Loved the too and fro of this game. Fortunate for the Germans the the Russian flame thrower lost his spark 😁. Looking forward to part two but with Russian mortars and armour to come if the Germans don't receive some significant support I doubt they'll be able to hang on. Great game today, thanks Steve
Great game, table, and vid. I am excited to see what 3rd Edition brings. 2nd has been around almost 10 years I think and it still has a huge following. I hope they listen to the thousands of small tweeks the community recommended to improve the game without doing a complete overhaul nullifying the supplemental books.
I'm with you on that one. I'm no expert, but from what I've observed from Warlord Games, they like doing little tweaks. Which would be fine by me. Have a good one Shipmate!
I've never played BA but love WW2 games. Since 3rd is coming I will wait for it. Good to see your games playing. Probably won't but to much changes coming so worth watching to learn.

A brutal game with some of the flavour from what you read about the savagery of house to house fighting _ to be honest from what I have read the Napoleonics and other periods any time there was house to house fighting it was brutal. Looking forward to the next one with the addition of some HE. I haven't played BA or CoC - which would you recommend for starting?
Chain of command might be a bit more realistic and with more strategic flavor... Bolt Action is a bit more arcadey, faster and for tourney play. Both are awesome in my opinion. Just depends on your mood
I understand not wanting to be in a building during a barrage, but how often do trained/experienced soldiers run into the open when the shells start falling? And I really enjoy my Bolt action historical scenario games.
