Respect for Babalola for academics. But Stanford’s football program is messed up. Sure they won a heartbreaker in Colorado last year but if he’s serious about football in the BigTime UM provides a ticket to stardom.
Hey guys, curious to know your thoughts on why we're losing players like Watts and Archie to teams like Wisconsin and Rutgers??? It's one thing to lose a guy like Roy to the Buckeyes, or Jones to the Aggies. For those two teams, it's clearly an NIL issue. But there's no way we should've lost Watts and Archie??? Especially considering how good our OLines and LBs have been the past 3 years. Is it a playing time issue? So...what gives?
I forgot to mention...this recent trend doesn't bode well for landing Babalola. If we lose him to Stanford, then there needs to be some legit explanation given. Can't be losing guys like him, Watts and Archie to inferior programs.
Money, NIL and more money. Period. Michigan does not pay highschool players.
We need to stop blaming NIL…we lost 6 year Covid linemen/and others. We should’ve been recruiting replacements 3 years ago. IMO we just don’t have the years of being a good to great team. Kids grow up being impressed with a program…we don’t have that advantage. See OSU. We need to sustain or we lose all future recruiting battles as well.

Watts - Playing time and path to starting sooner was a major selling point for Watts
Archie - Michigan lead prior to the coaching change then the new staff cooled on him only to ramp it back up, but it was too late.
@@michaellocke5238it’s hard to not blame NIL when it is in fact part of the problem. Also using Covid year to bring in good players is just nasty. We won what 3 games that year?
I get players like academics. But if you are a student athlete. How is Michigan not #1?
All schools are paying, dont kid yourselves. Texas 22 mil, Ohio State 20 mil,LSU 20 mil, Georgia 18 mil, Texas A&M 17 mil and Michigan 16 mil

No, the same schools who always illegally paid players are still paying players, as are many or most others now.
Michigsn is not paying or guaranteeing anything, UP FRONT. They show prospects how much other players have made with NAME, IMAGE & LIKENESS licensing as the rules allow, through making legit deals through collectives & other outside deals thay are approved, signing events and camps. They say what can be expected and how they'll be helped and guided, BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING PAY FOR PLAY LIKE THE REAL CHEATERS ARE!!!
the leading indicator of what schools have always been the biggest cheaters and still cheat within the almost lawlwss current horseshit system, which is STILL a SCAM & a CRIME against the players by the ncaa, conferences, schools, networks, & individual radio & tv stations and all the advertisers & the fcc, is which fans, schools, coaches & thier media hacks call MICHIGAN cheaters!!!!!!!

Yes. I feel Michigan is regressing big time.
Olesh is going to Bama. That’s the news from Tuscaloosa anyways. Hope they’re bluffing. But they are offering money apparently. We obviously will not. Ann Arbor athletic director needs to wake up or we’re goin to end up 26th for 2025. We’ve already slipped to around 20th.
I know I heard that today also but to many Michigan fans and podcasters seem to think that NIL isn’t the reason for missing on the last 6 or so players. They think just because we are MICHIGAN that they will come. Reality is going to set in hard at the end of all this recruiting business.
