Sorry to take so long in getting back to you. If you're using 22 count hardanger fabric you will need a piece that is about 16" square (mine is 17"). The completed piece will be about 10.5" square. If you're using 25 count Lugana, then you will need a piece just a touch smaller. Hope that helps!
