No way is it ugliest vs that colnago. Brand name is why everyone is going nuts for that new frame. If it had a Chinese brand on it. It would be voted worst bike of the year.
I ride a Giant Propel and it’s the best I’ve had. I previously rode Cannondale Suoer6 Evo, love them both. For your review, I wish I could have the EF Cannondale paint job on the Giant Propel, but since function out ranks looks, I vote Giant!
The Look is much better looking, and that's just one of them. Others that look like the real deal (and better looking than that boring Factor) are Canyon, Giant, Specialized and Cervelo.
That was good fun way of reviewing those super-bikes.....and you almost got it right! Cannondale and should-have-been Propel for the top two (although the Merida is also really nice!). Ultimate winner would be errr just the Cann by a whisker......except none are as nice as a specced-up spotless Mark1 version of a Spesh Venge, such as the one I've just acquired for £400 (plus a further £600 for nicer wheels) !!
Unpopular opinion: I actually like the Bianchi Oltre RC design, it's edgy, it's different, it breaks the typical mold of an aero bike. It's not perfect but it's underrated. The Cervelo S5 and the new Y1RS has controversial design choices, but those are the bikes I really think catches my eye
Campag should take note. They used to make the premium groupset to have. There was nothing more premium than their components. Now bikes are actually not picked because they use Campag groups which are objectively worse than Shimano while costing as much as an entire bike...
I honestly thing the SL8 is one of the worst looking bikes in the tour. It feel fairly confident that Specialized throw every bike reviewing channel a bunch on cash every year. No one has ever said how flexy the bike is to ride, but it really is.
Specialized probably spend the least with media out of most of the brands to be honest, of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but we're sticking with ours
The RC logo on the NDS on a Bianchi ruins it immediately, especially as the cameras are predominantly on the NDS of cyclists. What are Colnago doing, weird gravel / road hybrid MTB
Your literally just talking about paint jobs, I might as well ask my wife which ones she likes the look of. I mean you could have a proper conversation about the frames, the bars, the wheels ...anything other than just whether it looks pretty coloured.
Had an Ostro, wasn’t great. Not as light as advertised, front end wasn’t that responsive. Stiff for sure but wasn’t in the same universe as the SL8. Good looking but really overrated bike.

I like the Bianchi. It’s funny they showed it on the non-drive-side with Reparto Corse writing instead of the main Bianchi logo side.

Factor Ostro best looking bike hands down

That isn't the correct colourway for the 2025 IPT Factor Ostro VAM. IMO the 2025 is a big improvement for the team colourway.
