    It amazes me how much you get done despite your health issues AND having a baby. I am "only" chronically depressed (meaning I have no physical illneses) and I can barely do the bare minimum to survive lol

    • @FaeTigre
      @FaeTigre 4 роки тому +31

      Don't sell yourself short. "Only depression" doesn't mean you should feel bad for doing the bare minimum. (I mean intrusive thoughts that come with depression are there to make you feel bad). But point being, it's a process to getting better and doing all you might want to do. Be patient with yourself and give yourself the time you need.

    • @KlairedeLysOfficial

      "Only depression" is no joke. I had it from 14 till 27 and it's frickin' brutal. I hope it gets better for you.

      That's a whole mood man. But please, don't be so hard on yourself that how the monster feeds. Do what you can, do what makes you happy, And seeking help if you can is never a bad idea. Best of luck to you, please stay hydrated.

      debilitating depression can be worse than a physical disability. you know you have the health to do what needs to be done, but no motivation whatsoever, so you continually beat yourself up over it and live in misery and self deprecation. do what you can do and don't beat yourself up. progress, no matter how slow, is still progress.

    I say keep the mirror as is! I'm a sucker for old things and aesthetics though, so I may be biased, but there's something about gold on white that makes everything look clean.
    You are the champion of champions for getting that done, AND having Potato strapped on your back whilst doing it was the best to watch.

    I would love to see your transformation of the mirror! I came to your channel when I was getting more into makeup and transforming my face. I'm so glad to be here now to witness you transform your life the way you need and want it. I remember how shocked and excited I was to see your first baby video and realize that you had only gone and made a family for yourself! Looking forward to more from you always

    Btw I personally think the mirror looks beautiful in gold and it doesn't affect the white-brown look of the stairs

    We bought a foreclosure, & remodeling with kids is really thee most difficult thing. Ever. I have 2 young ones. One is disabled so her wheelchair takes priority. We’ve remodeled our entire house on a budget, and continue to work on it.
    It’s really the smallest details that make it feel like home. Outside of decor. Like new baseboards, refinished floors, or even just new hardware in some rooms.
    I’ve been a devout follower since the days of cutting your hair for charity organizations, being a guru before guru was a thing, and now I’m watching you raise your baby in the most honest way possible.
    I wish the best for entire family. 🖤

    im so invested in the progress of your house its unreal. Also, my mum gets irritated by varnish as well so when she does her wood work she uses a wax instead and it usually comes out smoother after a few coats than varnish would, maybe thats an option for you

    Great job on the stairs, you really worked hard on it. It turned out beautiful! Hm as for the mirror you could paint it but I think leave it as it is. The gold colouring would make it a nice centrepiece and give the hall some contrast.

    Lovely stairs! I absolutely love the stain! We have worn though our varnish on our wood floors through lots of dogs and rolling chairs. Our floors are pretty bad a chipping up and splintering, but we put our floors through a lot more than you would your stairs. Our varnish took a week to cure which, other than moving every inch of furniture out of our bottom floor, is why we can’t replace it. I dunno how yours would work.

    You are a champion! The stairs look lovely. Seriously though, strapping your son to your back was incredibly clever. Also with the mirror, if it’s white, it might disappear into the wall (or not) so maybe if you wish, paint the mirror with a grounding colour? Idk, I’m just guessing.
