Wow this is awesome, I have a diy cnc made from aluminium extrusions and sbr rails but want to stiffen it up with printnc design and welded steel base. Can I ask you what is the spindle's rpm on this cut if you don't mind?
To improve even more, use a more solid work surface, the chips on the board are jumping around indicating the shert of mdf may not be well supported. A solid slab of 20mm thick aluminium should stiffen it up nicely. But a nice result nonetheless!
My guess would be Fusion 360 (in the Manufactur workspace), partly because it looks exactly like Fusion tool paths, adaptive clearing and such, but mostly because he designed the entire PrintNc in Fusion :) It's a great CAD and CAM software :)
More a comment on my poor video skills than the machine sorry 😆 there is many examples of completed parts made on a PrintNC in both steel and Aluminium. The PrintNC Wiki PNCPro section has some great examples of parts made on a PrintNC for the PrintNC and this recent post on the Discord shows some incredible steel machining! imgur.com/a/UrK84mE
Perhaps you're confusing the PrintNC for another DIY of a similar name 😉 The PrintNC possibly the most rigid gantry type CNC routers in its (and many higher) price ranges. HGR20 Linear Rails, 1610 Ball Screw, and Large Steel Box Section Frame
I’m so excited, I have the kit and the steel, just printing everything now
This is worth watching over and over again.
So satisfying! 😄😄
Looking good. Chinese New year can't be over fast enough

how you calculate your speeds and feeds?

What tool were you using?
rpm?
what bit were you using?
Good job well done but why did the tool head crash at the end?
I forgot to turn off lead out on the Fusion CAM
Which program you use to prepare g code?
What spindle are you using?
Looks like 2.2kw
Currently building this cnc, what spindle are you cutting with?
That's a 2.2kw water cooled spindle. Same type that is included with the kits
@@KingAir350pilot is there a kit somewhere i can find ?
@@MaxValembois the kit is on aliexpress
what program did you used for coding that program?

What diameter endmill was this?
That's a 6mm single flute end mill from AliExpress
@@threedesign8999 can u share the link for This end Mill ?
impressive!
nice
I would use lower axial depth of cut for the better chip evacuation
Leads to uneven wear of the endmill. Heck an air blast probably would end this debate.
Very capable indeed !
Why all video demonstrating printnc aluminium milling won't show the final result I think it's not capable to mill aluminium perfectly

How is this possible. The printnc isn't super rigid.

Yeah this is not the MPCNC, this is a much more solid design.
its not the diycnc. i have been looking around and so far this style (with steel beams) looks to be the best out there
not the best program
