Anyone else think that unintentional ASMR is way better than intentional ASMR?
@@nirgunawish well you better believe it bruh

By far
Right here boy
Tsar Nicholas II nah
This is when Jason Statham finds peace, tranquility and a
North American accent...but very relaxing, loved it.
The entire video I was just waiting for a British accent and "ALRIGHT THEN LETS SORT THE BUYERS FROM THE SPIERS, THE NEEDY FROM THE GREEDY..............''
😂😂😂😂😂
Looks nothing like him. This is a lazy comment that’s quite the stretch
😂 Dyin...
hahahahaaha
One of the reasons I find his voice relaxing is that no one speaks like that. Everyone you meet is conditioned by stress and the majority of people think louder means dominance means stronger. They feel they need to yell and raise their voices to find relevance. You find yourself in stressful environments with stressful bitter miserable people on a regular basis. So when we end up listening to someone as calm as this someone who has mastered tranquility and peace through years of meditation we are calmed by it as if his vibration gets transferred to us. Like listening to your parents again as when you were a child when your mother put you to sleep. It’s rare to find humans as calm and gentle. It inspires me to be like this too.
true
Well said my man
thank you for this
Thank you for your insight. Personally it's the way he pronounces his t's and s's that does it for me, but the calmness of his voice is most certainly a welcome comfort in a world filled with nonstop hustle and flow.
Ymmmmmnnnnj mm m mom mm mom mmm mmm mmm jk
This dude is the real deal. I’m actually impressed.
Same. I've been sleeping to his videos for almost 1 and weeks now. He is also very wise and knowledgeable.
When people enunciate the s at the end of words very softly like he does at around 2:29 with "habits" it really works for asmr
Ok ive come back to this video a couple of times and just now listing to this again and I think ţhe ssssss sound was from the bird chirp in the background. The bird then chirps much more in the fallowing seconds
@@dominicbonifacio4408 It's not, would be cool if it was tho
Rick Steves also does this in his narrations.
Hahahahahah omg lol
A lot of that is due to technical reasons - the audio quality of the microphone. Certain mics are highly sensitive to sibilance.
I’ve attended various talks by this monk. I must say it’s even more calming when you see him in person.
Hey I've been trying to find him but no luck. Can u tell me his name if u know.

I read this right as it got up and shook itself off and I nearly melted
Cute little Goldie enjoying the waves with us

Just now saw that. ❤️
I find the cadence of his speech unusually calming. I think this is because he doesn't emphasize 'important' words while speaking as much as is common. Speculating as to why he does this: maybe with the self-acceptance one reaches via meditation, the desire to be engaging to others is lessened? Speculating as to why I like it: I think I have some associations with emphasis in speech being intended to persuade, and thereby instinctively react distrustfully. This cadence sounds guileless and honest to me, and I find this relaxing.
Thank you for articulating this the way you did. Much love brother/sister
❤️✨
Insightful
I think to speak with that sort of emphasis you and I expect is to speak in an attached way, rather than a relaxed way. He's speaking like its breathing, in such a way that you're meant to relax and absorb it rather than cling to every word as you follow an ebb and a flow, this is just sort of standing in a shallow stream.
I like to think he’s being mindful of his words... choosing what he says with extreme care... hence the pauses.
That’s a fun theory, but I think you may have gone off and running with your own idea.
At around 1:30 and slightly after he goes on a few sentences where he emphasizes the “important” words like you were saying. His speech pattern sounds pretty traditional, but he is speaking in a soft voice.
Let me point out that this is a talk about meditation. I’m sure he’s not a super loud talker to begin with, but it’s not a coincidence that he’s speaking quietly while covering this subject.
I know this version isn’t as fun but I think the more typical explanation is usually the correct one
Not to mention the birds chirping in the background and the visual of the coast coming in lol
0:51 that dog is living the life
Anyone else thought that thing sticking out of the water was a tiny hair stuck to their phone screen?

This man has THE perfect ASMR voice. So calming and serene. Every time I listen to this, I fall asleep long before halfway. Wonderful.

This is the closest Unintentional ASMR gets to being intentional - he is trying to relax us, after all

all monks speak in ASMR voice, close to enlightenment
Is it just me or does every single sentence he speaks starts out loud and slowly gets softer and softer until the end??
That’s how many people tend to talk, we gauge what levels of volume are necessary for the other person hear us without being too loud
just recently stumbled upon these videos and man this guy is gold! and I agree with the chat, unintentional is better than intentional! Very soothing!
This man started this whole thing with "and"
its a good way to start a talk. like you are just continuing a conversation begun long ago. its a popular way of speaking by priests and a lot of sentences in the bible begin with "and"
That's how the Buddha himself often started his discourses...
Unintentional is very organic and natural. There are certain intentional ones that I like but for the most part unintentional just flows better.
Lordy lordy. From the first sentence, I’ve got the ASMR pleasant numbness in my brain. The Canadian Monk and the Gemstone lady are my go-to.
I actually listen to his videos every night. He is very soothing.
ive watched this video for months now. im going to bed with a migraine, full of physical suffering, but keeping in mind Yuttadhammo's teachings from our religion. may you all find peace🙏Om Mani Padme Hum
I watch him for his lessons and advice for meditation and for the longest time thought that someone could make him into asmr. Was surprised you did it
Venerable Bhante has a UA-cam Channel by the name 'Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu' and does a live stream every Sunday around 00:30 Indian Standard Time.
Another person I can recommend is Gen-la Dekyong.
She has a very calming, slow British accent that always calms me down.
She also speaks about some interesting topics.

Now we know what happened to Smallville's Lex Luthor: all along he was living a double life as a Canadian-turned-Buddhist monk who changed his name to Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu and became a UA-cam mindfulness vlogger.
Although I don't really believe in most of buddhist teachings, I find the monks to be the wisest preachers and strongest people in the aspects of self control.
