I absolutely love both guys content, Tomley is for informational videos on all the “techno Babel“ and kev for the durability test, they are the perfect offsets to one another. Keep up the awesome work guys
It won’t be a challenge.. I love hot food. But prefer a slightly milder vindaloo or a madras so you can actually taste it lol. I’ll be back soon for sure 👌
This was so awesome. Very impressed with you guys getting together for a race and a laugh. Dang, Tomley is a big unit. More of these races would be awesome.
I expect, after a year, Kevin will become the first in the world in the rc hobby. He shoots movies with all his heart, laughs, teaches, breaks, mends, and gives everything he owns to his friends who are with him. You really revived the hobby again throughout the world.
Cant tell you how heart warming it is to see you all getting on so well. As you guys are many peoples go to for the rc hobbiest i think it does a lot for the hobby to see you get on so well. Great upload Mr T.
That's what this hobby is all about. I race hard and try to win....but if I don't win,...crash out. Break, etc. I still have a huge smile on my face because fun is what it is truly all about. Great job guys.
I just want to say, it is so good to finally see you two guys side by side for the love of the hobby. I've been a follower of both your channels for a while and I enjoy the content you both produce. This is a great thing to see and this is exactly what it should be all about. Well done guys.. 😉👍
It is so cool when youtubers get together. Everyone is so respectful, it's always a good time. It's been a while since you've raced, I think this is your first racing video this year.
I'm really glad to see you two racing and getting along. There is room for both styles of racing and bashing on the web. Watch both your channels buds. Keep it going.
Really enjoy your videos. I have been into rc for 25yrs now but just don’t have the time it seems anymore. But my kids ages 7-13 watch your videos and really enjoy the good clean fun. Glad there are still people like you around for the new generations.
Love your videos. You inspired me to pick up the hobby again and now I am involving my son. We are enjoying driving and some light bashing. My wife loves it that we do this together now and I show him how to change parts. Thank you.
Well done mate it’s good that everyone can see that you guys can put your differences aside and have a bit of fun that’s what rc is all about. I’m so proud of you !! you’ve come along way Kev 😊
This is what the RC hobby is all about! Hanging out with friends and having a good time! It's currently winter where I'm at so I haven't gotten out much lately but I've been doing some custom builds and upgrades. Soon it'll be spring and racing will be back on! I can't wait to meet up with friends and get some racing going again.
Not sure how much you guys know about RC Racing setup, but as someone whos been racing 1/12 On road i thought id share the basic knowlege: Spring Rates: how much the cars weight transfers, and so softer front springs will make more front end steering, stiffer will make it less nosey. of course similar for the rears but can control oversteer in a similar fashion Damper Oil: Thicker oil slows down weight transfer, so if you are struggling with mid-corner you might have too thick front damper fluid. Droop: How much the car "Sits" when the weight of the car is put on the suspension. more "droop" allows more weight transfer Gear Ratios are calculated using a "Rollout" which is how far the car travels from 1RPM of the motor. There is a number of apps which can help calculate this, when at a new club ask some of the members what rollout theyre using Of course in buggies it is a lot more complex, and this is the complete base-level basics. The best bet as a beginner is to set the car to complete "Out-of-Box" settings and just drive it, learn how and when to brake, turn accelerate and learn the hand-to-eye coordination. Focus on being consistent and not crashing, you might even want to turn your motor power down so you can incrementally pick the pace up. Once you are out-performing the car thats when you can look at changing setup
GO NOAH!!!! I thought about what I was going to say about NOAH’S mother….“a child can’t control his mother’s life choices”. Good luck Noah. Please don’t think that altered appearance is important in life. 😢
You all should come together and try for a long jump competition next. Or maybe a "Top Gear" style challenge where you bring a car to compete in three different challenges.
Not your BIGGEST hater. I think that was me and this whole saga has won me over as well. The wholesome competition between you two has been enjoyable and kinda heartwarming. Cheers!
So great to see all the different videos on this race. I loved all the different rigs, the different skill levels and great attitudes. Looked like a blast.
You, your mechanic and the car did a very good job. It was nice to see all the UA-camrs together. Everyone seem to have fun. I made a suggestion on one of the other channels that you all get together and for another race and some how tie into a charity fundraising race. I enjoyed watching. Keep up the good work.
I would love to see : One Day Build and Race ! You bring everything to the track and build from scratch. Then race with what you got. No days, or weeks of fine tuning. Maybe a few tuning races and time limits on the build. If you finish the build first, you get more practice runs.
Awesome!! I'm just a local racer racing at a simple backyard track. The best advice I have is if you're going to race against another racer, you need PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! Building your car at the very last minute is the last thing you want to do. The car you are driving is more than capable of destroying anyone if you have the RIGHT SETUP. There are countless things to adjust on the car. The suspension is almost infinitely tunable. Hope you try again soon and love the channel
Good to see some healthy banter! Should do an unlimited build. Choose a scale or wheelbase and allow anything goes within that wheelbase/scale type race/ build on a natural terrain type course.
I’m pretty sure you have much bigger haters than that bro but I’m not one of them. Congratulations. Good to see both. You guys enjoy the hobby together.💯
Not just entertaining to watch, but great for RC. With Gavin to Noah and everyone in-between, way to show how to be inclusive without any fuss and lots of smiles. Liked the suggestion already posted about you all doing a Top Gear style series of challenges.
Love it get the UA-camrs together for all sorts of racing bashing etc . Everything from Tamiya vintage to x max bashing . I watch you all and each of you bring different styles and different vehicles etc but kev your the best and most entertaining. Cheers
UDR match-up would be a blast to watch in the future. Really glad you guys all had fun together! Hopefully we'll see a bit more of Tomley meet up with you on the bashing side too! Love his content on budget R/C-ing!
That was fun to watch. The way y’all put it together took what I would consider a slightly boring type of racing to watch and made it a lot of fun. Truly not putting it down at all as I can tell it would be a lot of fun to participate because of everything that goes into it. It’s like golf or bowling, I love doing both but I only want the highlights when I watch it.
You two have chemistry together anyway as a none RC car fanatic I was surprised at how much modifications and set up a car needed that should have been perfect out the box.
I think that it’s awesome for people like you and your friends to go out and have fun instead of everything turning into a competition. It would be cool if you could get a bunch rc youtubers together again and try to do a budget build race. The car could be based on like a traxxas bandit or something. I know how much you don’t like 2wd cars but I think that it would be nice.
Dude! This is one of my favorite videos you've made in a while. I found myself laughing out loud at moments. Thank you for being an inspiration for me in this fun hobby. WA USA
