The truck upgrades are coming along nicely my friend
Great video reviewing the Rokblokz mudflaps. I was unsure of what size to get for my Tremor but now I’m really decided for the STD size!
Your ride is spot on I’m waiting for my ford performance ditch lights to come this week I can’t be any happier with my ranger
My next purchase will be the ford performance fog lights in the front bumper and then I’ll be getting the ford performance differential cover
Awesome man, sounds like a great plan. Enjoy it, they're awesome.
Looks like you cut some of your exhaust pipe off I’m about ready to do that to mine
Getting my Fox 2.5’s w/ reservoir tomorrow… gonna give your technique a try. Looks way more easier! 💯
Beautiful Ranger
That my dream truck, loves that Hot Pepper Red color with Lariat
Looks greats. Thanks for sharing!
Really cool video.
Might throw some blue locktite on the bolts for the mud flaps. After 2 years of use on my Ranger, a couple of mine have run away
I've had my tremor for 2 years nows. It was such a pain getting my rockblokz to work out. They didn't have tremor or XL versions yet had to have back to back convos with the product designer to get them to modify the fit before they had a specific types.
I'm glad you put the work in..... I got the XL RockBlokz on my Tremor around 6 months ago and love them! They work great, and I love the Rally look of them on the truck. I'm glad I got the XL's, this guy will regret getting the smaller ones when he still gets chips on his paint from the rocks
this truck is starting to look exactly like mine haha
Love your truck...but I think I prefer my wider Rokblokz. I think the narrow ones look too small with your tires and bigger ones look just as good and more functional (cover more space). You're still gonna throw rocks outside those smaller ones with that stance.
Raptor lights in the grill would look sweet on your ride
Well done -
Brother, you are a better mechanic than I. For the life of me I cannot get the lower control arm to line up. Upgraded from ratchet strap to a come along and I'm still inches away.
What helped you finish the job
Spray paint the bolts black and cut them down a little so it looks flush and blends in
To each his own I guess . I removed the Tremor decals within 5 minutes of getting my truck home . I also own a 2014 F150 FX4 Tremor that I removed all the decals from . I never could understand why people actually like stickers on their vehicles .
I would do the same. 👍
Nice!! 👍
Is the alignment pin on the shock not important?
did you retorque the upper and lower struts after some kms run after installation of the 1" level kit?
Hey, I ended up with the exact same ditch lights and hood connector for them. Do you get a whistling sounds at higher speeds? it gets pretty annoying and loud when on the highway. I can hear the sounds through the windows too. I have mine pointing more outwards to see more on my sides if say I were to go on a trail at night. But curious if you get the whistle sound too.
okay, never mind. Think I figured it out. It seems like its the same issue with light bars that people have on top. The lights have those metal slits on the back as a way to cool the light while they are on. But air CAN flow through them and causes the whistle sound. Depending on the angle of them. So I will try and point them straight on and see if that fixes it.
Yes I do get a whistle. It's annoying, but facing them forward isn't an option as they are ditch lights
@@dksgarage6061 yeah bummer. There is a way to fix it on a light bar with some rubber edge trim. But that fix is a lot less noticeable than what it would be for these ditch lights. I think I have an idea to fix, will let ya know if it works.
Oh my tremor sticker lol.
Beautiful truck stance, do you really think this is best way to attack this job.. I've seen most others taking everything apart including hub but?
Yes, I really do. I've never tried it any other way personally, but I have heard a lot of horror stories from other people and I've watched a lot of videos doing other ways. I had absolutely no problems doing it by myself this way, and it was very quick.
@@dksgarage6061 thanks so much for info. I believe this was the best way to go even before watching any UA-cam videos but then shifted my opinion after watching about 9 online videos. I stumbled onto your video yesterday and that confirms my original gut feeling 👍
Greetings from Edmonton, Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
Happy Easter to you and Family
@@dksgarage6061 Here's another of those clips showing you to remove everything..

I have a 2022 ranger tremor xlt hot pepper 🌶 red 302a package
looks great, can you share specifications on tires? thanks
They are the Goodyear Duratracs 285/70-17
I have all that info in my other video too if you wanted to check that out.
@@dksgarage6061 great! Will do, Thanks!
i believe your rims are the stock 17"? what size your tires? 32s?, 33s?

Are those the stock rims? If so what size tires ? Just got my tremor and need nice tires
Yes stock rims

Hi, where can I get that Tremor decals?
Etsy.com
Wow the tremor lariat has a hood bar??? I have a 2019 ranger lariat has the hydraulics on it .....isnt tremor package along with lariat trim more than the lariat 19....id be pissed its like skimping on parts the more the years go on lol oh amd by the way truck looks good man
I noticed that also. I have a 2021 XLT 4x4 and the hood has the hydraulic shocks to hold it open. Also just ditch the stickers. I removed mine as soon as I got it home.
Did this affect your mpg/alignment/speedometer at all?
Yes. Anytime you go larger tires like this it will have an affect. But it's minimal.
Anyone know what size tires these are?
285/75-17
You can find them as "new takeoffs" on FB marketplace sometimes cause that size comes stock on some Jeeps
What’s the one inch part number?
I'm not sure it has a part number. There is a link in the description that'll take you straight to the 1" Level on their website though.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Really surprised that the tremors don’t have gas struts for the hood I bet you could get a set from ford
Redline Tuning has a set for $99 I'm going to get.
Oh sweet the other thing I wish ford would have done was be able to have the upfitter switches on all the rangers
Where did you get your letters for in the grill and are they metal or vinyl stickers
@@paulpeters5199 Etsy. They are vinyl stickers.
Thank you
Did he put the level on the bed while the truck was parked on a driveway with an incline?😂
My driveway has no incline haha it's flat. May not look like it but it is
how about showing how to lower the truck i am short and older person
Lifting an IFS vehicle doesn't really solve rubbing issues unless you never flex your suspension.
Some Bud lights on the tailgate will finish this build prefect 👍
Nice hack job
Thanks. Worked well
Those lights really ugly up a truck.
great vid. i need a garage. though
This method only works on a Tremor due to articulation of control arm, does not work on other models, you will never get strut with any spacer back in, this is the reason all other steps are required.
I just did it this way on my non tremor 22. I will say though it was def not as easy as he made it sound. Getting the lower control arm bolts in took a while.
