Probably because he’s done with telling her nicely. He’s probably told her a bunch of times and she never listens. How many times does a husband have to tell his wife something and always be wrong? She needed to hear it from the judge.
He probably wanted to take responsibility and pay the fees and the wife disputed so he shrugged and said okay you can take on JJ I'll stay home with our daughter 😂
He couldn't even be bothered to help bring the groceries in so... Seems neither was too eager to go help break up the fight either (they likely have heard the ruckus and yelling).

And people get surprised when high energy, difficult to train dogs get bad reputations when they're handed to owners who have no idea what they're doing.
Exactly; my wife and I purchased a dog during the start of COVID and I was infatuated with the Belgian Malinois. I grew up with stubborn GSDs and thought I could handle the breed. Luckily, after hours/days of research, I knew this was not the dog for us.

Hardly anyone does proper research into a dog breed, let alone the requirements to keep/handle them.

I also have owned huskies. They absolutely can get out of a collar exactly as he stated. I also avoid Pit bulls at all times because they are unpredictable around other dogs.
I have had huskies too. A properly fitted escape proof buckle martingale collar works well for leash walking them.

Just say dog. Pit bulls are not the only dogs attacking other dogs or people. I have a pit bull who was attacked by a border collie and didn’t try to get that dog once while he was being attacked.

Reminds me of when I got literally jumped by a neighbor’s dog when I was 8. Was walking my bike up my driveway when the dog came out of nowhere and pounced me from behind. It didn’t bite me but my elbows got skinned to hell from hitting the concrete. My dad confronted the neighbor and took me with him to show off my bloody elbows, and the neighbor said, “Sir, I’m a doctor, those wounds won’t even scar.” My only regret is I’ll never be able to show him my scarred elbows. 😄

Any time there's a pit bull issue you count on the fact there will be apologists and vapid defenders of the breed in the comments section, but numbers don't lie.

It's not clear whether all these reported attacks resulted in physical injury that required medical treatment but I imagine an attack that does not result in such injury is probably less likely to be officially reported at all.
Personally I have known several Pit Bulls who were great dogs. When I volunteered for an animal re-homing shelter my favorite dog I ever worked with was a Pit Bull. However, any dog has the potential to be unpredictable and the issue is compounded by the ability of weak willed, incompetent individuals to own them. The fact that they exhibit a higher incidence of attacks and fatalities makes them unsuitable as pets. Perhaps some people should be able to own them in a professional capacity but it should require special training, passing a certain level of competency and very stringent special licensing.
When JJ said “have you been watching me for a long time” I expected the defendant to say “yes, I’ve been watching both of you for a long time”.

The defendant keeps hitting certain specifics; "from grocery shopping" "the laundry room" She clearly had a story, and kept trying to steer the conversation toward it.
What would’ve made sense is if she had a tie out already placed out there, and when she finished unloading the groceries she took the dog outside and tethered him/her to there tie out, to go to the bathroom. It doesn’t make any sense why she’d put him on a leash, take him 5 feet outside to tether him to a tree? Not even for a walk? 😂

I do not believe for a second that this man was walking his two dogs (huskie, malamute) off the leash - people who own those dogs understand mightily just how stubborn and strong they are at home, no way he'd risk that in public.
I agree, but at the same time, why was the collar so loose that it slipped off when they pulled back? Is it the thick hair that makes it slide easier? Why no harness?
@@courtneyr6645 Many dogs can easily slip a collar, especially larger dogs. Most owners are too afraid to put the collars on tight enough. Too many won't use a harness for better control of the dog as well. My old Rottweiler basically had a big muscular neck and ears, nothing to really stop the collar from slipping off. Always walked him with a harness to give me more control and less stress on his neck.
I walk my dogs on harness (chihuahuas). When they were attacked by a large dog, one of them immediately slipped backwards out of his harness. My neighbor walks her dog (Shepherd mix) on a collar. When her dog was attacked by a pit bull, it immediately backed out of its collar. Dogs can be remarkably “slippery” when faced with danger.
My Italian greyhound slips his harness easily. Their chests are so big and their heads so small that's it's hard to find something they can't get out of.
