Thanks so much! Such a great and informative video. I was thinking about changing a PVC water pipe in my yard with copper, but I was afraid of doing that mostly because of the soldering part and had no idea about these connectors. Now I think I have a confidence to go for it :)
Thank you. This was very helpful. Had some frozen pipes in the garage ceiling that I didn't want to pay someone to come in and re-connect. Not crazy about sweating solder. Got me going in the right direction. Can't thank you enough for putting this together and sharing!
Great video. As a DIY-er I would prefer the non solder version. My aplication is to replace my house water main shutoff valve. On my side not the city side. I like the compression fitting the best because there is no rubber oring involved. But it has a tendency to leak. I dont like using fittings with rubber orings because rubber does not last as long when exposed to the weather elements. And I dont realy want to rent a crimping maching for 50 bucks a day.
Thank you for this excellent demonstration . Can the Press fitting ( the one with O ring) be buried under mortar inside solid plaster wall ? Would it tolerate slight foundation / wall movements in the long term? Thank you for reading

Excellent! Great info, clearly presented, and just what I needed to know! Thank you!
Seen some similarish videos on this subject but this is the most useful and comprehensive. Nice one.

If you watched this video give this guy a like. It's succinct.

Yeah compression fittings are a solid option.
What about fitting longevity? Would the O-Ring style fittings potentially leak due to degradation after several years? Great video! thank you
Generally I have personally not had an issue with this
Great video man! Simple explanations with full demonstrations. This made my soon-to-be-installed Laundry Tub project much easier.
Great to hear!
Thank you!

Yeah should be fine. I use the jg pushfit fittings and never had any issues
Super helpful. Thanks!
