who haven't known it themselves. Therefore, it is a lonesome sorrow, hard to comfort. Regardless, it changes you forever.

I know the pain firsthand of loving someone so very, very deeply that I couldnt be with because of alcohol. I know he loved me and I still love him and always will. He’s been gone 15 years and not a day goes by that I dont think of him and wish he was still here. It was so sad to see Tammy and George cry for the love they still had for each other.

You know damn well Tammy loved George till her end, the way she always looked at him, it was LOVE !!!! BUT there is nothing worse than loving someone so much and still not be able to help them, I've been there and done that , BUT I still love the guy to this very day and had hoped one day Larry and I could of finally got it together, but it still hasn't happened yet !!!

***** There is NOTHING wrong with being sensative. It actually means you tend to care for something other than yourself...My first marriage was one sided. I cared too much...18 years worth...Now I am married to a man that cares more about my emotions and well-being than himself...It actually took a little time for me realize I was worth it and my hubby MAKES sure I know it. You don't worry about crying in your drink...I wish I had a penny for all the tears I had cried in my drinks those 18 years. :)

About six months after George and Tammy were divorced Tammy gave a concert in Lou. Ky. at a supper club, she was on her sixth song when George came out on stage. Tammy was as surprised as everybody was, they sang five of their hits and George left, what a thrill it was to see these to great singer's back together.
