@@vintagevelos9517 You rode that course twice. It amazes me that the second day was on the older 3 speed. It looks like such a wonderful experience. The flip flop was advanced back in the day. Can you imagine riding professionally back then with 2 gears and manually swapping the wheel? Those riders were a different breed. Wow. Thanks for the videos Dan. I truly enjoy seeing the older bikes. Keep cycling.
Dan definitely thinks that the flip flop takes more time than it’s worth, but I’m sure in its day those heroes were happy to find anything that just might make their long days easier. Whatever, heroic effort in the cold this year Dan, and congratulations on having the courage to tackle ‘the big one’ next year. I shall look forward to your grading of ‘cool’ ‘super cool’ and ‘wow!’ next year. I love L’Eroica’s beautiful shots, but your ‘human’ take right in the heart of it definitely brings the joy and pain to life. Thankyou.
@@vintagevelos9517 Quite well, actually. Due to the later start the cold was less of an issue, and the Disco di Brolio was in full swing 😁 : ua-cam.com/video/IaDPylJGszE/v-deo.html
It's almost like 100 years ago, they were riding on gravel and rough roads a lot, and the bikes were designed for it! And now people are doing it for fun as an option instead of smooth tarmac.😆
Stunning countryside and all those vintage bikes! Absolute heaven!! 🙏
Yep - planning on a "hot or not" video of bikes at next years L`Eroica... Dan
Great video as always Dan. Just love the vintage bicycles.
Well done on only 3 speed, absolutely beautiful day there and so many excellent people.💯👌🏻✌🏻🚴♂️
Stunning Dan just stunning
Tuscany - can`t fail, Dan
Fantastic! wish I was there. Maybe next year!
Should be on everyones bucket list, Dan
Excellent! Really atmospheric and evocative of the event. Well done!
Glad you liked it, Dan
Fantastic film.
Thanks, Dan
Incredible. With only 3 gears Dan. You have great courage. Fantastic. I hope you had a beer or 2 after.
3 gears - still way better than a flip flop... Dan

Another smashing good video,Dan.
I agree that old Fiat 500 looked nice.
Looking forward to seeing your next video.
All the best!
There were several classic Fiat 500`s at L`Eroica and they all looked great - resisting the tempation... Dan
Excellent reports, Dan! I was especially looking forward to this one. 🙂
How did you guys get on with Sundays ride? Dan

@@vintagevelos9517 It was a blast. Best ride of the year, together with the Belgian RetroRonde. 😍
Very interesting videos you make!!

Gravel is no fun
@@Stevehatesgravel I`d weigh in here and say tarmac is way nicer but out in Tuscany the gravel works for me, Dan
Thank god they invented tarmac
Agree with that, Dan
