Roland Fantom - Unboxing, Setup and Getting Started!

- My new Roland Fantom 06 just came in yesterday and I couldn't wait to start using it - and so come along with me while I unbox this beast and try to dive in and get started - Hint, I included my "next-morning" trying to get a sequence created video in order to help others who may just be getting started on this keyboard too. I thought it would be easy - but as I soon discovered - it's way different than a Korg! lol.

Keybeds never bothered me. I just adopt to them and that's the end of that! I received my Fantom 06 3 months ago and it's a stunning instrument with great sounds. There's a learning curve but they all have them. I hope that you're going to enjoy this great machine!

Great video, I just got mine today and was scratching my head when I found your video and wow I have recorded my first piece, and I feel confident I will get good stuff from this machine, it took me ages to get to grips with my JDXi but I think this will be quicker. thanks again.

its was nice to see ,how you experience your fantom06 ,but before i bought the 07 ,i saw lots of video's from roland .what you can do,sure i have to repeat some,because i forgot somethings. you save lots of time if you watch video's first. but im enjoy your experience,i subcribe you ,because you explain very good. thanx for sharing 👍👍👍

I personally go to D on my Fantom 8, because I've laoded up some Roland Clound expasnions containing mroe scenes and stuff. I got mine about 3 years ago and still learning how to use it. Heck ... still learning how to play. Indeed if you cahne something to a scene make sure you save / write te scene. Switching between scenes makes you loose all the changes you made to a scene.

Fantom 06 is light. It can be transferred.

Put a black outline around the letters in your captions. Or a shadow under them. Plain white type gets washed out against light or bright backgrounds and is hard to read.

the big brother fantom have v-piano , i think its same you have on cronos weighted keys you say .
There are actaully a few more zones I believe. I think Zone 1 on the Fantom is the only zone with Supernatural Piano sounds (on the Fantom, not sure if the Fantom-0 has that). I believe there is also a zone for the Organ engine. Not sure if it's 2 or 8 ... kinda forgot it since I'm not really using it. Zone 1 got me confused in the begining since it showed more piano tones than in zone 2. Took me months to figure out only zone 1 has SN piano's.
Yes I’ve noticed that too, some patches/sounds get lost when I switch Zones but pop up later on in menu - weird!
Great instrument but How can I export the tracks to a pendrive, for example?
Not 100% sure, should check it myself again, but can't you select the track in the pattern editor by pushing the number button for the zone above the faders ?
