It didn't go to plan, but what happened is still an epic story!

- This is the epic story of what happened when I tested my unique drone based speed cars at ROSSA Round 3 2024 at Elvington UK.
Thanks again to Rob at Yes Mate RC Mann for supporting the project!
See the playlist for the full history of the project.
You are a pioneer and i cant wait to see this progress to what we all know it can do.
Great job Steve keep at it. Innovation is never easy. Nor should it be? Your hard work is being noticed.
@@JohnHaggerty-no5dl thanks for watching John, yes as I said if it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing! Thanks for recognising the hard work, it was a crazy summer designing and making the car in 3 months. I have some great ideas for videos to come so keep an eye out for those 👌
Great effort Steve. Very unlucky with the Beast, but I guess this is all part of the process with building a car from scratch. Good lessons learned i expect.
Onwards and upwards through the winter. Good luck.
Outstanding video again. Great quality coverage. Shame about the car. Time to rebuild..
Hi Chris, thanks for watching and for the complementary comment! Yes I'll make sure its running properly before the next event.
Nice Nice 😊
Hi Steve. I was there and watched part of your motor rewind. Never, ever seen that. 👏👏👏
Your dedication and hard work was amazing.
That Elvington surface was very, very hard for the smaller scales. Very surprised you even got a run out of the cone car, my Buri was such a scary handful I gave up after 2 attempted runs...
Really looking forward to 2025 and Llanbedr. I think you will get a 150mph cap from the cone and maybe the next cap from a simplified Beast.
👏👏👏
Hi Derek, thanks for watching and the compliments, its much appreciated. I probably should have realised I wasn't going to get anywhere with the cone too and stopped before the crash! Easy to say with hindsight.... And yes 2025 is going to be the year 👍🤞
It’s still good to see Innovation. I didn’t get the best results either that weekend.
@@wasa7 thanks, roll on next year's events 👌
Imagine if your hand-wound motor smashed the 200 barrier, that would have been epic-ness like never before :)
