The best part of an Indeimaus vid is the cinematic direction. The hard fights are shown to be hard, like an epic battle. I really enjoy that. And between the hard fights, there's great comedy relief. Very well done. Thank you for the great videos.

You introduced me to one of my all time favorite games with that Ender Lilies video. I've been gaming consistently and with variety for about 25 years at this point, and that game is in my personal top 5! So thank you Indeimaus. I likely wouldn't have found that game without that video, and even if I had I doubt I would've given it a chance as I thought I hated Metroidvanias before then.
I've always loved the artstyle of Ender Lillies, and god Ender Magnolia perfected that style so much. It looks so damn pretty. Also regarding whether to move on to Super System Shock or continue Metroidvania Month, if you don't mind letting the work of the other metroidvanias go then I don't see why not move on to System Shock.

I really gotta try these Ender games. Still havent played the first. As an aside, I bounced off HK multiple times for a couple reasons, but Silksong is so much bigger and taking so long that alone makes me wanna try it lol (in 2030 when it comes out in Early Access lol)

Oof still waiting and did not realize the gap. Anyways raved with that mix material drop, and as time waster games goes IDK content worthy, but having fun with a fishing game called 'Dredge'. It's not as fast paced as you normally play, but has that Cthulhu setting I don't want to give too much away of the plot. Oh! And best to play in the dark.
I'm totally good for Super System Shock, but if you want to try another Metroidvania~ish look for ANNO Mutationem, amazing design like VA-11 Hall-A ! As always, nice video! You're truly a source of inspiration as I start learning video editing

the first Ender Lilies was like a token 8/10 game for me - its only fault was being very derivative, but other than that it was extremely polished and fun. Will definitely look at the sequel at some point And yeah, I know that the whole spirit mechanic was theoretically innovative, but I just don't see a leap from "push the button so your character swings a weapon" to "push the button so a ghost swings a weapon for your character" as very significant
If you feel you'll have a better time with system shock, then by all means do it. This kind of video format lives and breathes on the author having fun.

Was really a great game with a unique twist of having spirits fight for the little girl.
Reminded me a lot of Valerie Profile Lenneth ish. Get souls of people, use them as unique attacks..... God I wish SE would release those games on PC
