@@eijmert I’m hyped because I’m hyped lol..? Tf. I don’t often buy myself stuff, I really enjoyed the last psvr however it just didn’t match up to many of the others out there. The haptic feedback, eye tracking and better quality visuals are more than enough for me to be hyped 😊

@eijmert Huh? What are you talking about...PSVR 2 is miles superior than Quest 2.
I played hundreds of hours with the Psvr1. It definitely has it’s flaws but it introduced me to vr gaming. It’s the most immersive way to play a game, super excited for Psvr2.

playing flat screen and in VR is difference like DAY and NIght, flat screen gaming cant be compared to VR as experience, VR is 10 levels above.
Absolutely. All flat games feel incredibly casual after having spent maybe 1000 hours in VR. Haven't touched an FPS game on a screen since 2015.. Never will again.. Same with simulators, I'm not gonna be doing flight sims on a SCREEN ever again.. Cause that's pathetic.
Imo vr gets old after about a week. Its not something that remains exciting for years.

As other mentioned It is very hard to go back to Flat gaming.
Is not only the massive real life size scales.... there is an entire new gameplay only feasible in VR that flatscreen cannot do.
And VR can play Non-VR games...in MASSIVE CINEMA SIZE screens that are not possible unless you own your own cinema to play :P (and still VR wins because you can have all sizes and shapes of Cinema screens hehehe)

This game is looking better and better every time they show it. I'd love to see a bit more of the exploration and puzzle solving.
I also hope there are more big games to be announced for PSVR 2. I'll get one eventually, but I'm not preordering/buying until a few more triple-A games are announced.
There are several rumours that Sony came to an agreement with valve regarding half life Alyx, hope to see a confirmation soon..
@@MegaItouchhelper I really hope that happens too, but I haven't seen any highly credible sources on it. It seems to me like most of the "rumors" around PSVR 2 games start out as wishful thinking from someone, and then the internet runs with it. HLA could definitely happen, but it might not. It isn't like Valve needs the money.

What have they actually shown though? A very short trailer? I wanna see like actual gameplay video. Like maybe a 20 minute stretch. I'm still not convince this game is actually a full game in the vain of Asgards Wrath. Why hasn't Sony shown a gameplay walkthrough yet? I have a feeling this game is nothing more than a series of hallways, on rail parts, and fighting same enemies over and over. Not even a close sense of exploration etc. Not a full game compared to something like ASgards Wrath or HL:A

The combat is not why I'm buying this game, it doesn't look like what I would like in vr combat, I'm buying the bundle and personally excited to just walk around looking at the world

I have the quest 2 and PSvr i love them both, but man if the PSVR gets resident evil 4 in vr its over i am talking about the OG re4 like the quest has and RE4 remake and RE7,8
Re4 remake will have a vr mode for psvr 2 as well.
Will definitely be picking this up but $60 for a 7-8 hour campaign? Was really hoping this would be AT LEAST 15 hours for that price. Hopefully some of the other games coming out will have longer campaigns. Also hope they will have a physical release of PSVR2 games.
Sadly most vr games from experience have a 8-12 hour campaign.

What is the combat in this game? Can you freely run around and shoot your bow and arrow and smack things and stuff?
I think the combat sections are kinda on rails,like just run in circles against enemies. Wich is kinda dissapointing

They're trying to sell you the console as well so they make more money. Eventually, maybe you'll be able to play it on PC but I would think you would still need their VR headset.

The tech just isn't there yet....
Once we get VR with full range of vision (no black bars) then things will explode.
These VR trailers are always underwelming like it captures only 1% of real experiences. My main concern is motion sickness though I hope the cam doesn't move a lot.
Can we all agree this VR game actually looks better than anything on the SX? This is what happens when the Series 💩 holds multiplat gaming back this whole gen. What a terrible mistake M$ made with the Series 💩 which is barely more powerful than the OG ps4
Yeah.. I don't really take microsoft seriously anymore. They're as occupied with streaming games on Chromebooks as they are making console games...
So far, this generation (both xbox and PS) have been enormous disappointments for me personally. This might just become the worst console generation ever for me... And the PS4/Xbone/Wii-U generation was already kinda bad..
@@vgaportauthority9932 generation haven't even started yet really. The pandemic dragged the cross gen period longer than usual and so it really starts next year to get serious. So I wouldn't be this negative already.

I was considering buying the PSVR2, but I gave up after seeing 2 things: 1 - must have a ps5, 2 - it is more expensive than one of the best VR headsets in the market (Oculus Quest 2).
PSVR 2 vs Oculos Quest 2:
C$ 750 vs C$ 570 (+ 2 games in the bundle)
I love the PlayStation exclusives, but Sony is getting greedier...

The gameplay really wouldn't work in a non-VR version. This was built for VR, and wouldn't be nearly as fun outside of it.
I'd say give it a shot if Sony has public PSVR 2 demos. Or if you're really against VR for some reason, just enjoy the two full Horizon games that aren't in VR, including the new DLC for Forbidden West that was just announced.
Never liked Horizons combat seemed pretty flat but will give this a try in VR
Horizon's combat system is excellent, one of the best in open world games I have seen
