Jake was a an absolute beast and absolutely crushed it on that guitar solo. So bummed I never got to see him in Ozzy ( I was in jr.high ) and missed him in Badlands but my buddies got to see him. Badlands was so badass !!!
This is unbelievably cool! Ray was the greatest! I once read in a guitar magazing years ago that Jake had heard of a legendary jam with hendrix and johnny winter which ended up being the inspiration behind the guitar work on this song. Tnanx for posting this whoever you are and where ever you are. This is absolutely priceless!
I saw these guys at Ft. Wayne, IN opening for Tesla. Great White was supposed to be there but they cancelled. They had to fill time and they only had one album, so they jammed 45 minutes of music for an hour and a half! (Just like this vid) It was the most amazing performance I have ever seen, and I am fortunate to have seen it since things fell apart after that. (I think the album had only been out a month or 2, so all the original members were there.)
I saw them on this tour at the Boathouse in Norfolk, Va while I was in the Navy and luckily I saw Jake play with ozzy couple of times before this, love this tune brings back memories man!! RIP Ray and Jake where/when are u playin near me?!
I was at that show and was also in the Navy. I was at the Ozzy show in 84 in Salt Lake City that was pro shot. there are videos of that show all over you tube
@PEDROCLASSIC - I only saw Kingdom Come once when they were the first of 5 bands at Monsters of Rock back in '88. The bands played in this order, Kingdom Come, Metallica, Dokken, Scorpions, Van Halen. Anyway, KC were basically booed off stage. They played Get It On twice and after the second time, told the audience to F'Off and walked off stage.
mean guitar solo !!!!!wow what a ride on this rumblin¨train.every night a dirty lady in a different bed i see now Ray liked to play that russian roulette!

Badlands would have have taken the whole world by storm, if their time was not cut so short. Bless

🔥 Jake E Lee 🔥
crazy guitar !!!!!!
@PEDROCLASSIC Maybe he didn't like getting sweat in his eyes. That's why I wear one.
This shows that jake was a better guitar player than Randy! Jake never got the recognition he deserves.
I love them both but for different reasons, but to me it’s like apples and oranges.
Why the headband? people say his hair was falling off slowly
Is this the ONLY comment you can make about this track recorded! The music was mind blowing and you talk about losing hair???
Ray Gillan died of A.I.D.S.
That he contracted from a dirty needle
