  • After Jim Harbaugh left for Michigan, many thought Sherrone Moore was a slam dunk after he had performed well in an interim role in wins over Penn State, Maryland, and Ohio State. But six months later, is it still sitting well with the Michigan Faithful? Is he the guy?

Great analysis. A lot of players ran out of eligibility and JJ left so it might be a bit of a down year but Sherrone Moore was the best choice for sure.

They still got pieces on defense from last season. Last year the heart and soul of the team was the defense and the offense was decent but wasn’t great.

On staff they could've chosen Sherrone or Minter. That's it. I believe Michigan probably wanted Kalen Deboer more than Sherrone but he had already gone to Bama. They made the only decision that made sense. What other big name coaches would've even agreed? Brian Kelly? I don't think he wanted anything to do with the poor recruiting classes Michigan has had to live with.

Hiring a first time coach for this program initially seems like a mistake, although ND did do the same hire with Freeman. This should have gone to an experienced coach, but they did this to keep the same culture and scheme of Harbaugh’s. Time will tell, but the direct comp is Notre Dame’s MF, they both need more time unlike an experienced coach.

It's a gamble, and they probably should have looked for a big name, but at least this way, you can say you gave a black guy a shot at head coach for a couple years........can't be hassled about that for the next 20 years now, whomever is coaching there.

Best hire ever for Michigan was Connor Stalions. He recorded all the other teams signs and signals illegally 😅

I hear your Bucknuts are pretty good at stealing and sharing too. Coach Moore was the best hire ever, obviously. He beat Ohio as the OC and outcoached and out schemed Day for 3 years. Keep riding that Stallion.〽️🏈

Connor Stalions was the first choice, but unfortunately he is in the witness protection program.
Besides, the snowflakes love Sharona’s tears.

Isn't it funny Michigan's greatest hire according to the excuse makers was Connor Stalions. That being said I wonder why their programs continue to pay hundreds of millions to players and coaches when a $50K a year man can take them all down?

No, actually you’re who is funny. The NIL era is here and your ride is over. Besides Ohio State…Oregon, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Miami, USC and a host of others are loading up with elite players.
You’re not taking down the elite teams any more because your fifth year players all graduated, your coaching staff is all but gone and you’re ace-in-the-hole spy boy is now missing in action.
      Sanctions are coming as well.
      It’s been fun …you’re done.😂

No, he was rewarded for loyalty. However, he has been set up for failure.

@@danielchavira9968yeah, their all the way up to 15th and after winning a Natty. What’s that tell you?
They aren’t getting elite players. Teams in the top ten are getting four and five star talent.
You can dream you’re going to compete with these teams…you ain’t.

@@jimmy5634 the 2022 and 2023 teams weren’t even highly rated talent, especially the class that won a natty was ranked 14. We could also talk about how Ohio State had the number 2 recruiting class in 2021 with an NFL caliber QB that won NFL rookie of the year this past season who never beat Michigan. Also we aren’t done yet with recruiting and we have a lot of 4 stars in there but stars aren’t everything we have a great developing program and that’s what we do develop players.
