The first one I can enjoy but I hate the rest. Hated them when I first watched them and I hate them today. Which is why I’m glad they chose to do a soft reboot with Bumblebee and I’m looking forward to the Rise of The Beasts, especially after the recent trailer revealed Unicron will be in the movie

Agreed. I also like how they gave both Dropkick and Shatter very distinct personalities. Instead of the Michael Bay films where the decepticons are basically just generic cannon fodder.
Fun fact: Most of the scenes for this movie where shot on site and alot of the explosions and stunts are real. I think this movie (and many of his other films) hold up quite well because there is not over reliance on CGI and Green Screens. If there are any positives I can say about Michael Bay as a director it is definitely that. The production of these films is a lot more intresting than the actual films. Also the CGI is still really good for it's time and is still better than most movies these days (ahem most MCU movies).

I loved the scene when Shia LaBeouf said "DO IT" and then proceeded to do on his enemies dreams. I have no doubt that this is not one but THE Michael Bay's movie of all time.

My dad and I saw the first movie on my 7th birthday and we quite enjoyed it, we went to see the rest of the films when they came out and we ended up stopping after the 4th movie, we both agreed the first movie was the best of them
StinkyBlueRat and Dumbs Caracter development is funny. From makeing fun of it to likeing it all along, seeing hints of SBRs appreciation of it but trying to hid it was a really nice touch.

The biggest pre-MCU blockbuster (and the biggest blockbuster of all time) would be Gone with the Wind from 1939. Not even Avatar managed to dethrone it as the highest grossing film of all time adjusted for inflation.
I recently rewatched the whole saga of the Michael Bay Transformers movies with my friends and we all loved this one. It's not perfect I know, but holy crap is it enjoyable. RoTF made us fall asleep because of the sensory overload it gave us, DoTM was a great time, AoE was meh and TLK is TLK, lol. But we still had a great time with all of these films (Especially 2007 and DoTM).
Honestly there was some cool art direction in the juxtaposition of the colors and types of vehicles the Autobots and Deceptions transformed into. There's actually some degree of legibility in the fight scenes in Transformers 1.
As crazy and stagnant the series became, I still hold the first Bayformer film in high regard as a pretty decent acrion film. The effects wnd audio design were absolutely on point.
It’s a fun monster/disaster movie that got a bad rep online because some old nerds say you’re supposed to hate it (& being one of the trendsetters for this approach to reviving old IP)

To be fair. Trasformers 1 is generally viewed as an 7 out of 10, after that stuff start to wear a but tin.
