  • Among Christians, interest in the Jewish roots of our faith is at an all-time high, and that's good. But along with it, some have lost balance and have made that interest an end onto itself, sliding into Law Keeping. The Book of Galatians speaks to that and has become a battleground within the Messianic movement and in the larger church as well. The confusion over
Law vs Grace and the very identity and place of both Jewish and Gentile believers are central to the conflict that this book addresses. We'll explore these core issues, and find Messianic Freedom within it.

As a non Jewish hwo pass on some Cristian denominations ( currently with no denomination, and I will keep that status)when I hear this teaching, something in my soul recognizes the truth. How deep is when hear a Jewish doing exactly the mission was given by the Creator, to be a light for nations. I watching you from long time brother Baleston, and many other Mesianic Jews, you are a true blessing for us hwo we was so confused by the ( systematic theology).

Hello, I'm glad this was helpful. Re the issue of "Denominations" you raised, the real Biblical teaching is that every believer was expected to be in regular fellowship with a local Bible teaching congregation for worship. That is the New Testament expectation for every believer. be well, Mottel

I'm glad you brought up the regional gods concept. Mark 4 makes a lot more sense now, why Jesus would get on a boat to go to a clearly gentile area, spring a man from possession and then leave again.
The side quest aspect of that always kind of confused me.

Always brings peace and joy to listen to a brother in Yeshua Ha’Massiach such as yourself Mottel! you were a big help along my path to understanding Jewish context/cultural perspective when reading the living Words of our Lord and saviour When I finally was born again by His absolute Love and Grace.
I’m so glad that these conversations are being shared and bring us closer together as it is God’s Will that we (both Jew and Gentile) through Christ Our Lord and Messiach become One, while embracing what makes us both unique, as we were made by Him) and for Him in His Name. The One True Living God, YHVH, Elohim of Avraham Yitz’ach Ya’acov, The truth the way and the life, Father Son and Holy Spirit, our Creator and Holy ADONAI- His Kingdom, His Grace, His Glory-both of us trusting in His Truth-not our own.
and discernment in His Word, especially that in Christ are ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and the beginning of knowledge is fearing The LORD:
I always try to pay attention closely to the Words of Christ even more so when it comes to prophetic sections that He reveals are fulfilled. I would love to hear your thoughts and especially given your unique Jewish perspective: on postmillennialism?
not a one sentence reply that could fit in the comment I realize….haha sorry Mottel…
It seems to make more sense as a perspective to Yeshua’s Authority and much of the prophetic versus we all ponder (Dan 9,Matthew 24Olivet/John 17/revelations etc) on and given the historical events of 1Century/70AD etc. As you mentioned some of these in your presentation (which I share those views on as much as I am beginning to learn.) and I don’t put my attention completely on these labels or camps but I know there can be good theology and harmful theology as well as any form of instruction or applications of study but given the topic at hand it is good we discuss these things so that we avoid division or even worse.
as your presentation points out it can become damaging and lead to falsehoods if we don’t appropriately identify fundamentals. Especially if we put our own narrative on it..
I’m not a historian-but in a way I guess no one truly is until they meet the TRUE HIStorian our LORD..) and to be fair He gives us a pretty thorough account!! but given there is so much amazing revelations in His Word-
I have found it helpful along with many other research and study tools, and constant prayers, in making sense of the passages and respecting the historical narratives revealed to us.
I know postmillennialism is a very wide topic of discussion on its own) it seems to line up better with text and history notations and hermeneutics etc and seems to keep short-sighted rhetoric at bay. As mentioned in your presentation when we unfortunately “spend our kid’s inheritance”.
Ok rant over and well done if you managed through it!
God bless you Mottel, thanks for your encouragement and wonderful passion and discussions! Christ Our Messiach and Lord be with you and continue to show His light and Love through you and ALL His people.
    Shalom/Peace brother.

@@messengersmessianicjewisho1058 thanks brother, I appreciate you taking time out of your very busy schedule to respond.
We could definitely use some of your wisdom and understanding up here-albeit you’ll need to bring a warm coat. (Or one could be provided!)
I appreciate all your work for the church and both jews and gentiles in Yeshua Ha messiach. Love you and keep safe and strong.

He said the Abrahamic Covenant is still in full legally force, but not the mosaic covenant, I’m guessing as far as Salvation goes… He is under grace under Yeshua… anyone want to elaborate on the distinction of not being under Moses covenant as a Jew?
