@jamesc7577 no man it actually never feels bad in that situation, honestly unless you're racing on wide open flat ground I just don't see why anyone would want to pay 15 grand extra ? It will do anything the others can do , probably climbs better honestly, too much power just spins out , I think it's worth the money, just throw a clutch kit in it and it's like totally ready to go.
It's worth it man they actually run great and the shocks are really nice and the brakes are starting to break in a little bit I'll post an update after a little while
i just bought the gen 2 950 sport, think the 800 is same but big difference in normal and sport mode. we traded an 2022 800 trail for it and love it so far

Looking at upgrading my 500 trail to this or the 950 also. My biggest complaint is the seats and suspension on the 500. Sounds like this is noticeably better to you in those areas? Thanks!
Seats are great man, suspension is like a million times better , it's like night and day! I loved my 500 for stuff but the 800 is worth it , I promise you that , the 950 I'm not too sure on , I know for me that extra power and speed does no good on trails , unless they are wide open or you're racing
I know man I don't know why they made it that way, my other one like I said came with a horn and four ways and I could turn the headlights on and off and use fog lights, but this one doesn't come with any of that nor mirrors it's a bummer
I just bought a 2023 950 Sport Gen 2 a week ago and I love the machine so far. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have an E-Brake and you have to put it in park to keep it from rolling back when parked(duh lol) but it gets stuck in park with even the slightest incline and I feel like I have to forcefully rip it out of park and into gear. Does the 800 share the same issue?
Yes It actually does, I'm not sure why they didn't just put a regular e-brake in there like the old school ones had, it just made it a lot easier just to pull the e-brake up, I feel like it's really hard on a transmission the way they have it set up but yes I am having the same issues
@Kyle Gledhill Yeah, it definitely feels like it's going to cause me to break the park gear or the shift linkage. It's already thrown my shift linkage out of wack, it's hard to go into low now
I bet that 950 is insane power isn't it? The 800 is plenty for me after having the 500 I can't even imagine that 950 I bet that thing is a bad butt machine
