I have been watching Klaire for about a decade now, I cannot comprehend she is older than 23-24. My mind doesn't accept it.

Honestly Klaire, is there anything you cannot do? Wow! This is truly inspiring, even more so because I know from your previous videos that your health hasn´t always been the best. Kudos to you for always attempting new things and renovating anything that needs renovation yourself! Take care

I love watching these videos. A lot of times I see youtubers talk about remodeling their home, but it already looks perfect to begin with. It's nice to see someone fix a 'regular' house with actual house issues.

Okay I always thought those mop socks were gimmicky. I am now convinced and need them. I am a fiend about sweeping, a remnant of spending most of my childhood and adolescence sweeping stableyards and barns -- I'm a perfectionist about it now. Those look awesome and far more fun to use than a broom! Duck feet mops!

Frenchic paint is so good! All of my furniture in my new house is from facebook marketplace/ really old and have had it for years and has been up-cycled with it! Like you I'm slowly (a bit quicker in this quarantine) working my way round the house I've bought, which hasn't had much TCL for several decades and had been empty for over a year when I moved in.
Your videos are always so inspiring and always giving me new ideas and things to try out. I made a few beeswax wraps yesterday following your video/ blog post about them a while ago and am excited to use them. Your stairs have given me some different ideas on what to do with mine when I get round to them too.
Thank you so much for always creating such amazing content!

I know this may seem a bit basic, but at some point I'd love to see a post - if there isn't one already - on your most used tools for home projects and what you've used them for. I need to start building a kit, but I don't want to get everything under the sun because a) expensive and b) storage. I'd love to get input on tools to own vs tools to borrow/rent, and potentially multi-use items that aren't intended to be house tools but that you've discovered work well.

i'm wondering how old your house is. also, are you still doing much with your music? or did you illness and married/mommy life put that on the back burner? i've watched you for many many years and always enjoy your videos.

It was built in 1971, so not that old, but when we moved in the windows were leaking, the roof was broken, so was the boiler and the hot air system was condemned a week after we moved in. It's been a LONG job fixing one problem after another.

@@KlairedeLysOfficial oh wow. what a mess. its a good thing you are so talented and willing to learn new skills to get it fixed. the house we lived in for 20 years had massive problems too. but it was 100 years old (and poorly built) in the US. when we remodeled it, we found there was no insulation left in the walls and no heat or cool system. we live in the center of the US (kansas) so we get the cold part of winter AND the hot part of summer. i was quite upset when i moved here from south east texas and found it to be just as hot!

@@Midlife_Manical_Mayhem I'm still doing music, but I had to sell my piano to cover some of the house costs (and because I was so sick I couldn't play at the time) I didn't think I would be able to get better so it seemed like the right thing to do. I'm hoping to save up enough this year to get a cheaper version back.

@@Midlife_Manical_Mayhem LOL New England is that way also. Crazy hot humid summers and very cold winters. In New England we like to say we have five seasons, not 4. Summer, fall, winter, mud, spring! I live in Florida now, but I miss New England.

We got it fixed temporarily (we couldn't afford to have the whole thing properly fixed, just patch job) so we have about 3 years to save before it needs complete gutting and re-tiling.
